In this research paper, we try to stand on the technique of intertextuality in contemporary Algerian poetry, as this literary phenomenon confers aesthetic meanings and dimensions on the literary text. The literary and religious resources with which the selected models interacted, and the repercussions provided by this literary technique from the absent text to the birth of the present text. Its historical path is a humanistic literary technique that eliminates borders, distances and differences to unite the cultures of people

Technology-Based Learning (TBL) and the Learners’ Autonomy

    No full text
Two areas of concern, technology-based learning (TBL) and autonomy are discussed in this paper and indicate a fundamental shift in the focus of practice in the field of learning. At the core of this shift is the fact that learning autonomy can be achieved through technology. The learners’ autonomy is a major issue faced by teachers. Autonomy is important because autonomous learners are motivated and their learning is effective and efficient. Because of the changing and increasingly varied landscapes of teaching and learning, the learners’ autonomy has to be carefully established. In view of this reason, TBL has established itself as a relevant method of learning from which students’ autonomy is expected to benefit. Technology in general and computers in particular also engage the learners in classroom learning through the enjoyment and the increased ease of learning it offers. Yet, teachers can not withdraw from the educational scene. They have wider responsibilities and more creative and challenging roles. They are the leaders who keep the gate to classroom use. What they need is to revise their knowledge because the eye-to-eye classroom methods and techniques are not fruitful in helping them find their way into the new landscapes of teaching and learning

    Machine translation; Prospects and challenges

    No full text
Machine translation nowadays plays the role of mediating between languages in the transfer of scientific and cultural production between different countries of the world in order to ensure easy and comprehensive scientific communication, as it has had great credit in translating many scientific texts, and achieved positive results besides human beings in various fields, but the latter suffers from problems and difficulties which led to turning a blind eye to them by users.     Machine translation is still questionable because it is unable to convey many sentences and ideas that are alien to them, since the machine is limited and does not have another system outside the programmed language, it does a literal translation, which calls for the intervention of the human factor or, rather, the translator who covers that deficit by rewriting and modifying the text

this  study addresses the poem excerpted from the collection of poems "Haifa has mymother\u27s lantern in her hands" by  Palestinian poet, Jamal Salsa\u27. It is a criticallywell- woven aesthetic study, in which the researcher investigates the poem\u27s linguisticcontext, digs into its exclusive poetic character and sails deeply into its panoramicaesthetic and intellectual composition. This is wholly achieved through the creativeemployment of certain key words, which come up with significant illusions anddenotations, which lead to a unique poem, especially, when these poetic genres appearthrough the key words, which set up the text entity and its poetic composition anddye it with its special color.this  study addresses the poem excerpted from the collection of poems "Haifa has mymother\u27s lantern in her hands" by  Palestinian poet, Jamal Salsa\u27. Taylor collocation method for high-order neutral delay Volterra integro-differential equations

    No full text
In this paper, the Taylor collocation method is applied to numerically solve a kth-order neutral linear Volterra integro-differential equation with constant delay and variable coefficients. We also provide a rigorous analysis to estimate the difference between the exact and approximate solution and their derivatives up to order k-1. Numerical examples are included to prove the performance of the presented convergent algorithm

    No full text
This research paper aims to know the impact of oil price fluctuations on inflation in Algeria during the period from 1990 to 2021 using an autoregressive Var model. Where after examining the stability of the time series of the variables under study, it was found that they are stable at the first differences. After doing the Engel and Granger co-integration test, it was found that there is no long-term co-integration relationship between oil prices and the inflation rate, which made us rely on the autoregressive model. The study concluded with a set of results, namely the absence of a causal relationship between the two variables during the study period, in addition to the fact that the impact of oil price fluctuations on inflation amounted to a large percentage estimated at 74%, while the remaining percentage was caused by other factors.&nbsp
