    Bibliometric Analysis of Capillaroscopy Use in Systemic Sclerosis: Current State and Advances 2000 to 2024

    Introduction: Systemic sclerosis is a complex autoimmune disease characterized by diverse clinical manifestations that vary among individuals. It is associated with significant morbidity and mortality. This study aimed to evaluate the existing literature on the use of capillaroscopy in systemic sclerosis and to perform a bibliometric analysis. Methods: Data were downloaded Scopus on 2ndOctober 2024, and analyzed using VOSviewer and the Biblioshiny package programs. Results: A total of 819 articles 246 sources were analyzed. Italy led in the number of publications (n=209) and the frequency of international cooperation. The article, titled “Nailfold Videocapillaroscopy Assessment of Microvascular Damage in Systemic Sclerosis,” published in The Journal of Rheumatology, has garnered 606 citations, making it the most cited article. Cutolo M. was the most influential author, with 1302 citations and 107 publications, while the University of Genova was the most prolific institution. The investigation identified significant issue clusters in the literature related to keywords, such as “systemic sclerosis,” “Raynaud's phenomenon,” “capillaroscopy,” and “digital ulcers.” Discussion: This study presents the first comprehensive bibliometric analysis of capillaroscopy use in systemic sclerosis. The findings suggest that scientific interest in the subject is increasing and that research leadership is primarily located in European countries, with Italy at the forefront. The most frequently used keywords in the thematic analysis indicated that capillaroscopy can be used not only for diagnosis but also for monitoring complications. The use of only the Scopus database and the inclusion of only original articles in the study constitute limitations. This methodological choice was made to ensure data integrity. Conclusion: Understanding the research on capillaroscopy applications in systemic sclerosis can benefit rheumatologists and provide ideas for future investigations.     Novel green and sustainable solvent system based on the synergistic effect of natural deep eutectic solvent and surfactant micelles for the separation and determination of acrylamide from various foodstuffs

    The present study introduces the analytical procedure developed for the separation of acrylamide (AA) from different food samples by surfactant-modulated natural deep eutectic solvent-based sonication-assisted liquid-liquid microextraction (SM-NADES-SA-LLME) and subsequent determination by ultraviolet–visible spectrophotometry (UV–Vis). A new solvent system was used for the separation of AA, which reveals the synergistic effect achieved by the combination of natural deep eutectic solvent (NADES) and surfactant micelles. L-proline is one of the 20 amino acids that make up proteins, while malic acid is involved in the Krebs cycle. The use of these components of biological origin is important for the application of environmental sustainability principles in chemistry and for meeting the criteria of Green Analytical Chemistry. The interaction between NADES (L-proline:malic acid) and Triton X-114 (as nonionic surfactant) molecules reduced the critical micelle concentration, resulting in rapid and efficient micelle formation. To the best of our knowledge, this solvent system was used for the first time for the separation of AA. When the SM-NADES-SA-LLME procedure was applied under optimal conditions, efficient analytical parameters were obtained. Certified reference materials (CRMs) have also confirmed the high accuracy of the method. The green profile and applicability of the SM-NADES-SA-LLME procedure were demonstrated using specific software tools.     The relationship between fear of medical procedures and psychosocial symptoms in hospitalized children: A cross-sectional study

    Purpose: The present study was conducted to examine the relationship between fear of medical procedures and psychosocial symptoms in hospitalized children. Method: This cross-sectional descriptive study included 150 children aged 6–12 years, diagnosed with either acute or chronic illness, who were admitted to the Pediatric Ward of a State Hospital with their mothers. Study data were collected through the “Demographic Information Form”, “Medical Procedure Fear Scale”, and “Psychosocial Symptoms Assessment Scale for Hospitalized Children”. The data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and linear regression analysis. Results: The average total score obtained from the Medical Procedure Fear Scale was 52.9 ± 8.83, children were found to be slightly afraid of medical procedures. The average total score on the Psychosocial Symptoms Diagnosis Scale was 16.77 ± 7.91, children were found to have psychosocial symptoms, most frequently anxiety and regression. A significant and positive relationship was found between medical procedure fear and psychosocial symptoms (p < 0.05). Conclusion: As children's scores on the medical procedure fear scale increase, their psychosocial symptoms increase and medical fear is seen as a determinant of psychosocial symptoms. Practice implications: Pediatric nurses must evaluate the fears of medical procedures and psychosocial problems of hospitalized children and guide children and parents in preventing and reducing fears of medical procedures and psychosocial problems

    OrtaÇağ’ın önemli ticaret merkezleri arasında bulunan ve tarihi boyunca çeşitlimedeniyetlerin hâkim olduğu Sivas şehri, çeşitli kültürel zenginlikleribünyesinde barındırmaktadır. Bu zenginlikler arasında şüphesiz Toprakkale adıile bilinen Sivas İç Kale, en önde gelenidir. “Sivas Kale Evleri Projesi”kapsamında 2019 yılında Gök Medrese ile Toprakkale arasındaki bölgede Sivas ArkeolojiMüzesi Başkanlığında kazı çalışmalarına başlanmıştır. 2019-2021 yıllarıarasında yapılan çalışmalar sonucunda ele geçirilen sırlı seramik ve çinibuluntuları, elinizdeki kitapta incelenmiştir. Eserde, buluntuların dönem vetarihlerinin tespitinin yanı sıra, Sivas İç Kale’nin geçmişine dair önemliveriler yer almaktadır. Toprakkale’de, Selçuklu ve Osmanlı Dönemi yerleşimininanlaşılmasına yönelik bilgiler içeren bu kitabın, gelecek yıllarda alanda yapılacakçalışmalara da referans olacağı ön görülmektedir.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p

    Bu bölümde, antrenman sürecinin temel bileşenleri olan yüklenme ve toparlanma kavramları bilimsel temelleriyle ele alınmakta; performans gelişimi, sakatlıkların önlenmesi ve antrenmanın bireyselleştirilmesi açısından taşıdığı önem tartışılmaktadır. Yüklenme, iç ve dış yük bileşenleri üzerinden tanımlanarak sporcunun antrenmana verdiği fizyolojik ve algısal yanıtlarla ilişkilendirilmiştir. Toparlanma ise, yalnızca fiziksel değil, aynı zamanda nöromüsküler, hormonal ve psikolojik yönleriyle değerlendirilmektedir. Bölümde ayrıca, yüklenme-toparlanma dengesinin izlenmesi, aşırı yüklenme ve sürantrenman riski, izleme araçları (HRV, RPE, wellness ölçekleri vb.) ve teknolojik gelişmelerin bu sürece katkısı ele alınmıştır. Spor branşlarının farklı ihtiyaçları doğrultusunda değişen yüklenme ve toparlanma dinamikleri vurgulanmış; bireyselleştirilmiş yük yönetimi ve güncel antrenman stratejileri çerçevesinde öneriler sunulmuştur. Bu bağlamda, spor performansının sürdürülebilir bir şekilde artırılmasında yüklenme ve toparlanma süreçlerinin bütüncül bir anlayışla ele alınması gerektiği vurgulanmaktadır.</p
