A Report on Prefecture-Level Participation in Informatics in the 2025 Common Test for University Admissions
Full text link共通教科「情報」は，2022年から「情報Ⅰ」が必履修に，2023年から「情報Ⅱ」が選択履修となり，2025年の大学入学共通テストの出題教科に，「情報」が出題された．そこで，大学入試センターが本試験当日にプレス発表した2023年，2024年，2025年の資料を基に，都道府県ごとの各科目の志願者数，受験者数，受験率などの検討を行い，結果として，「情報」の受験者は，都道府県により偏りがあること，「数学2」の受験状況が類似していることなどを報告する．Since 2022, “Informatics I” has been designated as a mandatory subject within the common curriculum, followed by the introduction of “Informatics II” as an elective subject starting in 2023. In 2025, Informatics was officially included as one of the tested subjects in the Common Test for University Admissions.
In this study, we examine and report on the number of applicants, number of examinees, and examination rates for each subject by prefecture, based on the official data released to the press by the National Center for University Entrance Examinations on the day of the main examination in 2023, 2024, and 2025. Our findings reveal regional disparities in the number of examinees for Informatics across prefectures, as well as consistent patterns in participation for “Mathematics(2)”.journal articl
