KPWr (Polish Corpus of Wrocław University of Technology, pol. Korpus Języka Polskiego Politechniki Wrocławskiej) is a corpus of written and spoken documents available on the Creative Common license. The texts are divided into 15 subcorpuses (blogs, science, stenographic recordings, etc.). WUT Relations Between Sentences Corpus

    No full text
WUT Relations Between Sentences Corpus contains 2827 pairs of related sentences. Relationships are derived from Cross-document Structure Theory (CST), which enables multi-document summarization through identification of cross-document rhetorical relationships within a cluster of related documents. Every relation was marked by at least 3 annotators

    WordnetLoom 1.68.2

WordnetLoom – is an wordnet editor application built for the needs of the construction of a the largest Polish wordnet called plWordNet. WordnetLoom provides two means of interaction: a form-based, implemented initially, and a visual, graph-based introduced recently. The visual, graph-based interactive presentation of the wordnet structure enables browsing and its direct editing on the structure of lexico-semantic relations and synsets. WordnetLooms works in a distributed environment, i.e. several linguists can work simulanuously from different sites on the same central database

In this paper, we present methods of extraction of multi-word lexical units (MWLUs) from large text corpora and their description in plWordNet 3.0. MWLUs are filtered from collocations of the structural type Noun+Adjective (NA)

Adverbs in plWordNet: Theory and Implementation

    Get PDF
Adverbs are seldom well represented in wordnets. Princeton WordNet, for example, derives from adjectives practically all its adverbs and whatever involvement they have. GermaNet stays away from this part of speech. Adverbs in plWordNet will be emphatically present in all their semantic and syntactic distinctness. We briefly discuss the linguistic background of the lexical system of Polish adverbs. We describe an automated generator of accurate candidate adverbs, and introduce the lexicographic procedures which will ensure high consistency of wordnet editors’ decisions about adverbs

DG-POLFIE: POLFIE and Malt-based syntactic parser

    No full text
DG-POLFIE is a prototypical parser that tries to merge parse fragments generated by POLFIE using Polish Dependency Parser DG-POLFIE aims to improve the coverage of the POLFIE parser (i.e. the percentage of sentences with at least one analysis). In order to increase the number of Polish sentences and constructions that could be parsed with the POLFIE-based parser, DG-POLFIE defines some rules that use depenency structure to build full parse from the FRAGMENTS provided by POLFIE
