Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC)
The Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC) is an IQ test for children 6-17 years of age to determine general intelligence. It generates a full scale IQ (formerly known as an intelligence quotient or IQ score) that represents a child's general intellectual ability. The most common primary index scores are the Verbal Comprehension Index, the Visual Spatial Index, the Fluid Reasoning Index, the Working Memory Index, and the Processing Speed Index. These indices represent a child's abilities in discrete cognitive domains. Five ancillary composite scores can be derived from various combinations of primary or primary and secondary subtests. Reading Span Task (RST)
The reading span task (RST) assesses memory span. The original RST required participants to read series of unconnected sentences aloud and to remember the final word of each sentence of a series (grouped according to the total number of sentences). With each sentence presented on a card, participants were cued to recall the memorized end-of-sentence words in their original order by a blank card at the end of a series. The number of sentences of a series was incrementally increased until a participant's reading span, or the maximum number of final words correctly recalled, was found
Self-Ordered Pointing Task (SOPT)
The Self-Ordered Pointing Task (SOPT) is a validated assessment of working memory. In the task, participants are presented with a set of pictures and instructed to select a different picture until all of the pictures have been selected once. Every time that participants select a picture, the order of all pictures is completely changed and the participants cannot select the same location twice in a row. The pictures can be concrete or abstract. The task includes four blocks that each consist of nine or twelve concrete or abstract pictures

Gaze Cueing experiment
The Gaze Cuing experiment is an eye-tracking task that measures a participant's sensitivity to another person's gaze direction as a possible cue to predict the location of a next event. Sensitivity to gaze direction is taken as a marker of social competence. In the Social Gaze Task, children see a face with direct gaze, followed by an eye gaze shift to one side, followed by a small object (target) that appears on the cued side or the opposite side. Eye movements are recorded using a Tobii TX300 eye tracker at 300 Hz frequency. The dependent variable is the latency with which the child detects the target. Generally, people detect targets on the cued side faster than targets on the opposite side. The reaction time differences between cued and opposite-side targets have been taken to reflect better social skill
