    Navigating Risks: A Comprehensive Functional Hazard Assessment of eVTOL Power Battery Systems

    With the advancement of the power battery and electric propulsion technology, the versatile redundancy enables the eVTOL aircraft design to be more reliable and cost-effective, thereby to be safer. This mandate the conducting of systematic aircraft level safety mitigation and comprehensive functional hazard assessment to ensure a fail-safe design, and process assurance to address the potential development errors in a pragmatic manner. After describing the application scenarios of eVTOL, the safety mitigation effects of applying crashworthiness and ballistic rescue system (BRS) on eVTOL aircraft were analyzed and elaborated, and the flight profile of eVTOL was refined based on the aircraft level safety objectives. Utilizing the commercial aircraft system engineering approach, an aircraft level functional hierarchy was proposed for eVTOL, emphasizing completeness and correctness. Insight of the innovative features of the electric power battery system, the well-established aircraft functional hazard assessment (FHA) methodology was deployed to scrutinize the functional inventory. Utilizing the conventional power battery system architecture found in Electric Vehicle (EV), the pertinent functions of the eVTOL's power battery system have been allocated in order to identify potential weaknesses and opportunities for improvement from a safety perspective in extant EV power battery systems. Suggestions were made after discussions that, prior to installing existing power battery systems into eVTOL aircraft applications, developers must not only enhance the availability, reliability, and safety of the battery system, but also identify and mitigate single-point failures and design errors within the extant battery system to substantiate the compliance to safety courses in airworthiness regulations

    Solar Tracking (ST) is employed to maximize output power due to the nonlinear characteristics of renewable energy sources. Sunlight is considered the most reliable traditional source of energy when energy emergencies arise. First, we present some basic characteristics of the motor in the form of Tables and Figures. Solar panel tracking is, therefore, necessary to enhance their efficiency. In this article, we present the sensor based viz. STM32 microcontroller has been implemented in real-time using the PV arrays. In addition, we did an analysis of stateof-the-art reviews of solar photo-voltaic systems for this research article. Researchers have developed sensor-based techniques to improve renewable energy systems. This technique performs better than other traditional methods

    On the Mechanical Interaction between two Small Antennas

    The emergence of a time-constant interaction force between a pair of antennas of sound and electromagnetic waves is shown analytically. This force is identically analytically expressed through the phases of excitation of the antennas and the distance between them both for acoustic and electromagnetic cases. Frequencies, excitation phases, and distances between the antennas were found at which the antennas maximize either the mutual repulsive (attractive) forces in a pair of antennas, or the wave thrust forces that tend to move a pair of antennas in one direction. It is shown that the force of the wave thrust of a pair of antennas is opposite to the radiation flux, which plays a role similar to gases flowing from a rocket nozzle. For a catamaran (two floats-antennas of surface gravity waves on water with a phase shift of their vertical oscillations by ) the forward motion speed and the force of wave thrust, as well as the surface jet current near the float, similar to the flow created by a propeller, were measured. In this case, the inversion of the difference in the excitation phases of the half floats simultaneously led to an inversion of the thrust force, translational motion and jet flow. The dependence of the wave thrust on the excitation frequency (with a structurally fixed phase difference ) in the experiment turned out to be similar to the analytically obtained dependences for sound and electromagnetic waves

    This paper provides the solution of the classical navier stokes mo-mentum equations within the common three dimensional euclidean space. The function variable of the equations, h := (p, v) takes values in R4, consisting of a skalar field �pressure� p and a vector field �velocity� v where both, p and v depend on the same four variables (x, y, z, t). The solution space L ? {h ? C(R4 , R4 ), the continuous differentiable functions from R4 to R4 |v(x, y, z, t) = h(�, w(x, y, z, t)) ? C 2 (R4 , R3 ), the twice continuous differentiable functions from R4to R3� , for all functions w}. The equation system �navier-stokes�, as we will show, is underspecified as infinite many solutions exist. We will show smoothness and existence of the general solution of the navier stokes equations. We will deal with fluid dynamics and their boundary conditions for the com- pressible case as a general case of the incompressible one

    This study aimed to assess the community\u27s perception of the impact of a university, and to contribute to the consolidation of mechanisms that aim to assess the perception of the impact of the university community. To this end, 30 interviews were carried out with community Leaders from different segments of society. The themes involved in the interviews were guided by a conceptual model that considers three types of impact: socioeconomic, shttps://journalspress.com/LJRMB_Volume24/The-University-Beyond-its-Walls-Expectations-of-Community-Leaders.pdfcientific-technological and cultural and image of the region. The model also addresses the idea of ??outputs and inputs of a university. The exits are products and services that universities generate for the community, and the inputs are the demands that a university has from the community. The answers were systematized searching evolving to identify the positive, negative impacts and aspects that the university sees it as the university\u27s mission. The positive impact highlighted the following aspects: existence of projects, impact on the economy, education available formal status and image of the region associated with the university\u27s positive actions. The negative impact is related to the connection made to the presence of university with an increase in drug use, loud noise, and disturbance of the peace in addition to the increase in the cost of living and the negative image of the region associated with the facts negative events that occurred at the university. Finally, they highlighted as a mission, the absence of the university in the community, the difficulty of the institution in inserting itself in the local context, the difficulty of carrying out projects, little effectiveness of the means of university communication and little effectiveness of university participation university in municipal bodies and councils

    Impact of the COVID 19 Pandemic on Private Higher Education Institutions in Brazil

    This research aimed to understand the transformations that occurred in private higher education institutions in Brazil during the pandemic period and the perceived impacts after this period. During the research, a bibliographic search on the subject in question was conducted, and an investigation instrument was applied to 114 educational managers from higher education institutions from all regions of Brazil. This instrument was developed with closed, multiple-choice, direct, and indirect questions and divided into two parts. The first part collected general data to understand the profile of the respondents, and the second part collected specific data on the topic relevant to this research. Descriptive and inferential statistical methods were applied to analyze the data. Qualitative variables were presented by absolute and relative frequency distributions. Quantitative variables were presented by measures of central tendency and variation. The results indicated that there were transformations in areas of the organization such as academic, financial, and planning and management, but the academic area was the one that underwent the most transformations overall. Another point highlighted was the type of academic organization, with University Centers being the most affected by strategic transformations. It was also noted that institutions were impacted in a similar way when compared by region. Finally, when comparing institutions based on the number of enrolled students, smaller institutions were the ones that underwent the most strategic transformations

In this paper, our study intended to examine the availability of government services using social and economic� indicators relevant to families and individuals -such as the gross domestic product per capita, the number of� government employees per thousand people, and the country\u27s happiness index.
