PLÁN S – AKCELERÁTOR OTVORENÉHO PUBLIKOVANIA A OTVORENEJ VEDY

    Get PDF
Základným cieľom otvoreného prístupu k výsledkom vedy je funkčnosť a overiteľnosť výskumu, efektívne využívanie finančných prostriedkov vynakladaných v tejto v oblasti, opätovné využívanie objavených výstupov a ich modifikácia.

Bearing in mind how physical education classes have been donein the last two decades, it is evident that a change is needed. Thisresearch will help physical education teachers to become morefamiliar with the needs and various profiles of students, and to getan insight into how students see and experience these classes. Theresearch was conducted on a sample of 505 pupils, 210 students ofthe Elementary School "Čibukovački Partizani" and 295 students ofthe Secondary Electro-traffic School "Nikola Tesla", from the territoryof the municipality of Kraljevo. The aim of the research was todetermine and identify the reasons why the students like and do notlike physical education classes. Data analysis revealed that studentslike physical education because they feel comfortable at classes andthey see them as useful and content adapted to their abilities anddesires. As the reasons they do not like teaching physical education, students mentioned carrying teaching equipment and monotonuouslessons. High school students do not consider teaching physicaleducation as important but primary school students do. Consideringthat part of the survey was related to how the students areexperiencing teachers of physical education, results have shown thatthere is no statistically important connection between sex and aexperience of a teacher which is different comparing to theconnection between age and the experience a teacher where highcorrelation has been found.ences (U = 376, Z = -2.028, p < 0.043)with low significance (r = 0.25)

    No full text
The aim of this study was to examine how specific diaphragmatic breathing technique during rest period can improve explosive strength of lower extremities. In this study we tested 9 subjects represented by students of Physical education and Sports (age ± 22.71) We measured explosive strength of lower extremities by Counter movement jumps test on Myotest device repeatedly after 3 sets of 30 seconds maximal intensity load following 90 seconds rest period. Test was measured after rest period. Measurement was realized on 27th of October. We compared results with other measurement when same situation was examined, but there was used passive recovery during rest periods between sets. The research showed that breathing technique brought significant improvement in counter movement jumps (p = 0.008), where subjects improved their jumps height in average about 2.58 %. On the other hand after using passive recovery method there was no significant improvement. Voluntary diaphragmatic breathing seems to be more effective than passive recovery during repeated high intensity activity but we recommend deeper investigation

Menstrual cycle characteristics among female canoe athletes

    No full text
Canoe slalom is an Olympic discipline conducted on a whitewater course, where athletes navigate through a sequence of upstream and downstream gates. Two types of boats are used in this sport: canoe (C) and kayak (K). In the canoe events, athletes use a single-bladed paddle and adopt a kneeling position with legs bent and secured under the body, contrasting with the seated position and double-bladed paddle technique used in kayak events. At the international level, six individual events are contested: women’s kayak (WK1), men’s kayak (MK1), women’s canoe (WC1), men’s canoe (MC1), women’s kayak cross (WX1), and men’s kayak cross (MX1) (1). From the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games onward, athlete representation has been structured for gender parity at the Olympic Games and, theoretically, at all other competitions organized by the International Canoe Federation (ICF).
