Abstract
This study was aimed to analyze the welfare indicators of fishermen’s household around coal mining and outside
the coal mining activities. The welfare indicators used in this study were education, health, and house conditions.
The study site was Muara Kintap, Kintap district, and while Bawah Layung, Kurau district was used as
comparing village. Results showed that the education level of fishermen’s families in Muara Kintap was lower
than those in Tanah Laut regency in general, but not significantly different from those in Bawah Layung, Kurau
regency. The health condition in Muara Kintap was good based on the use of health personnel in baby birth and
breastfeeding. The houses were, in general, small and concentrated around the coast and river mouth near the
mooring site. Sanitation facilities, such as washroom and clean water source, were very limited, and thus, 74% of
the fishermen’s households had to buy bottled and refilled water for drinking water
Perkembangan Motorik Anak Usia 5 – 6 Tahun di TK Islam Selaras Jakarta Timur
No full textPhysical development is considered as one of the important things to learn, since it can directly or indirectly affect children behaviors in their daily life. Thus, therefore this research is conducted and is aimed at knowing motoric development of children in age between 5-6 years old at Islamic Kindergarten (TK Islam) Selaras, Jakarta Timur. This is a descriptive qualitative research and using observation instrument which is developed based on the act of the Ministry of National Education, Number 58 Year 2009, about the Standard of Young Learners Education, specifically the motoric development of children age 5-6 years old. The study showed that the motoric development of children age 5-6 years old at the TK Islam Selaras, Jakarta Timur is relatively evolved as expected, this is based on the data that 5 of 6 children are developed very well in their rough motoric, and only a kid is developed as expected. While the smooth motoric development, it is found out that 3 kids are developed very well, while 3 others are
developed as expected. The study also recommends the school to increase more the program which stimulates smooth motoric development of children, as well as providing opportunities for children to develop their smooth motoric skills, especially in terms of drawing, drawing round environment, and cutting patterns. Parents are also expected to provide more opportunities for children to explore a variety of activities to stimulate children's motoric development, especially smooth motoric development, as well as providing guidance to the children in drawing, cutting out the pattern, and buttoning clothes at home.

PENGARUH LINGKUNGAN SOSIAL TERHADAP KECENDERUNGAN PERILAKU MENGKONSUMSI NAPZA PADA REMAJA DI WILAYAH KAYUTANGI BANJARMASIN
No full textTujuan penelitian ini untuk mengethui apakah ada pengaruh lingkngan sosial terhadap kecenderungan perilaku mengkonsumsi napza pada remaja di wilayah Kayutangi Banjarmasin, berapa besar pengaruhnya dan bagaimana kecenderungan perilaku mengkonsumsi napza pada remaja tersebut.
Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan sampel sebanyak 143 orang remaja di wilayah Kayutangi Banjarmasin, di mana daerah kayutangi adalah merupakan wilayah dekat dengan berbagai kampus sehingga terdapat banyak remaja yang tinggal di daerah ini. Metode analisa data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisa regresi dengan bantuan program komputer SPSS (Statistical Program for Social Science).
Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh lingkungan sosial terhadap kecenderungan perilaku mengkonsumsi Napza pada remaja di wilayah Kayutangi Banjarmasin sebesar 15% dengan taraf signifikansi 0,000 dan kecenderungan perilaku mengkonsumsi napza tergolong rendah
ANALISIS PERPINDAHAN PANAS DAN EFISIENSI EFEKTIF HIGH PRESSURE HEATER (HPH) DI PLTU ASAM-ASAM
No full textPenukar panas sangat luas dipakai dalam dunia industri seperti, pembangkit listrik, kilang minyak, pabrik kimia maupun petrokimia, industri gas alam, refrigerasi, dan lain sebagainya. Salah satu contoh dari alat penukar panas yang terdapat pada industri pembangkit listrik adalah High Pressure Heater (HPH), dimana uap panas hasil buangan turbin dimanfaatkan sebagai pemanas air umpan sebelum masuk ke boiler. Beberapa tipe penukar panas yang sering digunakan yaitu : Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger, dan Double Pipe Heat Exchanger. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui pada bagian shell koefisien perpindahan panas shell tertinggi yaitu sebesar 441,8 Btu/jam.ft2.oF pada suhu 588,2 oF, dan koefisien perpindahan panas shell terendah yaitu sebesar 431,38 Btu/jam.ft2.oF pada suhu 568,4 oF. Pada bagian tube, diketahui koefisien perpindahan panas tube tertinggi yaitu sebesar 7.319,05 Btu/jam.ft2.oF pada suhu 360,5 oF, dan koefisien perpindahan panas tube terendah yaitu sebesar 7113,22 Btu/jam.ft2.oF pada suhu 386,6 oF. Pada bulan Juli 2013 efisiensi efektif tertinggi yang dicapai heat exchanger yaitu sebesar 53,92 %, dan efisiensi efektif terendah yaitu sebesar 42,59 % dengan rata-rata efisiensi 47,77 % dalam sebulannya.

Selective hydrogenation of biomass-derived furfural over supported Ni3Sn2 alloy: Role of supports Rodiansono1a)*,
No full textA highly active and selective hydrogenation of biomass-derived furfural into furfuryl alcohol was achieved using supported single phase Ni3Sn2 alloy catalysts. Various supports such as active carbon (AC), -Al2O3, Al(OH)3, ZnO, TiO2, ZrO2, MgO, Li-TN, and SiO2 have been employed in order to understand the role of the support on the formation of Ni3Sn2 alloy phase and its catalytic performance. Supported Ni3Sn2 alloy catalysts were synthesised via a simple hydrothermal treatment of the mixture of aqueous solution of nickel chloride hexahydrate and ethanol solution of tin (II) chloride dihydrate in presence of ethylene glycol at 423 K for 24 h followed by H2 treatment at 673 K for 1.5 h, then characterised by using ICP-AES, XRD, H2- and N2-adsorption. XRD profiles of samples showed that the Ni3Sn2 alloy phases are readily formed during hydrothermal processes and become clearly observed at 2 = 43-44o after H2 treatment. The presence of Ni3Sn2 alloy species that dispersed on the supports is believed to play a key role in highly active and selective hydrogenation of biomass-derived furfural towards furfuryl alcohol. Ni3Sn2 on TiO2 and ZnO supports exhibited much lower reaction temperature to achieved >99% yield of furfuryl alcohol product compared with other supports. The effects of loading amount of Ni-Sn, reaction conditions (temperature and time profile) on the activity and selectivity towards the desired product are systematically discussed

No full textThis paper reports on an initiative that discovers the potentials of digital interactive books or digital storytelling in developing and inculcating interpersonal skills among children. The rationale for such initiative is to help designing technology for good deeds for the children, who are the future leaders, because they are very much engaged with technologies. Hence, this paper aims at discussing the potentials of digital story-telling in developing the interpersonal skills among children. To achieve that, first, a prototype was designed, and then let users to experience it. Data were collected through observation and interview. In the end, it was initially found that the digital interactive book is potential in inculcating interpersonal skills among children.
