The authors analyze the main techniques, strengths, and limitations of VSG methodologies, highlighting the challenges of understanding visual content, temporal coherence, contextual understanding, engagement, and creativity. By exploring current methodologies, datasets, and evaluation metrics, this survey aims to provide a balanced perspective on the state of the art in VSG and propose directions for future research

No full textThis research paper presents a novel packet aggregator circuit designed for the back-end Data Acquisition (DAQ) system of the CERN CMS HGCAL detector. The proposed architecture aggregates and conveys processed data to the system's outputs while minimizing detector dead time through load-balancing techniques, ensuring a 24 Gb/s throughput. Experimental results demonstrate the feasibility of the design in handling the detector's bandwidth requirements, providing a scalable solution for the HGCAL DAQ system
