Then patients were followed for any complicationsResults: in our study, results showed PIH developed to 38% of patients, gestational diabetes mellitus to 15%, preeclampsia to 15%, PPH to 13%, Threatened miscarriage occurred to 5 %, woundinfection developed to 5%, and 37%babies admitted to NCU of patients who followed for complication with high BMI. According to calculations 55% patientswith high BMI delivered spontaneously,28% ended up in emergency LSCS, 11% were elective LSCS and 1 delivered byinstrumentaldelivery .Conclusion: High BMI has adverse effect on PIH,GDM, pre eclampsia, mode of delivery, and threatened miscarriage, whereas, there is no effect of high BMI on woundinfection, elective LSCS, instrumental delivery and congenital anomalywhich maybe due to other factors . More work is required. Key Words: BMI, PIH, GDM, WoundInfection

Prolong computer work without proper ergonomics can lead to neck painwhich ultimately causes serious problems like muscle imbalance, headache, poor work performance. The purpose of this study is not only to promote awarenessof correct exercise regime and to compare two exercise interventions inimprovement of neck pain, also effect of these regimes on nine differentcomponents of daily living activities like headache, work performance, concentration.Experimental, Randomized control trail (RCT)68 participants took part in the study and were divided randomly into twogroups. Group one received cranio- cervical (CC) regime of 06 weeks andsecond group was given treatment in 2 stages. First stage comprise of minimumrepetition exercise which was upgraded to three set with weight in secondstage. The chief impact was seen as the reduction of pain intensity in bothinterventions.Subjects with neck pain of both groups proven a change in neck pain pre NeckDisability Index (NDI) mean of CC, group01 (mean 19.18, std 5.2, p<0.05), andpost NDI score of CC group 01 (mean=6.18,std=6, p<0.05) while in strengthendurance (SE) group pre-score (mean=18.6, std=6.3, p<0.05) And post NDIscore (mean=7,std=6, p<0.05) . Both groups proved significant reduction in neckpain. This study showed that participant who had received cranio-cervical regimeand strength endurance training significantly improves their work performanceas well as neck pain. However, CC group showed improvement regarding workperformance and headache while SE group demonstrated significant improvementin weight lifting than second group

OBJECTIVESTo assess the effectiveness of lumbar manipulation (high velocity low amplitude)for the treatment of low back pain in comparison to back stretching exercises.Randomized Control Trial (Experimental Study)The study was conducted on 200 patients at the Physiotherapy Department ofZiauddin Hospital among patients with history of low back pain of acute, subacute or chronic origin. In this study, patients were divided into two groups, group A and group B equally. Group A of 100 patients received Lumbar Manipulation(High Velocity Low Amplitude) and at the same time Group B of 100patients were treated by back stretching exercises. A pre tested and structuredquestionnaire was used to collect data. Data was entered and analyzed byusing SPSS.Pain was measured on Visual Analogue Scale before and after the giventreatment. The study showed significant results for both the interventions in the treatment oflow back pain but Lumbar Manipulation has been more effective in differenttypes of low back pain while stretching exercises are less effective. On the basis of this study, we are very confident that lumbar manipulation ismore effective for the treatment of low back pain compared to back stretchin

OBJECTIVETo determine the prevalence and association of cervicogenic pain and poorsitting posture among the students of Physical Therapy.A cross sectional survey was conducted among the students through convenientsampling, aged 18 – 30 years. A Structure questionnaire was used to collectthe data. Both descriptive and interference statistics were used to analyzed thedata.A cross- sectional study design was selected for this study.Students (n=100) has been selected from the different private and governmentPhysical Therapy institutes of Karachi. From the sample size (n=100) including students of Physical Therapy, hadstudying for more than 8 hours. During the analysis of data it was found that 71%of students were aware about the correct sitting posture and only in 36% ofstudents’ cervicogenic pain is the reason of decrease their activities. The result of the study shows that the prevalence of cervicogenic pain is higheramong the students but poor sitting posture is not consistent reason of painthere were other associated factors too. Maximum numbers of students wereaware about the correct posture during sitting for study and using computer.Among entire population ratio of pain was higher in female than male students

Unfortunately, in Pakistan these professionalsare mostly working independently or the team work is in a very primitive stage. At the same time, some individuals and organizationsare trying to establish this field to improve the functionality of patients and reduce their sufferings by providing the bestpossible treatment.Physical Therapists play an essential role in virtually every condition that rehabilitation medicine addresses. The goal of physiotherapyis to improve mobility, restore functional movement, increase independence, relieve pain, and minimize limitationsdue to permanent disabilities. Speech Language Therapists/Pathologists are also significant members of the Rehabilitationteam. They are trained to investigate and treat abnormal manifestations of communication and swallowing disorders, forwhatever cause, in children and adults. Wereport a rare case of a patient without any risk factors whohad EP three times in her life. Every time our management was based on the clinical condition of the patient, site ofectopic gestation, patient’s future fertility desire and available expertise in the hospital. It is alsothe major cause of disability and socioeconomic burden2.The diagnosis of the knee can be done with considerable certainty and manyconditions are easily curable. History is of critical diagnostic importance. Theknee pain is usually Well localized and many of the tissues are accessible topalpation.
