Capital and liquidity assessment in the context of preventing corporate insolvency
Get PDFThe relevance of the study is stipulated by the need for a comprehensive assessment of the financial stability of enterprises through the analysis of the capital structure and liquidity in the conditions of an unstable economic environment. Directions for improving the assessment of the capital structure and liquidity of enterprises in the context of preventing insolvency have been substantiated in accordance with the purpose of the study. The methodological basis of the study included the statistical analysis, correlation research and visualisation of empirical data based on scatter plots and histograms of Equity-to-Assets and Quick Ratio indicators distribution on the example of seven enterprises of Ukraine operating in the field of non-specialised wholesale trade for the period 2021-2024. The obtained results demonstrated a moderate positive correlation between Equity-to-Assets and Quick Ratio indicators, which confirmed the complex multifactorial nature of the solvency formation. It gave grounds to argue that the general trend of increasing the share of equity capital contributes to improving the quick liquidity of the enterprises, which formed the sample under study. The analysis of Equity-to-Assets and Quick Ratio indicators distribution revealed the asymmetry in the distribution, which emphasised the feasibility of using additional research methods, in particular, cluster analysis for enterprise typology. A significant part of enterprises is concentrated in the range of moderate capitalisation (5-30%) and a sufficient level of liquidity (>80%), however, the enterprises with signs of the financial condition deterioration emphasised the need to strengthen financial risk management and restructuring of obligations. The practical value of the study is determined by the integration of modern quantitative analysis tools into the processes of insolvency prevention, creating the basis for a well-founded adaptation of management strategies in response to the identified statistical patterns of relationships between key solvency indicators, in particular Equity-to-Assets and Quick Ratio, which is of particular relevance in the conditions of destabilised macroeconomic environment and growing external and internal risks for business entities

Transformative impact of the information society on innovation development of public authority bodies
No full textThe purpose of the study is to analyze the theoretical and practical aspects of organizing the activities of public authorities in the context of transformational changes in the information society in order to determine the rational influence of citizens on government structures, the rational performance of the necessary administrative functions by the authorities and the development of recommendations for their improvement. The introduced tools of e-democracy in public authorities are considered, related to the renewal and reform of the administrative system taking place in Ukrainian society under the influence of globalization trends and external threats with the spread of new channels of communication between citizens, between citizens and public authorities, between authorities and other participants in state administrative processes. The state of informatization and implementation of sectoral, regional programs, projects, and work on informatization of local governments in accordance with the National Informatization Program and the results of the functioning of the Ministry of Digital Transformation, which indicate the proper reform of the public service and service in local governments in accordance with European standards, where the mechanisms for providing public services are the basis for the functioning of government in a democratic society, are determined. The directions for the development of e-government services are determined, which create the prerequisites for the transformation of the functioning of public institutions and the development of the institutional structure of public administration, which ensures effective interaction between the state, business, and civil society institutions. Based on the research conducted, the integration of Ukrainian society into the European one and the improvement of the system of providing public services require the creation of new models based on the use of modern network technologies through the application of appropriate tools

Implementation of Professionally Oriented Tasks with Interactive Cloud Environment Google Colab
Get PDFThe purpose of the paper is to analyze the necessity of implementing professionally oriented tasks in higher mathematics courses for technical students during practical classes using the interactive cloud environment Google Colab. The results are as follows. The main mathematical concepts are analyzed; the indicators of professionally oriented mathematical tasks are characterized; the aspects of solving professionally oriented tasks are considered. The students’ survey as a pilot study has shown that students do not have very high self-esteem, have little problem-solving skills, it affects students’ motivation, academic performance. The examples of solving professionally oriented tasks with the interactive cloud environment Google Colab are shown. The conclusion is that a balance between the fundamental mathematical knowledge and the practical value is needed; Google Colab helps a lot. The prospect for further research is to monitor the success of students’ learning in other courses using Google Colab
