A Study of Science Education Methods Reflected in Leading Cases of Social Education in the Science Field, ~Perspectives on Fostering Talent Contributing to the Promotion of a Science and Technology–Oriented Nation––Initiatives of Our University~
The University of Electro-Communications, whose vital mission is to lead advanced science and technology and the development of its human resources, has actively engaged in various science education and social education practices to foster human resources and develop new subject education. This paper examines practical examples such as laboratory experiences of high school students, off-campus visiting lectures, public science experiment courses, and manufacturing workshops conducted by the authors. It elucidates the appropriate science education methods with a view to fostering human talent to promote a science and technology-oriented nation, and clarifies that the University of Electro-Communications is already in a position to fully implement such new methods.departmental bulletin pape
A Survey on Educational Situation of Informatics at High School in Japan Based on Demand of Textbooks after 3 Years since Beginning of Informatics I
教科書の発行に関する臨時措置法にもとづき,各都道府県教育委員会は文部科学省に教科書需要数について報告する義務がある.文部科学省およびいくつかの都道府県への公文書公開手続きにより,2022 年度と 2023 年度の教科書需要数のデータを入手し,情報科および関連する教科の教科書需要数から,「情報 I」と「情報 II」の実施状況や情報科と他教科との関連などを,都道府県との関わりのもとに考察したことについては報告済みである.本発表では,2024 年度の教科書需要数データを入手し,それを追加して得られた 3 年間のデータをもとに,各種教科(「情報 I」,「情報 II」,代替科目,関連科目など)の開講状況の移り変わり,「情報 I」の実施比率と各種指標との関係などを検討したので報告する.Prefectural boards of education are requested to report the demand of textbooks to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) every year based on the temporary measures law concerning textbook issuance. We have already reported on how we obtained textbook demand data for FY2022 and FY2023 through the procedure of disclosing administrative documents for MEXT and some prefectures, and how we investigated the implementation of “Informatics I/II”, the relationship between these subjects and other related subjects, taking into account differences among prefectures. In this paper, we report on our examination of the changing situation regarding the opening of various subjects (such as “Informatics I/II”, alternative subjects, and related subjects), the relationship between the implementation ratio of “Informatics I” and various indicators, and other issues, based on three years of data obtained by adding textbooks demand data for the FY2024.conference pape
