Floyd Hall
No full textRenovations, the first of many, began on Floyd Hall in 1982/1983. Architects for the project were Northington, Smith, Kranert, Tomblin and Associates and S.L Pappas Company of Birmingham were project construction leaders. A complete renovation of the heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems throughout the building the biggest task. These renovations provided the 4-story building with a uniform heating and cooling system, an adequate ventilation system for all laboratories and certain lab areas with controlled humidity. With these new renovations, the university was able to add industrial hygiene, environmental biology, and other pre-professional programs to the curriculum.https://roar.una.edu/una_arch_images/1013/thumbnail.jp
