Dataset for: "Predictive Modeling for Low-Power Direct Energy Deposition of 316L Stainless Steel
This is the dataset for the paper, we present an in-depth investigation into the optimization of processing and geometric parameters in low-power laser-directed energy deposition (DED) of 316L stainless steel, with a particular focus on achieving high structural reliability, minimal porosity, and enhanced deposition quality.
Our research demonstrates how key parameters—laser power, traversing speed, powder feed rate, hatch spacing, and interlayer height—can be systematically optimized to ensure repeatability in production cycles, efficiency, and a well-characterized microstructure with microhardness comparable to or superior to forged counterparts. Through iterative adjustments and statistical analyses, we developed predictive mathematical models that incorporate specific energy and mass per unit length, offering a robust framework for process optimization. Notably, our findings identify five optimal parameter configurations across different power levels, validated through over 150 experiments, and introduce ten equations that accurately predict bead and structural geometry in layer-by-layer fabrication
SSAQS: A Dataset of University Students’ Stress and Anxiety Levels based on Questionnaires and Wearable Sensors
We present SSAQS, a multimodal dataset that captures students’ daily stress and anxiety levels through self-reports and wearable sensor data. The dataset was collected during one academic semester (February–July 2025) from undergraduate volunteers at two Mexican universities. 35 participants provided daily ratings of stress and anxiety using a mobile application, while Fitbit Inspire 3 devices continuously recorded physiological and behavioral data, including heart rate, sleep quality, oxygen saturation, stress score, physical activity, and step count.
The root directory of the SSAQS dataset consists of two .csv files (users-courses.csv, course-details.csv) and a subdirectory for each of the participants. The subdirectory name corresponds to the participant's ID. The specific data for each participant is contained in their corresponding subdirectory. Each subdirectory has seven .csv files:

Except for the three users who did not provide Fitbit data (users 3, 12, and 14). In those cases, only the daily_questions.csv is present.

EC-CEI03 25A:: Neurophysiological and Physiological Data in Negotiation Training (Neuro-negotiation)
This dataset was collected as part of a quasi-experimental study designed to analyze neurophysiological responses during a high-stakes negotiation exercise focused on persuasive communication, emotional regulation, and crisis-handling strategies. The activity, referred to as the NeuroNegotiation Challenge, exposed students to scenarios requiring real-time decision-making, persuasive framing, and adaptive management of objections or conflicts.
Two data-collection phases were conducted to compare cognitive-emotional variations over time:

Biometric Devices Used
Muse 2 EEG Headband:
Neuroelectrical activity was recorded using the Muse 2 EEG headset, enabling fine-grained monitoring of cortical oscillations associated with executive functions relevant to persuasion and crisis management.
Device specifications:
● Sampling rate: 256 Hz
●Electrode channels: TP9, AF7, AF8, TP10
●Frequency bands captured: delta, theta, alpha, beta, gamma
These signals support characterizations of attention, alertness regulation, inhibitory control, cognitive workload, and mental fatigue during the negotiation phases.
Embrace Plus Wristband (Empatica):
Physiological activity was recorded using the Embrace Plus multimodal wearable, which monitors biomarkers associated with autonomic nervous system activation in emotional and stress-laden situations.
Biomarkers collected:
●Electrodermal Activity (EDA): Phasic and tonic conductance responses linked to arousal, emotional activation, stress, and heightened engagement (approx. 4 Hz sampling).
●Blood Volume Pulse (BVP): Peripheral pulse wave enabling the derivation of
Heart Rate (HR) , Heart Rate Variability (HRV).
Both reflect sympathetic–parasympathetic balance, cognitive effort, and adaptive stress regulation.
●Skin Temperature: Peripheral thermoregulation indicator sensitive to stress reactivity, cognitive workload, and affective shifts (~1 Hz sampling). </p
The evolution of serious health-related suffering from 1990 to 2021: an update to The Lancet Commission on global access to palliative care and pain relief
The purpose of this initiative is to provide public access to estimates of the evolution of severe health-related suffering (SHS) for the years 1990, 2000, 2010, 2019, 2020 and 2021, as well as annual opioid data distributed in morphine equivalent (DOME) between 1990 and 2022 in 183 countries. These data support the analyses presented in the following scientific papers:

Higher Education Competency Dataset based on the TEC21 Educational Model of Tecnologico de Monterrey
The dataset includes anonymized information related to undergraduate students who have taken at least one semester in the TEC21 Educational Model at Tecnologico de Monterrey in Mexico from August-December 2019 to February-June 2022 (six cohorts). LATAM-DDoS-IoT Dataset
Anomaly detection is a well-known topic in cybersecurity. Its application to the Internet of Things can lead to suitable protection techniques against problems such as denial of service attacks. However, Intrusion Detection Systems based on Artificial Intelligence, as a defense mechanism, need robust data sources to achieve strong generalization levels from the knowledge domain of interest. Therefore, here we present the LATAM-DDoS-IoT dataset, which results from a collaboration among Aligo, Universidad de Antioquia, and Tecnologico de Monterrey. The LATAM-DDoS-IoT dataset includes attack traffic to physical Internet of Things devices and normal traffic from real external users consuming actual services from Aligo's production network

Dataset on Higher Education Students' Profiles with Social Commitment
The dataset includes anonymized information related to undergraduate students who have been part of the Leaders of Tomorrow’s Program at Tecnologico de Monterrey in Mexico from August-December 2014 to February-June 2023 (nine cohorts). Among the data categories available in this dataset are:
-Sociodemographic information (age range, gender, type of land-use zone).
-Admission information (High school GPA (Grade Point Average), cohort, program/school).
