Uncertainty in perspective: Building a comparative framework
Motivation: Creating a framework to categorize and, by it, deduce assumptions about uncertainty in the work of economists, even when uncertainty isn’t explicitly stated. Using this framework on a similar base of authors, Davidson used it to create his taxonomy.Aim: The primary aim of this article is to introduce a new tool for comparing different perspectives on uncertainty; the secondary aim is to categorize various viewpoints of chosen authors from Post Keynesian and Austrian school of Economics and infer implicit assumptions about uncertainty based on these categorizations.Materials and methods: The methods employed in the article are integrative review, Davidson taxonomy, and a comparative framework called modified taxonomy. Materials consist of chosen works of economists from Post Keynesian and Hayek to replicate, to some extent, selection of authors from the original work of Davidson, which introduced his taxonomy. Results: The analysis indicate that authors promoting decentralized solutions such as market perceive uncertainty as stemming from external to economy sources, whereas authors promoting more centralized solution (one that need some sort of guarantee) is seeking uncertainty from human’s ability to create future independent by autonomous decisions
Selection factors of project management information systems and the project maturity of an organization
Project management information systems are widely regarded as an extremely important tool for ensuring project success. Choosing the right information system from the ever-growing list of solutions available on the market is a challenge for any organization. The authors undertook to identify and evaluate factors for the selection of information systems supporting project management considering the organization\u27s project maturity. The identification of factors subjected to empirical verification was based on literature reviews and the focus group method. The evaluation process utilised the results of primary empirical research conducted on a sample of 572 respondents. This allowed the evaluation and prioritisation of the identified motives and the identification of latent relationships in their set

Identification of the object motion trajectory in a digital image using the Kalman filter
The paper concerns identification of the object motion trajectories in a digital image. An image analysis procedure was used consisting of two methods: BLOB identification and Kalman filter. BLOB identification is the superior method, and the Kalman filter is an alternative one, used to determine the motion trajectories only in the event of incorrect BLOB identification. Data from the correct BLOB identification are used on an ongoing basis in the process of training the Kalman filter. In this way, the filter becomes a model of a physical object that allows predicting the future state based on the object\u27s current behaviour. The use of two complementary image analysis methods allows to determine the motion trajectories of the object\u27s characteristic points in conditions of uneven scene lighting. The effectiveness of the method was confirmed in experimental rests
Description of a three-phase, four-wire system with a nonlinear receiver and an asymmetric voltage source using CPC power theory
This article mathematically describes a three-phase, four-wire circuit in the case of a nonlinear, unbalanced load, asymmetry of the power source with a periodic, non-sinusoidal waveform. This description uses Currents\u27 Physical Components (CPC) power theory for three-phase circuits. Determining the energy flow between the source and the load is possible by decomposing the phase current into components depending on the physical nature of the phenomena in this circuit. Mathematical relationships were determined enabling decomposition into components depending on the direction of energy flow and the causes of their creation. A calculation example using the determined relationships and calculation results has been presented. The presented computational concept is important for mathematical analyzes in circuits with nonlinear three-phase receivers. Knowing the nature of physical phenomena, it is possible to perform measures that limit the value of the current supplying the load

Artykuł prezentuje nowe kierunki w polskim systemie podatkowym.
Exploring the role of cultural values on consumers’ organic food consumption: Does blockchain-enabled traceability matter?
Research background: There is limited knowledge about how cultural values influence organic food consumption, as well as how blockchain-enabled traceability facilitates this behavior. Given the increasing need for transparency in food supply chains and increasing interest in sustainable consumption, understanding the role of culture and technological innovations like blockchain is crucial.
Purpose of the article: This research applies Hofstede’s cultural dimensions and the Theory of Planned Behavior to investigate the effects of cultural values on organic food consumption, and the moderating role of blockchain-enabled traceability. Therefore, the study aims to contribute to the state of the art by integrating cultural perspectives with technological advancements, offering actionable insights for consumer research and sustainable supply chain management.
Methods: Using a purposive sample of 5,326 consumers in Vietnam, the study employs hierarchical multiple regression to test the conceptual model and hypotheses.
Findings & value added: The findings reveal that uncertainty avoidance, collectivism, and long-term orientation positively influence attitude toward purchasing organic foods, which in turn enhances purchase intentions and behaviors. Conversely, masculinity negatively impacts these attitudes. However, power distance and individualism do not significantly affect attitudes or purchase behaviors. Furthermore, blockchain-enabled traceability significantly moderates the effects of perceived behavioral control on both organic food purchase intentions and behaviors. By bridging the research gap on consumer perspectives on blockchain adoption and cultural impacts on sustainable consumption, the study advances the existing literature and provides a comprehensive framework to understand and facilitate organic food consumption. These contributions have long-term implications for integrating cultural and technological dimensions into consumer behavior research and practical food supply chain management decision-making
