Flowers Hall, Florence State University
Flowers Hall was constructed in 1972 to house the physical education department and athletic programs at Florence State University. Named for Hubert A. Eddie Flowers, the school\u27s first Athletic Director until he retired in 1969. Flowers came to State Normal School in 1927 as a physical education instructor, later coaching the Men\u27s Basketball, Tennis, and Baseball teams as well as serving as Director and Chairman of the Physical Education Department.https://roar.una.edu/una_arch_images/1010/thumbnail.jp
