A prehistoric presentation of osteoarthritis (degenerative joint disease) in the marine reptile Tylosaurus

Gross pathology was noted on the right fore-paddle. Investigation found considerable osteophyte growth on the appendicular surfaces of the right humerus, radius, and ulna, indicative of osteoarthritis, a chronic degenerative joint disease.
