The Teacher’s Role in Civic Education Teaching Based on the Constructivism Approach
The critical and creative thinking skills of students are not at their expected level because most students are still likely to reiterate learnt information instead of building new knowledge. Teachers are very important facilitators and guides to full involvement of physical and mental interest of students in the learning process. Nevertheless, there is a paucity of research on the roles of teachers in constructivist paradigm. This research paper will attempt to discuss the role of teachers in enabling students to develop their thinking abilities and build meaningful knowledge. Under a qualitative design, 15 Civics Education instructors at five junior high schools of the general public were used in this research. The data were gathered with the help of observations, interviews, and documentation and analyzed with the help of descriptive statistics. The findings indicate that the constructivist approach has never been completely put into practice in Civics Education classes. Educators are more inclined to exhibit their role of the authority, instead of collaborators in the process of knowledge building. Their reflection and collaboration functions are manifested but inadequate. Though teachers are the ones doing instruction, the level of student participation is minimal. In addition, the attempt of teachers at nurturing thinking and creative thinking is still minimal as learners find it hard to release their ideas and opinions. To sum it up, Civics Education learning is yet to be represented as a truly constructivist one and the prevailing role of teachers as the primary sources of knowledge deprives the latter of their ability to build meaningful knowledge
The Application of Electronic Medical Record-Based Nursing Care Documentation in Improving the Effectiveness of Nursing Services
Introduction : Incomplete nursing documentation can have an impact on client safety and the quality of service provided to clients, with the risk of miscommunication between nursing care providers and clients. The phenomenon occurring at the Community Health Center in Banyuwangi Regency is the non-implementation of SDKI, SLKI, and SIKI in documenting nursing care. So far, there has been no qualitative study in Indonesia related to nursing documentation using SDKI, SLKI, and SIKI. This study aims to explore further the documentation of nursing care using SDKI, SLKI, and SIKI at the Mojopanggung, Singotrunan, and Kelir Community Health Centers in Banyuwangi Regency.
Methods : This study used a qualitative method with a descriptive phenomenological approach. The number of participants consisted of 16 people with purposive sampling technique. Data collection used in-depth interviews, observation, and nursing documentation review techniques.
Results : The results of this study revealed three themes, namely that human resource development has not been optimal. The second theme is the challenges and obstacles faced by nurses in nursing documentation. The third theme is that the application of digital information systems has not been optimal, particularly the implementation of SDKI, SLKI, and SIKI documentation in electronic medical records.
Conclusions : The success of implementing digital-based nursing documentation depends not only on the availability of technological systems, but also on strengthening human resource capacity, effective supervision, and managerial support in managing workloads and improving information systems

Choice of medical specialty among students studying medicine
Background: Due to the complexity of choosing a medical specialty, it\u27s crucial to analyze the factors and influences involved in this decision-making process, as it can significantly impact one\u27s career and personal life. Factors to consider include lifestyle, job requirements, salary, reputation, duration of studies, the ability to maintain a "controlled" lifestyle, and family members. Additionally, culture and lifestyle can influence specialty choice. Exploring these factors can assist medical students in making more informed and satisfying decisions.
Methods: This study is an observational cross-sectional study where the sample consisted of 100 medical students who volunteered between October and December 2023 using the Google Forms platform.
Results: The graphs demonstrate that 64 % of the total students will choose based on their affinity for the specialty, which is the most influential factor when selecting a medical specialty. 16 % believe that the ability to maintain a "controllable" lifestyle is more important when choosing a specialty, 9 % prioritize the duration of residency, and 8 % consider financial income.
Conclusion: Encouraging further research into the influences affecting the choice of a medical specialty helps understand the motivation of medical students. This will contribute not only to the improvement of the healthcare system but also to a more efficient allocation of resources, consequently enhancing the quality of medical services provided to patient
Didactic strategy for the training of skills in clinical trials of Stomatology residents
Introduction: Primary Health Care is the first point of contact that specialists in stomatological sciences provide to the population.
Objective: to develop a didactic strategy for training skills in clinical trials for dentistry residents.
Method: descriptive, cross-sectional study on the Isle of Youth, 2022-2023. Intentional non-probabilistic sampling was used, with the sample consisting of 39 residents, 20 academic committee professors, 17 provincial coordinators and 7 research methodology professors.

The main difficulties identified were in the questions related to knowledge about the researcher\u27s portfolio and the elements necessary to start a clinical trial, with percentages of 7,7 % and 12,8 %, respectively. The proposed strategy was submitted to expert judgment, with scores predominating: very appropriate and moderately appropriate, with values of 64,8 % and 25,6 %, respectively, which represented 90,3 % for the evaluated criteria. The strategy was made up of four stages and actions structured in a coherent manner for its application, which can be enriched from the teaching reflection and the practice of the academic committee of each specialty.
