No full textThis study is summarized in answering a problem centered on the possibility of considering digital orientation an inevitable necessity or an option adopted by countries, as it aims to clarify the concept of digital transformation and its stages, identify the reasons for going towards it, and analyze the reality of digital transformation in the African continent.
This study concluded that digital transformation requires funding, human resource efficiency, and an adequate infrastructure, in addition to the fact that the digital transformation strategy in Africa bears weaknesses such as lack of coordination between continental institutions, lack of funding, guidance and training provided to digital entrepreneurs, and in order to achieve Digital transformation requires training human resources in order to improve their performance in this field, and to provide the necessary environment

No full text The aim of the present research is to identify the effectiveness of the audiovisual media in the teaching of Arabic to non-native speakers. These audiovisual media can be considered as one of the effective means of improving the quality of education in accordance with the requirements of current ICT. Therefore, we plea for the necessity to utilize it in all educational institutions in Algeria.
Under this scenario, the researcher was required to shed light on some of the terms and concepts related to the subject such as the concept of the audiovisual media their types and characteristics, through the emphasis on the role of the teacher as the guide and the path of the educational process, and the learner as the active element and the cornerstone upon which the teaching/learning situation is built. Meanwhile, the practical aspect was devoted to conducting two questionnaires on two samples of testchers and students at the Centre for Intensive Language Teatching in Algiers. At the end of this research, we have found out the essential role of the audiovisual media plays in enacting the different learning activities offered for the foreign learner
Exploring EFL Teachers’ First Experience with Online Assessment at Mohamed Lamine Debaghine Setif-2 University
No full textThe current study aims to explore teachers’ experience with online assessment. It seeks to investigate EFL teachers’ perceptions, practices and challenges of online assessment at Mohammed Lamine Debaghine University- Setif2. To achieve the purpose of this study, an exploratory design is followed. For data collection, a semi-structured adapted questionnaire is administered to 34 EFL teachers who are selected based on a convenience sampling technique. The data are analyzed quantitatively using SPSS.22 and qualitatively via thematic analysis. The results reveal that teachers have positive perceptions of using online assessment to evaluate students’ progress. However, the findings indicate that online assessment practices are not well implemented; and teachers tend to focus on-open ended practices with written assignments and research projects as the major strategy for their online assessment practice. Another finding reveals that teachers are facing a number of challenges when implementing online assessment among which are: the potential risk of students cheating, the poor or absence of internet connection, the difficulty of assessing students online in listening or speaking classes and teachers’ unfamiliarity with ICT’s. Accordingly, a number of pedagogical implications is offered
Verb Inflection in English and Arabic: A Contrastive Analysis Study
No full textInflection, the change of word form to mark grammatical distinctions, occurs in a variety of grammatical classes: nouns, verbs, adjectives, pronouns, etc. The purpose of the present paper is to describe the verb inflectional morphology in English and Arabic and to conduct a contrastive analysis of both of them. The research question which is put forth is: how do the verb inflectional morphology in English and Arabic differ from/resemble each other? To answer this question, a systematic descriptive comparative study is carried out with a unique focus on the verb inflectional categories. Eventually, it was found that the Arabic verb inflectional morphology is richer and varied from that of the English. Such a study has implications in fields like foreign language teaching/learning, translation, electronic dictionaries, natural language processing, and the like

This is in the light of some variables such as sex and age. The method of social scanning was adopted using the random sample, where data were collected by forms and the SPSS system was identified as a tool for study. The results of the study showed responses Different members of the study sampleAbout the types of violence prevalent in the state of el-Tarf, Statistically, we found differences with a statistical function between the prevalence of violent Behaviours and unemployment, and we found differences of function Statistical differences between social and unemployment, but we also found differences with a statistical function between the group of comrades and the abandonment of the role of the institutions of upbringing.Finally, a set of recommendations was proposed, the most important of which was the search for the impact of other variables and further studies on the subject
