No full textThis paper examined how segmental pronunciation errors differ in reading aloud and free speech for speakers from foreign students in English. We found that consonant errors did not differ based on the speaking task, but that vowel errors in reading aloud were much more common than in free speech. We suggest that type of speaking task affects the errors made and that English spelling is a greater factor for the pronunciation of vowels than for consonants
HTML table wrapper based on table components
No full textTables are a model for data representation in the internet. Many approaches to
harvesting table data are executed by doing the copy-paste. However, this method will be a
problem if there is a huge amount of tables and they come from many internet sources. This
paper presents an approach to prepare the table area and to wrap or extract table components in
cells and property from HTML tables. This paper discusses how the approach works by testing
Algorithms 1, 2, and 3. Algorithm 1 is used to determine the actual number of columns and rows
of the table, and Algorithm 2 is used to determine the boundary line of the property. At the end of
the process of extraction, Algorithm 3 is implemented to get content of the table. Tests were
conducted at 100 tabular HTML format. The result of F-measure for Algorithm 1 is 100.00%,
for Algorithm 2 97.67% and for Algorithm 3 94.91%
THE ANALYSIS OF FACTORS AFFECTING STUDENTS’ INTEREST IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN INDRAMAYU REGION
No full textOne of the interesting phenomenas that occur in Indramayu region is the increasing number of selfemployed students allegedly influenced by several factors, namely confidence, leadership, the courage to take risks, the support of family and society, and sources of capital funds. The purpose of this study is to analyse both the internal factors, which are confidence, leadership, the courage to take risks; and the external ones, which are the support of family and society and sources of capital funds. In this study, the object population is the self-employed students in the region of Indramayu. The data gathered was primary acquired through the distribution of the questionnaires with a sample size of 100 respondents. To analyze the variables both partially and simultaneously some tests were conducted, namely the tests of validity, reliability, classical assumptions, t-test and f-test for hypotheses, and coefficient of determination (R2). The analysis technique was the multiple linear regression. The data was then processed using the SPSS 20.0 software. Based on the research results, it was concluded that the five variables have a significant effect both partially and simultaneously on the students’ interest in entrepreneurship in the region of Indramayu. It was also ascertained that confidence is the most dominant factor influencing the students’ interest in entrepreneurship.
