Stress has been recognized as a major challenge to not only individualmental and physical health but also to organizationalhealth (ILO 1986). It may cripple organizational growth and productivity.Though numerous studies examine the relationship ofstress with other individual level factors including personality, the relationship of the five factor model of personality and roleefficacy with stress has been studied much less, especially in Asiancountries.