Conclusions: the diagnosis of the current situation of the training of Stomatology specialists on the subject of clinical trials revealed potentialities and shortcomings in the conception, the process and the current level of its developmen
The quality of education, a concern beyond the classroom space
This paper presents the theoretical considerations that serve as points of reference for reflecting on the concept of quality in education. These reflections emerged as part of a research conducted in a new type of educational institution, the Specialized Center for Educational Services, a project that responds to the transformations within the framework of the Third Improvement of the National Education System in Cuba. The polysemic nature of the concept of quality of education and the challenges it poses to the school today in its daily routine are highlighted. This is approached from a perspective that links quality with the demands of real educational contexts and expectations in the different teaching spaces at all educational level
Motivation in the human process as a determining factor in work performance
INTRODUCTION: The study analyzed the influence of motivational factors on work performance within small and medium-sized companies in Tepatitlán de Morelos, Jalisco. Based on previous theories, it was determined that motivation directly affects personnel performance. We sought to formulate a model applicable to similar companies, optimizing business results through motivational strategies.METHODS: The research adopted a quantitative approach with a non-experimental, cross-sectional and correlational-causal design. A questionnaire based on validated measurement scales was applied and distributed to 94 employees of three companies. The dimensions of motivation (achievement, power and affiliation) and work performance (expectations, instrumentality and valence) were evaluated. Pearson\u27s correlation coefficient and the Chi-square test in SPSS were used for data analysis.RESULTS: The findings showed a positive mean-considerable correlation (r=0.637) between motivation and job performance. The achievement factor had the greatest influence on performance, followed by affiliation and power. It was identified that employees valued self-fulfillment and confidence in achieving goals the most, while they showed less interest in exercising authority. In addition, distrust in the performance-reward relationship was observed, which affected motivation.CONCLUSIONS: It was confirmed that the satisfaction of motivational factors improves work performance. It was recommended that companies develop strategies focused on self-fulfillment and strengthening trust in incentives. The results serve as a basis for future research and business optimization models
Assessing the Role of Community-Based Medical Education in Strengthening Healthcare Systems
Connecting medical education directly to local healthcare needs has made community-based medical education (CBME) a revolutionary approach to strengthen healthcare systems. Part of the strategy involves involving medical students in delivering healthcare in underdeveloped rural communities, therefore fostering hands-on learning. With an eye towards how it can help close healthcare gaps and simplify access to treatment, this research looks at how CBME impacts students and healthcare systems. Students that participate in CBME have a unique opportunity to collaborate with a variety of patients, therefore enhancing their overall preparation for practice, clinical skills, and cultural competency. It also encourages students to participate in public health issues, therefore fostering social responsibility and improved understanding of community health operations. For the individuals CBME treats as well as the students, adding it to the medical curriculum proved to be successful. CBME closes the access gap to healthcare by providing healthcare services in areas not well served, therefore strengthening healthcare systems generally. Medical students that participate in neighbourhood health programs provide fresh ideas and points of view that might assist to address particular health issues in specific local communities. This strategy has also been shown to assist rural and remote region healthcare professionals stay in place. This is so because graduates of community-based training programs are more likely to find employment in analogous environments
Evaluating the Influence of Chatbots and AI Assistants on Medical Communication and Patient Trust
Using robots and AI helpers in healthcare is changing how patients communicate with medical services. This could be a good way to improve communication, get patients more involved, and maybe even build trust in healthcare delivery. This research looks at how these digital tools affect how doctors and patients talk to each other and trust each other. The quick spread of AI-powered systems in healthcare settings has led to talks about how well they help build real relationships between healthcare workers and patients and how they can make healthcare more accessible and efficient. The main goal of the study is to look at how patients and healthcare workers feel about AI being used in hospital settings, focussing on how much patients trust and are satisfied with the technology. A mixed-method approach was used, with people from a wide range of groups taking part in both quantitative polls and qualitative conversations. People who used AI-based apps and helpers in healthcare settings, such as to check for symptoms, make appointments, and send follow-up messages, were asked to provide data. The study looks into how these tools affect what patients expect, how happy they are with conversation, and how much they believe AI systems that give them medical advice. The results show that patients have mostly good experiences with AI helpers, especially when it comes to things like ease of use, quick answers, and availability 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Concerns about how artificial intelligence would not be able to provide humane treatment and the requirement of human supervision in medical decision-making surfaced, nevertheless. The research claims that in certain cases artificial intelligence might increase trust and connection; yet, it should be utilised cautiously and that patient care still depends much on human contact. Future research should concentrate on making AI-driven systems in healthcare more accurate, sympathetic, and transparent if we are to fully maximise them
Ethical and Privacy Challenges in Cloud-Based Health Informatics for Digital Health Records
Offering hitherto unheard-of chances to improve data administration, patient care, and clinical decision-making, digital transformation in healthcare has driven the general acceptance of cloud-based health informatics. Moving digital health information to the cloud raises a lot of moral and privacy questions. It examines the evolution of cloud technology throughout time, current use of digital records, and open, scalable architecture underlying health data management. Important privacy concerns like data security, regulatory compliance, and the difficulties of making techniques anonymous—as well as ethical concerns including patient liberty, informed permission, data ownership, and equitable access—are covered in the speech. The paper provides a whole strategy for striking a compromise between innovation and strict safety precautions. It achieves this by considering pragmatic and technical concerns and proposing solutions, such as fresh technologies safeguarding privacy and equitable approaches to data management. The findings reveal that we immediately need combination governance structures and community engagement to establish confidence and ensure that cloud computing may improve things without endangering patient rights and data security
