Validitas bahan ajar pengayaan IPA SMP/MTs berbasis riset perilaku makan monyet ekor panjang (Macaca fascicularis, Raffles) di hutan karet
The enriched teaching-material is transferred to the students completing the lesson and exceeding the criteria of minimum compliment, so the students are able to develop their potential optimally. The research aimed to validate the teaching-material which was made based on the research of long-tailed macaque’s (Macaca fascicularis) eating behaviour in the rubber forest. This material was teached to the students of Class VII, SMP/MTs. Validation was carried out by 3 experts of University of Lambung Mangkurat in two replications, 2 partner teachers representing the users, and 4 seventh-grade students of SMPS Ikhwanul Muslimin, Balangan District, South Kalimantan Province. The students fulfilled the criteria of minimum compliment. Components validated by experts and partner teachers consisted of content, presentation, and linguistic, but by students consisted of display, presentation, and benefit. After the second validity replication by the experts, the score of teaching material was categorized valid, applicable, and no revision. The partner teachers gave the same criteria as the experts did. Finally, the students absolutely agreed to the material

KAJIAN TOPONIM DATA UTAMA PULAU-PULAU KECIL KECAMATAN PULAU SEMBILAN, KABU PATEN KOTABARU PROVINSI KALIMANTAN SELATAN
Aims of research were: (1) stoctdaking and identify data of isles, accuratly and completty in South Kalimantan, step by step, (2) knowing of name, position, and also island potency through by survey of toponim island give elementary information about island's enableness, (3) fact or potency data and social condition of economics, ecosystem, and issue/problems of such lsles. Method used is survey of toponim, supported by basic data observation of sekunder (Map Of Sea, Aasetir lsland, Data lsland of local tocat govemment). Spasial analysis of main data conducted to the name of and island position, writing of name of generic and specific of island; relate guidance survey istands toponim in tndonesia, and procedure setlement of witing according to Technical Refetence Book of PPNG Dirjen PUOD Depdagi-Bakosurtanal, and also sintesis analysis. Early data of District of Putau sembilan stocktaking 13 isles, but result of res;arch sh6w of activry of stocktaking were 16 isles. There are proposal change of writing of isle name which are stocktaking at result of research compared to early data, that is Denawan become Danawan island, Pemalikan become Pamalikan, Matasirih become Matasiri, lsland of Adan/lAdang Selatan become Batu Selatan island, Batu Barat island become Batu Tengah islands. Islands which have never been mapped in early data covering Dare, Ondong, Janda, and Payung-Payungan Kecil island. Isles which have dweller coveing Marabatuan, Maradapan dan Matasirih islands. lsles dweft by some of small society, because duty as custodian of turtle egg area and others, covering Danawan, Pamatikan, Payung-Payungan islands. lsle dwelt seasonally was Kalambau island. Isles which not dwelter covering Batu Tengah, Sarang, Payung-payungan Kecil, Batu Utara, Batu Setatan, Janda, Ondong, Dare, and Kunyit islands
Sistem Pendingin Adsorpsi dengan Single Bed Adsorber
Sistem Pendingin adsorpsi adalah salah satu alternatif sistem pendingin yang lebih ramah terhadap lingkungan, disamping tidak menyebabkan terjadinya kerusakan lapisan ozon, tidak menyebabkan terjadinya pemanasan global juga mengkonsumsi energi yang tidak terlalu besar dan bahkan dapat menggunakan energi matahari sebagai sumber energinya atau energi dari gas buang motor bakar. Sistem pendingin adsorpsi menggunakan kompresor termik berupa generator adsorber untuk memompa refrigeran yang energinya dapat diperoleh dari energi surya atau panas gas buang, mengingat bahwa generator adsorber dapat bekerja pada rentang temperatur 50oC – 70oC. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui unjuk kerja sistem pendingin adsorpsi single bed adsorber dimana karbon aktif digunakan sebagai adsorber dan methanol sebagai adsorbate pasangannya. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mensuplai air yang dipanaskan pada temperature 90oC pada proses kondensasi dengan laju aliran air 0,016 kg/s menghasilkan Coefficient of Performance (COP) maksimum adalah 0.099.

