A METHOD FOR PREPARING TEETH WITH INCREASED ATTEARANCE FOR RESTORATION

    No full text
Treating excessive tooth wear is a challenging task for dentists. This condition not only causes aesthetic problems and a loss of lower facial height, but also leads to functional disorders of the temporomandibular joint, tooth hypersensitivity, and malocclusion. Traditional orthopedic treatment involves fabricating onlays and crowns to cover worn teeth. The most conservative orthopedic treatment method is adhesively bonded ceramic veneers. However, the use of ceramic veneers is expensive, and if cracks or fractures develop in the long term, ceramic microprostheses cannot be repaired. Recently, much attention has been paid in medical literature to the therapeutic method of restoring teeth with excessive wear using direct composite restorations, which requires precise determination of the required space

ENGINEERING EDUCATION AND THE SCIENTIFIC FOUNDATIONS OF DEVELOPING PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE

    No full text
Engineering education is undergoing rapid transformation due to the increasing complexity of technological systems, the diversification of industrial requirements, and the shift toward competency-based learning models. Developing professional competence has become a central priority for preparing future engineers capable of solving practical problems, making informed decisions, and adapting to real production environments. This article examines the scientific foundations of shaping professional competence in engineering education, focusing on theoretical, methodological, psychological, and didactic principles that determine the structure, mechanisms, and assessment of competence formation

DEVELOPING NUMBER AND DATE OF SORGHUM IN THE CONDITION OF SYRDARYA PROVINCE

    No full text
It is no secret that the rapid land reclamation, i.e., their salinization and depletion of irrigation water reserves, will turn Uzbekistan into the most difficult region of the arid region in the coming years. Now it is appropriate to conduct large-scale practical and scientific research on improving the land reclamation state of soils and saving irrigation water reserves in the republic's agriculture (4, 5, 10). During the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Syrdarya region in May 2017 and April 2018, the "Bek Cluster" enterprise was established, where it is planned to grow 80 thousand tons of fodder crops. In order to achieve the specific task set out above, the cultivation of fodder crops in the conditions of the Syrdarya province is an urgent issue (1)

TEACHING INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATION IN THE CLASSROOM

    No full text
Teaching intercultural communication is incredibly imperative for several reasons, especially in today’s globalized world. As societies become more interconnected, understanding how people from different cultural backgrounds communicate is essential in fostering effective relationships and communication. Thus, teaching intercultural communication in a classroom requires practical applications, and interactive activities to engage students and help them understand cultural differences in communication

A DATA-DRIVEN DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR PREDICTING AND PREVENTING WARP YARN BREAKAGE

    No full text
Warp yarn breakage is a major disruptor in weaving, causing costly downtime and quality issues. This paper presents a data-driven Decision Support System (DSS) designed to predict and prevent warp breaks. The system continuously collects real-time data on yarn tension, vibration, and ambient conditions (humidity, temperature). Using a ensemble machine learning model, it analyzes this data to identify patterns preceding a break and generates proactive alerts. Implemented in an industrial setting, the DSS successfully predicted 85% of breaks with a 5-minute lead time, allowing for preventive intervention. This resulted in a 30% reduction in unplanned stoppages and a 7% increase in production output, demonstrating the power of predictive analytics in weaving optimization

CHALLENGES OF PROVIDING SOLUTIONS TO MODERN ISSUES IN ISLAMIC LAW

    No full text
The article explores the multifaceted challenges of addressing modern issues within Islamic law (Sharia), emphasizing the dynamic interplay between tradition and contemporary societal demands. Islamic law, rooted in the Quran and Hadith, faces significant hurdles in adapting to rapid technological advancements, evolving gender norms, and globalization, which often create friction with traditional interpretations. The study highlights the necessity of innovative methodologies, such as *istinbāṭ al-ahkām* (legal reasoning) and *Qawāid Fiqhiyyah* (legal maxims), to reconcile Sharia principles with modern realities like cryptocurrency, digital governance, and social justice philanthropy. Case studies from Indonesia, Egypt, and Turkey illustrate efforts to reform Islamic legal frameworks, while socio-political factors, sectarian divisions, and the role of scholars in *ijtihad* (independent reasoning) are critically examined. The article underscores the importance of comparative jurisprudence, interdisciplinary dialogue, and inclusive reforms to ensure Islamic law remains relevant and equitable in a globalized world

THE ISSUE OF WOMEN AND GIRLS IN THE TURKESTAN PRESS

    No full text
This article analyzes coverage of women's issues in the Turkestan press and how this topic was used to implement the colonial policies of Tsarist Russia and the subsequent Bolshevik government. The primary sources used are articles in the Turkestan News, the Turkestan Regional Newspapers, and other Jadid and Soviet publications, as well as archival materials. It is argued that after the establishment of Soviet power, women's legal equality was proclaimed by the Constitution and decrees. However, in practice, this policy served to separate women from their families and convert them into the workforce in the interests of "socialist construction.

TRANSLATION AS A SEMIOTIC INSTRUMENT: A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF CHULPAN’S ORIGINALS AND THEIR TRANSLATIONS

    No full text
This article explores the intersection of translation and semiotics, emphasizing the evolution of translation studies from marginalization during the structuralist era to its current interdisciplinary relevance. It highlights the shift from form-centered linguistics to an approach that includes meaning, context, and communication. Drawing on semiotic theories and translation analysis, particularly the works of Roman Jakobson and Umberto Eco, the paper demonstrates how translation functions not only as a linguistic operation but also as a semiotic process of interpretation and cultural negotiation.Through comparative analysis of original texts by Abdulhamid Chulpan and their translations into English, the study uncovers implicit meanings and explores how translated versions reshape the language world. The research discusses the challenges of equivalence, including semantic loss, compensation, and cultural adaptation, and considers adequacy from semantic, stylistic, and functional perspectives. The findings reveal how translation bridges linguistic systems and illuminates the translator’s role in cultural transformation
