At present, the following main technological factors are controlled and automatically adjusted in carding machines: thread tension in zones, elongation, pressure of compression shafts, temperature in the drying part of the carding frame, carding level in the hopper, moisture content of carded yarn, weaving weight the density of the package at the bottom. Purification Of The Settling Chamber Of A Pumping Station From Silt Sediments Using A Slurry Pump
This paper discusses one of the operational challenges faced by pumping station forechambers during exploitation: the cleaning of silt deposits from the bottom of the structures. A scheme for a silt cleaning device designed to remove silt deposits from the bottom of the forechamber using a slurry pump is proposed. The device transports the silt mixture through the pumping station's pressure pipeline to an upper reservoir, from where it is then distributed to irrigation fields. A methodology has been developed to determine the key pressure-water consumption parameters and the energy performance indicators of the silt cleaning device. Calculations performed using this methodology indicate that when this device is used to clean silt deposits in the forechamber, the total energy consumption of the pumping station is only 0.051% for cleaning 30 cubic meters of silt

Dietary habits of every human impact her or his health. The society-wide situation with regard to the dietary habits is not positive according to the existent surveys, and the same applies to the college students. This paper goal is to identify the dietary habits frequented among the college students at a selected institution (a case study); evaluate the habits; and, propose actions for the institution under review, aimed to positively influence their students’ dietary habits. The paper has been designed as a case study, while the data has been obtained from the evaluation of a quantitative survey (based on an executed questionnaire survey) including the total of n = 219 college students of the selected educational institution. As revealed by the results, there is a statistically significant difference in the students’ dietary habits according to gender and age category