Peranan Lembaga Kursus Dalam Pemberdayaan Masyarakat di Kabupaten Balangan
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis kursus yang diselenggarakan di Kabupaten Balangan dan mengetahui peran lembaga kursus dalam memberdayakan masyarakat di Kabupaten Balangan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan mulai bulan Juli 2012 dan berakhir pada bulan Nopember 2012 di empat kecamatan yaitu kecamatan Paringin, Lampihong, Juai dan Batu Mandi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti sendi yang menjadi instrumen utama yang turun ke lapangan serta berusaha sendiri mengumpulkan informasi baik melalui observasi, wawancara maupun dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya dianalisis dengan teknis analisis model interaktif dari Miles dan Huberman. Jenis kursus yang diselenggarakan di Kabupaten Balangan adalah komputer, mengemudi dan Bahasa Inggris. Upaya yang dilakukan oleh lembaga kursus dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat adalah memberikan keringanan biaya, memperpanjang waktu kursus dengan tidak dipungut biaya tambahan, memberikan pilihan waktu sesuai dengan kesibukan peserta kursus dan menyelenggarakan kursus secara gratis
PENGGUNAAN REGRESI KUADRAT TERKECIL PARSIAL (PLS) UNTUK MENGATASI KOLINIERITAS DAN PEMANFAATANNYA UNTUK PREDIKSI CURAH HUJAN TIPE MONSON BERDASARKAN DATA GCM (Global Circulation Model)
Prediction of parameter in multiple regression analysis is an interesting topic of some researches. This can be due to some problems that may rise in regression,and one of these is a colinierty problem. The method usually used to solve this problem is Principle Component Regression (PCR), Ridge
Regression, and Partial Least Square (PLS). Differ from PCR
nd Ridge Regression, regression coefficient in the PLS is obtained iteratively and doesn’t have a closed formula to get a variant of regression coefficient. GCM data were obtained by using the grade ranged from v2272 – v2727 and
the rainfall data from Kotabaru BMKG Station collected from 1996 – 2001. These data were then used as a model, whereas the data collected in 2001 was used to validate the model. All calculation and figures were made by using Minitab software 1412 version and Microsoft Excel 2003. Estimation with PLS algorithm to various iteration resulted in PRESS and R 2 values. Variant of X variable with 3 components of model could explain a 66.9% of variant of dependent variables. Minimum PRESS with the value of 5.714.118 was reached in the third iteration with the highest prediction of R 2 value as 7%.
Regression analysis using PLS method based on GCM and rainfall data or is known as Statistical Downscaling, resulted in a value prediction of a coefficient regression in the third iteration. This model has been validated and can be used to predict rainfall during the ne xt 12 months. It can conclude that the optimum PLS model using GCM data can be used to predict a local climate , whereas as a suggestion is that we still need to see the relation between rainfall variable and seasonal period, so that it can be used to predict every period of event, as in case of DJF periode (Dec, Jan, and Peb).

TAMAN KUPU-KUPU SULTAN ADAM DI BANJARBARU
Perancangan Taman Kupu-kupu Sultan Adam yang ada di Banjarbaru ini dilatarbelakangi kurangnya fasilitas yang mendukung kegiatan belajar masyarakat untuk melestarikan hewan ini. Permasalahan dalam perancangan ini adalah bagaimana merancang Taman Kupu-kupu Sultan Adam yang sesuai dengan habitat dan bentuk dari kupu-kupu itu sendiri, Metode perancangan yang digunakan dalam perancangan Taman Kupu-kupu Sultan Adam di Banjarbaru yaitu metode metafora. Rancangannya berupa massa majemuk dengan menggunakan bentuk dasar dari kupu-kupu. Bentuk tersebut juga disesuaikan dengan karakter dari kupu-kupu.
