DropenVideo, developed in MATLAB, as an extension of Dropen, is a fully automatic frame-by-frame video analysis code for the advancing and receding contact angle determination in quasi-static wetting experiments.
DropenVideo provides comprehensive data, including contact position, diameter and angles, and related curves.
This software is developed in SEFILAB at the Department of Materials Science, University of Milano-Bicocca (UNIMIB), and is available at the UNIMIB repository (10.17632/wzchzbm58p). This repository will be updated with the new modified versions of the software.

Mapping the Emotional Homunculus with fMRI
Emotions are commonly associated with bodily sensations, e.g., boiling with anger when overwhelmed with rage. Studies have shown that emotions are related to specific body parts, suggesting that somatotopically organized cortical regions that commonly respond to somatosensory and motor experiences might be involved in the generation of emotions.
We used functional magnetic resonance imaging to investigate whether the subjective feelings of emotion are accompanied by the activation of somatotopically defined sensorimotor brain regions, thus aiming to reconstruct an “emotional homunculus”. By defining the convergence of the brain activation patterns evoked by self-generated emotions during scanning onto a sensorimotor map created on participants’ tactile and motor brain activity, we showed that all the evoked emotions activated parts of this sensorimotor map, yet with considerable overlap among different emotions. Although we could not find a highly specific segmentation of discrete emotions over sensorimotor regions, our results support an embodied experience of emotions.

IN2SIGHT_DES_UNIMIB_In vivo label-free tissue histology on chicken embryo_part2
This is the second part of the dataset contains the data used for the publication Conci, L. Sironi, E. Jacchetti, D. Panzeri, D. Inverso, R. Martinez-Vazquez, R. Osellame, M. Collini, G. Cerullo, G. Chirico, and M.T. Raimondi, “In vivo label-free tissue histology through a microstructured imaging window. ,” APL Bioeng. accepted november 2023. The detailed description of the contents can be found in the file "Dataset_chickenEmbyo.docx", readable with Word or equivalent. In brief, the whole dataset contains 6 folders, each with a set of data taken either on histological sections, stained with H&E, or in vivo in chicken Embryos with fluorescence optical microscopy, either confocal or two-photon excitation. Two folders are in the part 1 of this data set. The remaining 4 folders can be found here

Effect of race on Gaze Cueing in adults with high and low autistic traits
In an online study we investigated in White Italian adults whether individuals with high autistic traits (measured by the Autism spectrum Quotient) show reduced implicit racial bias (measured by the Implicit Association Test) and if this bias would lead to differences in the gaze cueing effect (GCE) triggered by gaze direction of faces of different races. Results showed that participants with high and low-medium autistic traits had the same ingroup bias. Interestingly, females with high autistic traits showed a significant GCE only for White faces. However, with Black cueing faces when the AQ score increased the GCE decreased or was absent. In females, higher level of autistic traits is associated with a reduced ability to orient attention toward the outgroup
OWL2ASP tool
OWL2ASP stands for Ontology Web Language to Answering Set Programming. This Java tool permits translating an OWL 2 ontology to ASP format. The output of that translation is used by the WASP solver to obtain the justifications (MUSes) of a specific consequence
