The Advantages Of Nuclear Energy Over Other Energy Sources

This article provides information on the advantages of nuclear energy over other energy sources and its economic efficiency. It discusses the energy released during the fission of uranium and thorium isotopes in nuclear reactors, the formation of these isotopes, the operating principles of nuclear reactors, the use of uranium and plutonium as fuel, the processes of producing these isotopes, and the difference and superiority of the energy released from the fission of uranium-235 nuclei compared to energy obtained via chemical means. Furthermore, the equivalence of energy released in nuclear reactions and in thermonuclear fusion reactions is also addressed. Some research on the safety issues of nuclear energy is included. In addition, the prospects for nuclear energy in Uzbekistan are discussed, along with relevant safety issues

Impact Of Blockchain Technologies On State And Municipal Services: International Experience And Adaptation Prospects

In the context of rapid digitalization of public administration, increasing attention is being paid to innovative technologies that can ensure transparency, security, and efficiency in the delivery of public services. One of the most promising technologies is blockchain, which possesses unique characteristics such as decentralized architecture, immutability of data, a high level of trust, and robust information security. This paper explores the international experience of implementing blockchain-based solutions in government and municipal services, using the cases of Estonia, Georgia, the United Arab Emirates, Sweden, and Brazil. The study analyzes the main application areas of the technology, including land and civil registries, e-voting, management of social benefits, and public budget oversight. Particular attention is given to the prospects for adapting these practices in transition economies. The findings underscore the strategic importance of blockchain as a tool for enhancing the effectiveness of public governance, strengthening citizen trust, and optimizing administrative processes. The results can be used in the formulation of national digital strategies in countries with a similar level of digital maturity

This paper examines strategies for identifying, conserving and optimising resource use in industrial enterprises. The study focuses on approaches to conserving energy, raw materials and waste in manufacturing, processing and heavy industries, and integrated conservation systems yield an average increase in resource efficiency of 23–38% compared to isolated interventions, with significant differences across industrial sector

Disinfection Of Drinking Water From E.Coli And Tmc Using A Combined Ultraviolet And Ultrasound Device

In this study, a combined ultraviolet (UV) and ultrasound (US) device was proposed for rapid and stable disinfection of drinking water from Escherichia coli and total microbial count (TMC). Experiments were conducted in a flow-through reactor in the range of US (40 kHz; 2.27 W/cm²; 0.28 s) and UV (≈26.7 W/m²; lamp depth 3.6 cm; 4.58 s) parameters. It was observed that the cavitation effects of US weakened cell walls and enhanced the damaging effect of UV radiation at the DNA level; as a result, E. coli and TMC were sharply reduced, and the microbiological stability of water (the period before regrowth) was significantly extended compared to single methods. Maintaining the UV intensity around ~28–30 W/m² and placing the lamp close to the water surface increased the efficiency; in US, frequencies close to 40 kHz gave the best results. The combined mode provided high disinfection efficiency and energy efficiency with low contact time; this creates a convenient platform for practical implementation in small and medium-capacity drinking water systems

The Effect Of Annealing On The Crystal Structure Of The Silicon Surface Doped With Nickel Ions

The paper presents the results of a study of the distribution profiles of implanted nickel atoms in silicon as a function of the radiation dose and the annealing temperature using the Rutherford backscattering spectrometry technique (RBS). The effects of thermal annealing on the distribution of nickel and in particular oxygen are studied. It has been proven that under certain conditions of heat treatment and radiation doses, the so-called epitaxial silicides are formed on the surface of a single crystal, which can play the role of conductive layers or metallic coatings. The possibility of using the RBS technique for analyzing both the concentration distribution of doping impurities and the interaction of impurities is argued

Reliability And Operational Performance Indicators Of Expanded Functional Capability Electromagnetic Current Converters

In general, reliability refers to the ability of an object (equipment, system components) to perform its designated functions within a specified volume and time under the observed conditions while maintaining its operational state within the intervals specified in normative document
