Pride in Work and Job Embeddedness among the frontline Employees in Hotel Industry
Success of service industries, especially the hotel industry, is mostdependent on employees’ perceptions of work-life balance andthe subsequent behaviour of the employees. Since the turnoverrate and dissatisfaction of employees are high in the hotel industry,it is important to identify the factors that will assist the hotels innurturing a favourable work environment for the employees,thereby facilitating their retention.The present study evaluatedthe Pride-in-Work experienced by employees of different hotelsas a factor affecting their Job Embeddedness. A descriptive studywas conducted using self-administered questionnaires among 341frontline employees of different five-star and five-star deluxehotels of Bengaluru. The results exhibited a significant impact of Pride-in-Work on Job Embeddedness as well as significantdifferences in perceptions of Pride-in-Work and Job Embeddeness based on demographic factors of the employees

Individual and InstitutionalInvestors are currently more hesitant about funds allocation.This studydiscusses the green project bonds as an alternativeway of financing along with discussingthe scope and challengesof the same on a global level.Green Bondscan be measuredas asset-backed options tied to specific green infrastructureprojects but till date have most commonly been issued inform of “use-of-proceeds” bonds for raising capital to be allocatedacross a portfolio of green projects
Risk and Volatility of Indian and Chinese stock markets
The volatility of a return does not necessarily have to equatewith its risk, also an investment which is more volatile does notalways mean it is riskier in the long term. The study aimed atmeasuring risk and volatility of Indian and Chinese stock marketindices for the period 01/01/1992 to 1/12/2015. Among Chineseindices, Shenzhen composite is found to be a risky one with thehighest coefficient and significant p-value. The GARCH (1, 1)reveals that all the variables in the GARCH (1, 1) reported highsignificance which articulates the influence of current volatility by the past volatility of all the Indian and Chinese stock market
