Pedigree Paradox is a video presentation created from a research essay set to answer the question of how pedigree standards can harm dogs. Many dog breeds are riddled with health problems affecting quality of life, with some being existential. This presentation aims to inform about the history of pedigree standards, the specific health issues from those standards, how the standards have gotten that way, and how it may affect the future of certain dog breeds.
