This dataset covers information from Swiss primary school principals gathered via standardized online questionnaires. It encompasses the German, French, and Italian-speaking regions of Switzerland. Focusing on school principals responsible for school sites which have second-year students (HarmoS 4), typically around 8 years old, who participated in a national large-scale assessment in 2022 (ÜGK / COFO / VECOF 2024 (HarmoS 4) Field Trial). A total of 167 school principals from 172 school sites responded to an online survey. The data comprises numeric data, including topics such as socio-demographics, school infrastructure, school culture, and digitalization within the educational environment
