GENERALIZED CONTINUED FRACTION EXPANSION FOR EULER CONSTANT
Abstract. The theory of continued fractions is one of the oldest fields of number theory going back as far as Euclid 300 BCE. As opposed to generalized continued fractions, the theory of simple continued fractions is well-developed and finds many applications in various fields. Abstract. For the past two decades, the innovative developments in Computer Science have made the crucial beneficial influence on Human — Computer Interaction (HCI) applications. Recent advanced HCI techniques are essential elements to enhance current computer interfaces and facilitate the fundamental user-friendly interaction. It is now becoming possible to communicate with computers by using hand gesture, pose recognition, eye tracking, emotion recognition and several other developed progressive technologies. This paper investigates the direct contribution of Computer Vision (CV) applications to improving various modes of human-interaction, specialized in different prominent industries, where cumulative list of use cases includes sport, healthcare, agriculture, transportation, retail and manufacturing fields. The current work also explores the future forecast of CV applications for the next decade and identifies possible scenarios of research directions

TECHNICAL EFFICIENCY ANALYSIS OF WHEAT PRODUCERS IN KAZAKHSTAN AND RUSSIA: STOCHASTIC FRONTIER APPROACH
Abstract. Kazakhstan, Russia and Ukraine (KRU) already collectively account for about quarter of the world wheat exports and those countries have still huge unrealized production potential. This production potential can be realized if improvements in production efficiency achieved since an average yields yet are far below compared to the developed countries like US and Canada. Need for efficiency improvements are often mentioned and governments implemented several policy reforms to advance production efficiencies. However, empirical research on the effects of such policy reforms is scarce, particularly in the case of KRU countries. This study aims at filling this gap with using cross-sectional data from wheat producing farms across six regions of Kazakhstan and Russia employing a two-step stochastic frontier production analysis. Analysis suggest that the factors like an access to capital assets, farmer’s education and use of crop insurance can improve technical efficiencies of farms. On the other hand, subsidy payments from government seem to have strong negative impact on farm’s technical efficiency
Integer Prime Factorization with Deep Learning
Prime factor decomposition is a method that is used in number theory and in cryptography, as well. The security of the message depends on the difficulty of factorization. In other words, to hack the RSA system, factorization of N is needed, where N is a product of two prime (generally large) numbers. This paper analyzes the approaches which are already used to solve the problem, and proposes a new method which is expected to increase the efficiency of prime number factorization with the help of neural networks. The results in this paper can be used to develop and improve the security of cryptosystems
WORKING CAPITAL'S IMPACT ON OIL INDUSTRY PROFITABILITY
Abstract. Working capital management (WCM) is an important aspect of financial management to ensure efficient use of current assets and liabilities to balance between profitability and liquidity. Even though there is no absolute perfect answer, financial managers need to formulate a proper strategy for the working capital. WCM in the oil industry is particularly important due to the following reasons; a) There is a huge demand for its products, b) Oil and its products are key inputs for other manufacturing industries, c) Oil prices are too sensitive to political, social and economic factors, d) Crude oil extraction capacity periodically changes. Therefore, firms in this sector need to have flexible production levels so that they keep a balance between the purchase of crude oil and sales of processed oil. A multiple OLS regression method was applied to examine the effect of WCM on profitability in the Oil Industry. The data contained 231 observations from 21 oil companies listed on NYSE and KASE between 2010 and 2020 years. Findings indicated that downstream oil companies need to focus more on the management of credit policies, debt management, and fixed assets management
ISLAMIC SCHOLARS’ PERCEPTION OF COVID-19 AND ATTITUDES TOWARDS ITS VACCINATION IN NIGERIA
Abstract. Covid-19 pandemic in Nigeria and other parts of the world constitutes a serious health challenge hampering development of almost all spheres of lives. To rescue the situation, many steps have been taken globally and communally to contain the pandemic. A significant aspect of the steps towards containing the pandemic is the introduction of vaccines against the deadly disease. However, the issue of vaccination against the pandemic has generated series of mixed reactions and attitudes. This study was however carried out to investigate Islamic scholars’ perception and attitudes towards Covid-19 and its vaccination in Nigeria. The study was a descriptive one. The stratified random sampling technique was employed to select the participants based on creedal affiliations across the six geo-political zones in Nigeria. A researchers’ designed questionnaire was employed. T-test and ANOVA statistical tools were used to analyse the data collected at alpha level of 0.05 level of significant. The findings showed that most of the respondents agreed that Covid-19 is Islamically categorised under Rijz, Ta'un, and Waba’. The restriction of movement, hand washing, using of nose/face mask, social distancing etc. and other measures to curtain the spread of COVID-19 are in tandem with the teachings of Islam. In addition, most Islamic scholars disposed negatively to the vaccination against COVID-19 due to ambiguity surrounding the vaccine. It was recommended that government needs to constitute health professionals to carry out more researches on the content and safety of the vaccines, publish the outcomes and sensitise masses on the need to get vaccinated. Islamic scholars should organise workshops and revisit the issue of permissibility of Covid-19 vaccines form the point of Islam. Government should provide convincing clues about vaccination. If found safe and Zalal, Islamic scholars should change their mind set and attitudes towards vaccination and endeavor to encourage their subjects
