    Dataset from the article by T. Armand, S. Boissinot, A. Maia-Grondard, P. Hugueney, V. Brault, and Q. Chesnais entitled "Beet chlorosis virus infection mitigates aphid-induced plant defenses and improves plant acceptability to aphid vectors" from CASDAR project (grant number C-2019-01). In this study, we demonstrate that BChV infection suppresses sugar beet defenses induced by aphid pre-infestation, enhancing plant acceptability for aphids. Specifically, gene expression analyses revealed a downregulation of the aphid-induced ethylene pathway in infected plants, along with alterations in the salicylic acid pathway that may benefit aphids. Metabolic profiling highlighted reduced levels of phenolic acids, including cinnamic and coumaric acids, in virus-infected plants which likely contribute to increased plant acceptability by aphids

    In the context of innovative medicine, data collection and management are paramount. The need of training is crucial to prepare future engineers and researchers to help and find consistent values and build substitute materials that are still in progress for the large variety of soft biological tissues. Through various lectures, graduate students have been encouraged to pay attention to the complex behaviour of soft biological tissues but practical applications are rarely described and this work aims to fill this lack. Therefore, a short practical session was designed combining most of the phenomena. Thanks to spherical compression tests as well as sample preparations in different environments, it allows to: i) point difficulties that students and future biomedical engineers might encounter, ii) show how computational tools are powerful to get an interpretation of experimental results and iii) provide a procedure to allow experimenting macroscopic mechanical characterisation. This dataset is the result of a classical practical laboratory session based on eight years of practice. It contains 5 force-displacement responses of chicken breast undergoing spherical compression as well as two finite element simulations of the same test in linear and non linear framework. It is a good way to introduce graduate students to biomechanical characterisation of soft biological samples through open science resources, using a theoretical model combined to computational tools

    The dataset provides the 16S metagenetic data of sequencing of 310 Label Rouge broiler carcass samples, collected in a French slaughterhouse between 2023 and 2024. It includes 16S rRNA metabarcoding data from broiler carcass rinses before and after 7 days of storage at 4°C. Amplicons from the region V3-V4 of 16S rRNA were sequenced with Illumina MiSeq technology. The dataset also includes Campylobacter et Total Mesophilic Aerobic flora quantification on agar plates before and after refrigerated storage. The data were collected to identify bacterial species that correlate positively or negatively with Campylobacter on chicken meat
