Psychometric validation of the REM Spirituality Index: Approach to a new typology of spirituality
Introduction: the present study aims to analyze the psychometric properties of the REM Spirituality Scale by evaluating four subscales: self-care, connections, assistance to others, and search for existential meaning and significance. Methods: An instrumental study was conducted to analyze the psychometric properties of a scale designed to assess spirituality, specifically in its self-care dimension. We worked with a purposive sample of 60 adults who were administered a self-administered questionnaire of 100 items corresponding to the self-care subscale of the REM Spirituality Index. A reliability analysis (Cronbach\u27s alpha) and an Exploratory Factor Analysis were carried out to examine each subscale\u27s internal consistency and underlying factor structure. Results: The results show adequate internal consistency in the four dimensions (α between 0.68 and 0.92) and differentiated factor structures that reflect the multidimensionality of spirituality. In particular, factors linked to self-care, meaningful social relationships, altruism, and the search for existential purpose were identified. Conclusions: The differentiation between internal spirituality (focused on self-care and personal reflection) and external spirituality (focused on social connections and altruistic helping) is proposed, which broadens the theoretical understanding of the construct of spirituality and its psychometric measurement

Factors of Students\u27 Psychological Resistance to Volunteer Activities and Pedagogical Approaches to their Elimination
Introduction: volunteering represented a significant social phenomenon among student communities, yet many young people demonstrated psychological resistance to participation. The aim of this study was to analyze the key psychological barriers preventing students from engaging in volunteer activities and to propose pedagogical strategies for overcoming them. Methods: a quantitative survey method was applied, involving 60 Kazakh university students. The survey aimed to identify the most influential psychological and socio-cultural factors hindering or promoting students\u27 involvement in volunteering. Results: the findings revealed that the major barriers to volunteering included lack of free time, poor self-organization, social passivity, and absence of material incentives. Conversely, opportunities for gaining new skills, making friends, and achieving social recognition were found to be powerful motivating factors. Socio-cultural influences, particularly peer communication and academic environment, played a crucial role in shaping students’ willingness to volunteer. Conclusions: the study concluded that psychological resistance to volunteering could be reduced through targeted pedagogical interventions, such as incorporating volunteer activities into educational settings and offering preparatory training. Recognizing and addressing students\u27 motivational drivers proved essential in promoting active volunteer engagement and fostering a culture of social responsibility within the academic environment
Gamification and open innovation in organizations: a systematic review of the literature
The study examined the link between gamification and open innovation in organizations as a training strategy to promote participation, ideation, and creativity. Despite growing interest, there is limited research integrating both concepts in organizational settings. A systematic review was conducted following the ReSiste-CHS framework, combining bibliometric and thematic analysis. Databases such as Scopus, EBSCO, Google Scholar, and Taylor and Francis were used. The bibliometric analysis revealed four thematic clusters: innovation management, co-creation, crowdsourcing, and applied technologies. Gamification occupied a central position, acting as an interface between different innovation dynamics. However, an instrumental approach predominated, with little inclusion of pedagogical or critical frameworks. Gamification was found to contribute to the promotion of open innovation, especially in the early stages. However, beyond its motivational potential, its impact depends on strategic design and integration with pedagogical theories. The research suggested that future research should incorporate epistemological approaches to consolidate its educational value in organizational environments
The impact of psychological support on professional development in educational institutions in Ukraine
Purpose. Current trends in educational evolution increasingly incorporate the role of psychological services aimed at providing support to all participants in the educational process. Given the prolonged Russian-Ukrainian war, an essential question arises regarding the impact of psychological assistance on professional development within Ukraine\u27s academic institutions. Accordingly, this study aims to assess the effect of professional psychological support on professional growth within contemporary Ukrainian educational institutions. Method. An experimental study was conducted using control and experimental groups (n=60). A random sampling model with stratified elements was employed using questionnaires and standardised scales to measure stress resistance and anxiety. Questionnaires were administered exclusively among the experimental group to confirm the effectiveness of psychological support. Results. The findings indicate that, within the context of professional development, psychological techniques targeted stress resistance enhancement, emotional competence building, motivation management, and the formation of communication skills and self-reflection. The methods demonstrated a positive impact on professional motivation. Participants in the experimental group particularly valued coaching techniques, mentorship, relaxation practices, and the introduction of art or music therapy. A significant correlation was observed between participation in psychological training sessions and reduced levels of anxiety and stress. Conclusions. Conclusions indicate that 70% of the surveyed participants found psychological support compelling. Thus, adequate psychological support is vital in sustaining a proper educational environment and realizing the pedagogical process
Medical education in decline: What do 6th year medical students choose for their education in CABA/AMBA?
Introduction: In the current context of the Argentine health system, access to medical residencies was an issue of growing concern for medical students. Faced with job insecurity, excessive working hours and low salaries, this study analyzed the perceptions, motivations and professional alternatives considered by students in the last year of their degree, with the aim of understanding what factors influenced their decision to choose —or not— this training path. Methods: A cross-sectional study was carried out during the months of August and September 2024. One hundred and one sixth-year students from public and private universities in CABA, who resided in CABA or AMBA, participated. Data collection was carried out by means of an anonymous, self-administered and voluntary survey, distributed by digital means. Variables such as type of university, job preferences, perception of the system and future expectations were included. Results: 36.6% of those surveyed said they did not wish to undertake a medical residency. The main reasons given were low pay, poor quality of life and the demanding workload. More than 55% expressed an interest in working abroad or in private practice. The most desired specialties did not always coincide with those offering the most vacancies, reflecting a disconnect between aspirations and reality. Conclusions: The study revealed a generational change in the way medical training is perceived. Future doctors prioritized personal well-being, mental health and better economic conditions over the traditional path of residency.
Digital Transformation of Education as a Space For Supporting Learners With Special Needs — Challenges And Prospects For Inclusion
Introduction: Digital technologies and processes of digitalization of education have contributed to the realization of the principle of equal access to education. This study focuses on the implementation of inclusive education within the framework of digital transformation as a response to the special educational needs of perfectly integrated students. Methods: The following methods were used in the study: a questionnaire, a pedagogical experiment, a comparative analysis of graduates\u27 educational outcomes before and after the use of educational technology, and mathematical data processing according to Pearson\u27s criterion. Results: A systematic categorization of traditional and digital models of inclusion in inclusive pedagogy was conducted, and the prospects for using proactive digital inclusion approaches in pedagogical practice were explored. A system of criteria and sub-criteria for self-analysis of the effectiveness of digital inclusive methods in modern education has been developed. The conclusions of the self-analysis indicate the inadequacy of the didactic capabilities of educational resources, low flexibility of interfaces of educational platforms, inadequate service support, insufficient qualifications of teachers in inclusive education, as well as inadequate targeting systems in the process of integrated learning. A statistical study of the effectiveness of the use of modern educational technologies in teaching children with special needs has shown positive dynamics in the essence of educational achievements of a significant number of students. Conclusions: The use of advanced technologies provides broad prospects for the organization of integrated learning and involves the development of complex hardware, methodological and technological solutions for this category of students
