Surface Groups Laos 1984-2021
Surface groups for Laos (years 1984 - 2021) as georeferenced TIF files.
Classified land cover (surface) of each pixel indicated as:
0 = built-up surfaces: surfaces with buildings of non-natural materials such as concrete, metal, and glass (e.g., residential buildings, industrial plants, roads)
1 = grassy surfaces: surfaces covered by grass or other plants with similar surface reflectance (e.g., natural grassland, city parks)
2 = surfaces with crop fields: surfaces with vegetation for agricultural purposes (e.g., hayfields, vineyards)
3 = forest-covered surfaces: surfaces covered by trees or other plants with similar surface reflectance (e.g., mixed forests, moors)
4 = surfaces without vegetation: surfaces with (almost) no vegetation or buildings (e.g., bare rock, sand plains)
5 = water surfaces: any type of water surface (e.g., rivers, lakes)
9 = missing surface classification, most likely due to cloud cover
If a TIF file for a given year within the observation period is missing, no valid satellite imagery was available for that year (e.g., due to constant cloud cover)
DISINTEGRATION: Swiss Panel Survey: Public opinion on Switzerland’s relations with Europe and the World, 2019-2022
The years between 2019 and 2022 have been a crucial period for Swiss politics, a period that has redefined the country’s role in world politics and, in particular, its relationship with the European Union. Swiss voters have been called to vote on important referendums on Swiss-EU relations such as the Limitation initiative or the Frontex referendum, while the Swiss government was negotiating a new Framework Agreement with the EU. All this happened while the UK was negotiating its withdrawal from the EU, the world was facing a global pandemic, and the Russian invasion of Ukraine brought war back in Europe. The DISINTEGRATON panel survey on Swiss-EU relations is designed to provide a better understanding of how people in Switzerland feel about the European Union and bilateral relations in the context of these multiple challenges.
The survey was fielded by the company gfs.bern and relies on its online panel. The sample in wave 1 consists of 2633 respondents (age 18 and over). Participants who answered the first wave were recontacted in the next two waves. In wave 4 and 5, only respondents who answered the previous wave were recontacted. Wave 5 also includes a refreshment sample. The final data includes survey weights based on language region, age, gender, and party affinity in order to ensure representativeness
Pink Cross Survey: Community perceptions and relationships amongst gay, bi and queer men in Switzerland
The dataset mainly focuses on community perception and relationship forms among gay, bi- sexual and queer men, but also offers other insights into their living conditions and values.
The data is accompanied by the following documents:
- A codebook in Excel format showing all the questions, variables and answering options
- A technical report by the Data Steward Service at the ZHAW regarding how the dataset was cleaned prior to publication
- A technical report on the survey and characterisation of the sample (German

- Posttests CN 7-8
- Prétests CN 10-11
- Posttests CN 10-11
- Prétests TdP 7-8
- Posttests TdP 7-8
- Prétests TdP 10-11
- Posttests TdP 10-1
