Postal Code Federal Riding File [Canada], March 2023, Census of Canada 2021

    No full text
The Postal Codes by Federal Ridings File (PCFRF) is a digital file which provides a link between the six- character postal code and Canada’s federal electoral districts (which are also known as federal ridings). Elections Canada defines a federal electoral district (FED) as any place or territorial area entitled to return a Member of Parliament (MP) to serve in the House of Commons. Federal electoral district legal limits and descriptions are the responsibility of the Chief Electoral Officer, and are usually revised every ten years after the results of the decennial census. There are 338 FEDs in the 2013 Representation Order, the most recent revision of the federal electoral districts limits. Some postal codes straddle one or more FED boundaries. The ‘unique link’ variable indicates if the postal code is linked to one or more FEDs. Users often link the postal code in their data set to the FED in the PCFRF. When performing this link, users should be aware that the postal code in their data set may represent a mailing address used by a person, not necessarily where the person actually resides. Similarly, a postal code in a business-based mailing address may not necessarily indicate where the business activity took place. The reference date for postal codes contained in the PCFRF is the same date as the postal codes contained in the Postal Code Conversion File (PCCF) product released concurrently with this version of the PCFRF</p

FLiDAR and LiDAR data near Trial Island

    No full text
The data files contain 10-minute mean measurement data (one file per day) from a FLiDAR and LiDAR near Trial Island. The FLiDAR files are indicated by the handle Wind10_1182, while the LiDAR files are indicated by the handle Wind10_793. The files include header information in the 3rd row. The FLiDAR measures in the heights 12,40,60,80,100,120,130,140,150,180,200 m , while the LiDAR measures in the heights of 47,49,60,80,100,120,130,140,150,180,200 m above sea level

Stable isotope signatures and locations of Grizzly Bears (Ursus arctos) in British Columbia

Grizzly Bear Isotope data from Van Elslander et al. 2025. As a part of Van Elslander et al. 2025, we analyzed the stable isotope ratios of carbon and nitrogen in over 2500 guard hairs from 1804 grizzly bears (1059 males, 729 females, 16 sex unidentified) sampled from across B.C. Approximately 900 of these hairs were shared by other researchers who wish to keep their data private. The remaining 1621 samples are included here. 593 bears were analyzed specifically for this study at the University of Ottawa Ján Veizer Stable Isotope Laboratory. Samples from 567 bears from this study were collected as a part of B.C.’s Compulsory Inspection database, while the remaining 68 were collected as a part of DNA-based population inventories. The remaining data were provided by other researchers and had been previously analyzed for carbon and nitrogen stable isotope ratios. Most of these data were collected using non-invasive hair sampling and identified to sex and individual using genetic techniques. Analytical methods for data shared by other researchers are available in their associated publications. See README.txt for a full list of citations

    Beep-Beep SIM Data

    No full text
This is the dataset has two tabs in the spreadsheet. The first tab is for the Beep-Beep SIM pilot, and the second tab has student ratings of the Beep-Beep SIM curriculum when it was implemented from 2019-2023. For the Beep-Beep SIM pilot, after medical students completed the program, they reflected upon their pre-/post-session confidence on several learning objectives. They were to rate on a scale from 1-5 (1=no confidence, 3=neutral, 5=strong confidence). For student ratings, students rated the session on a scale from 1-5 (1=poor, 2=fair, 3=good, 4=very good, 5=excellent). Students rated both in-person and virtually offered sessions

IPRPAS: A Dataset of Resembling Physical Adversarial Samples to Assess Object Detection in Intelligent Vehicles

    No full text
The IPRPAS dataset is designed to evaluate Object Detection Models (ODMs) against Resembling Physical Adversarial Samples (RPAS). We present Images and Point Clouds of Resembling Physical Adversarial Samples (IPRPAS), a collection of annotated paired images and point clouds of printed, displayed, or projected RPASs in both indoor and outdoor scenarios. IPRPAS includes various common driving objects such as cars, traffic signs, traffic lights, and persons under different weather conditions, positions, distances, lighting conditions, and viewing angles. The dataset contains images from both left and right cameras, 3D point clouds in multiple formats (.pcd, .bin, .ply), object labels, and calibration files

Winds, clouds, water, paths and phases of the moon in Mehri

    No full text
This dataset contains video and audio recordings produced in Dhofar between 2023 and 2025. The recordings relate to Mehri descriptions of winds, clouds, bodies of water, phases of the moon and paths. They are accompanied by ELAN files with transcriptions, translations and annotations for communicative gesture. The transcriptions, translations and annotations were produced by Janet Watson in collaboration with Sulaiman al-Mahri. To access the ELAN files, you need to download the freely accessible ELAN for Linguistics software
