How moral philosophers can help society
This paper argues that moral philosophers can have a special role in helping members of society come to choose which moral theories to believe. Importantly, the argument does not depend on the idea that moral philosophers (more) reliably have true moral beliefs (or are “Strong Moral Experts”). Instead, the argument is that moral philosophers are well-placed to develop understanding of moral theories by drawing out valid implications (they are “Weak Moral Experts”). By developing valid moral arguments, and by making the relevant implications accessible to society, moral philosophers can help people understand the costs and benefits of various moral theories, allowing them to make more informed choices. This does not imply that everyone will agree; there is room for disagreement about the weight to put on various theoretical costs and benefits. But it does give a metaphilosophical picture of the role of moral philosophers, justify certain kinds of public philosophy, and explain the value that moral philosophers can add to society at the philosophy-public interface. Hélène Cixous’s famous essay “The Laugh of Medusa” (1975) is at once a wonderful and joyful call to write, and a significant theoretical intervention that, since its publication fifty years ago, has paved the way for an affirmative approach to thinking about sex, writing, and literary criticism. This article introduces écriture féminine as a political poetic and situates this core methodological text within its intellectual-historical context as a response to the negative-critical conceptualisation of sex represented by Simone de Beauvoir. It argues that this confrontation marks a lasting divide in feminist thought between dialectics and affirmation, that is still effective today. Central to this reading is the thesis that woman lacks nothing. The article explores how “feminine writing” is to be understood through i) its emphasis on difference over binary opposition, ii) generosity as key in relating to the other, and finally iii) the inscription of the body in and as text
Relationship between Occupational Stress and Resilience among Mathematics Teachers of Higher Secondary Schools in Kerala
Today, teachers face a multitude of problems related to student issues, job-related concerns, and
complications in the teaching, learning, and evaluation processes. In addition to these profession-related problems, they
naturally have to manage their personal and familial concerns. In such situations, there is a significant possibility of
deterioration in the mental health of teachers. Since mathematics is considered a difficult subject by many, teachers
who deal with this subject often face additional hardships in their profession. In higher secondary schools, where
students are adolescents, the situation becomes even more challenging. Therefore, the mental health of teachers is of
high concern and should be frequently monitored. The present study attempts to explore the relationship between
occupational stress and resilience, a protective factor against mental health issues (Vergara et al., 2024), among
mathematics teachers in higher secondary schools in the state of Kerala, India, surveying a random sample of 150
teachers. Pearson’s correlation analysis of the data reveals a moderate level of relationship between occupational stress
and resilience among teachers, emphasizing the need to employ strategies that increase resilience levels, thereby
mitigating occupational stress
Morality first?
The Morality First strategy for developing AI systems that can represent and respond to human values aims to first develop systems that can represent and respond to moral values. I argue that Morality First and other X-First views are unmotivated. Moreover, if one particular philosophical view about value is true, these strategies are positively distorting. The natural alternative according to which no domain of value comes “first” introduces a new set of challenges and highlights an important but otherwise obscured problem for e-AI developers
Is the T-scheme true?
In this note I consider the question of whether the T-scheme is true. Though the T-scheme does not itself have a truth-value, its specific instances do have a truth-value. They are true. Indeed, they are analytically true. It is argued that instances of the T-scheme are analytic in both the epistemological and metaphysical senses of analyticity

The Ontological Significance of Foundherentism
There are only a few aspects of existence that can be described as universal to the human species. One of those universals is consciousness, the experience of "I" and the concomitant awareness of being finite that "I" experience in the face of what is perceivably although perhaps not literally an infinite cosmos. Within the experience of "I" there are other universals that everybody recognizes as constitutive of what it means to be human in the first place, perhaps none so much as emotional sensation. However, there is one universal that seems to avoid meaningful recognition even if it is not ignored outright, and perhaps that is because "the world" as we experience it is so complicated and our lives so enmeshed in its trappings that to wonder about its nature would be akin to marveling at the biomechanical genius involved in the manipulation of tools with the human hand. Though understandable, there is great utility in developing a nuanced conceptual model of the way we construct and experience the "worlds" in which each of us resides. In this essay, I utilize the underlying principles of Susan Haack's foundherentism to describe an ontological conception of "world" that is more accessible to those both within and outside of the continental tradition of philosophy, highlighting the often-overlooked mutual interdependence of seemingly disparate philosophical tradition
Inter-Frame Field Unification (IFFU)
We present Inter-Frame Field Unification (IFFU), a compatibility-based framework for unifying fundamental forces. Building on our earlier work in Interpolative Physics and its formal equations, this theory models spacetime not as a collapsing or geometric structure, but as an interpolative medium—capable of sustaining coherent signal identity across phase-shifting frames. A scalar constant: K. K governs the limits of this coherence, predicting when interactions remain stable or collapse. IFFU formalizes how gravity, electromagnetism, and nuclear forces emerge as different expressions of frame compatibility under dynamic conditions. It offers a complete, testable set of equations linking mass-energy, temporal displacement, and resonance. Designed with practical experimentation in mind, this model enables applications in entanglement analysis, quark-phase stabilization, and localized gravitational simulation. As the synthesis of our previous two papers, IFFU provides a structured and lab-ready path toward unified field modeling
