No full textThis study aims to measure the effect of inflation on economic growth in Algeria using a time series from 1980 to 2016. This is done using the nonlinear model of the instantaneous transition threshold (TR), and depending on methodology of Khan and Senhadji (2001) in estimating this model. The study found a statistical significance for the non-linear model between inflation and economic growth at 6.5% as an inflation threshold, where the strong negative impact on economic growth starts if inflation exceeds this rate. On the other hand, economic growth will not deteriorate as long as inflation is below the level of 6.5%, allowing the monetary authorities ; especially the central bank to apply a monetary policy aims at reducing inflation rates and making them below the level of estimated threshold In order to maintain economic stability in Algeria.

No full textCette étude vise à mettre en évidence le rôle des méthodes quantitatives de la recherche opérationnelle dans la prise de décision au niveau des institutions économiques, le succès de l\u27une d\u27elles dépendent de sa capacité à utiliser les ressources disponibles d’une manière optimale, cela nécessite également une grande efficace pour trouver des solutions appropriées aux différents problèmes qui concernent la façon de gérer ces ressources, d’où l\u27importance accrue de l\u27utilisation de la RO pour résoudre ces problèmes, surtout après avoir prouvé son efficacité au niveau des différents institutions et administrations. Parmi les problèmes les plus courants et au niveau des institutions de prestation de service, tel que les banques commerciales, par exemple , c’est le problème de la gestion du temps pour offrir un service à leurs clients, à travers cet article, nous avons essayé de traiter ce genre de problème, grâce à l\u27utilisation de la théorie des files d\u27attente dans les banques commerciales en Algérie (la Banque Extérieure d’Algérie – agence de Msila074 - modèle), cela est dû au fait qu’elle est considérée comme un moyen très approprié pour déterminer le temps attendu par les clients de la banque dans les files d\u27attente, et donc trouver des solutions adéquates par les décideurs de manière à améliorer la qualité de leurs services

No full textAbstract: This study aims to analyse investment risks nature and sources in Islamic FinancialProducts and its Ethical counterpart arising from its investing, and also to demonstrate theimpact of their performance and risks measuring on the investor\u27s behavior. Secondly, ThePerformance analysis method is used to compare the two selected benchmarks chosen fromamong the (DJIM) family of the Canadian Stock Market, utilising daily data of the close pricesof the Islamic index (CANI) and its Ethical counterpart (CAN) covering the period from(January 2005 to December 2015). The results show that the Islamic index (CANI) outperformand was more volatility sensible than its Ethical counterpart (CAN), particularly during theperiod of the Sub-prime Crisis in 2008. Finally, the analysis of the correlation rate shows thatthere was no significant link between the studied indices and US (T-Bill), which denies theexistence of the benchmark price risk. The study affords some of recommendations amongthem: improving the competitiveness in the Islamic Financial Markets (a), by using ModernInformation Systems (b) and the independence of Shariah Boards of Islamic Banks (c), tomanage and hedge risks

Get PDFIn this study we try to address the phenomenon of the Algerian citizen\u27s hoardingand keeping money away from banks in an era where they rely on electronic means of payment.As economic and political conditions continued to deteriorate, many customers withdrew theirfunds from the financial system either for trading or to store them outside the banking system,leading to a severe liquidity crisis.We will discuss solutions and how to reduce the crisis of liquidity and repeated apparentcompactness, especially with the treasury revenues decline, as the prices of oil continue todecline , which causes a shock to the economy, it is difficult to deal with or get out from withminimal damage
