Assessing Student Resilience in Indonesia: Validating the Resilience at University Scale (RAUS) Using Rasch Analysis
Introduction: this study aims to adapt and test the validity and reliability of the Resilience at University Scale (RAUS) in the Indonesian context, resulting in the ID-RAUS instrument to measure student resilience. Student resilience is a key factor in coping with challenges in higher edu-cation, especially amidst global crises, pandemics, and increasingly complex academic pres-sures.
Method: the study involved 1046 university students from 19 provinces in Indonesia. Participants were selected through invitations sent via WhatsApp, where they were asked to complete the instrument through a Google Form link. The Rasch model was used to evaluate the fit of each item on the ID-RAUS, assess measurement consistency, and ensure cultural appropri-ateness in the local context.
Results: the results showed that ID-RAUS met the standards of validity and reliability, with low measurement standard errors (SE = 0.05 logit). Rasch\u27s analysis showed that the instrument had good internal consistency, with a Cronbach\u27s Alpha value of 0.90 and an item reliability of 0.99. In addition, the analysis of Differential Item Functioning (DIF) revealed differences in responses between genders, university status, and provinces. In particular, male students showed higher resilience scores compared to female students (20% vs. 14%), and students from private universities showed slightly higher levels of resilience (15%) compared to students from public universities (14%). These results suggest that several items need to be adjusted to ensure fairness in the measurement between different demographic groups.
Conclusions: these findings confirm that ID-RAUS is a valid and reliable instrument for assessing stu-dent resilience in Indonesia. ID-RAUS provides valuable insights for designing educational policies and intervention programs tailored to cultural and demographic factors. Future re-search should examine convergent and discriminant validity and revise items that show DIF to ensure broader applicability

From Confidence to Enjoyment: How Perceived Enjoyment and Self-Efficacy Shape Engineering Students’ Intention to Adopt Mobile-Based Gamification Learning
Introduction:digital transformation in the Education 4.0 era has significantly reshaped higher education, including engineering education. In alignment with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education, mobile-based gamification learning (MobGam) has emerged as an innovative approach to enhance learning quality. This study aims to analyze students’ behavioral intention (BI) to adopt MobGam by extending the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) with two external constructs: Self-Efficacy (SE) and Perceived Enjoyment (PE).Method:a quantitative survey was conducted with 127 Industrial Electrical Engineering students in Indonesia. Data were collected using a five-point Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to evaluate both measurement and structural models. Results:the findings show that PE significantly enhances both Perceived Ease of Use (PEU) (β = 0.553, p = 0.001) and Perceived Usefulness (PU) (β = 0.301, p = 0.003). SE also demonstrates a strong positive effect on PEU (β = 0.424, p = 0.001) and PU (β = 0.296, p = 0.003). In the structural model, PEU significantly influences PU (β = 0.402, p = 0.001) and Attitude Toward Use (AT) (β = 0.270, p = 0.005), while PU strongly predicts AT (β = 0.526, p = 0.001) and Behavioral Intention (BI) (β = 0.392, p = 0.001). AT emerges as the most powerful determinant of BI (β = 0.591, p = 0.001). Overall, the model demonstrates high explanatory capacity, with BI predicted substantially (R² > 0.70), confirming that both cognitive (PEU, PU) and motivational (SE, PE) constructs jointly shape students’ acceptance of MobGam.Conclusions:this study extends the applicability of TAM in the context of MobGam by integrating SE and PE as key determinants of technology acceptance. Practically, the findings suggest that educators and instructional designers should emphasize PE, SE, PEU, PE, and AT when implementing MobGam systems to foster learning qulality and sustainable technology adoption in line with SDG 4.

The impact of online search intensity and the moderating role of marketing intensity on the market value of listed travel and airline companies in Vietnam
This study elucidates the complex relationship between online search intensity and the market value of listed travel and airline companies in Vietnam, examining the moderating role of marketing intensity within this dynamic. By employing a Fixed Effects Model (FEM) with Driscoll-Kraay standard errors on an unbalanced panel dataset of 24 firms from 2015 to 2024 (208 observations), the research reveals that online search intensity (ln_SVI), a proxy for public attention, exerts a negative and statistically significant impact on firm market value (Tobin\u27s Q) (β = -0,189, p < 0,01), suggesting that surges in search volume are more indicative of crises than of positive interest. However, the study\u27s core finding is that marketing intensity (MKT) plays a crucial positive moderating role, capable of mitigating and even reversing this negative impact, as evidenced by a highly significant interaction coefficient (β = 0,875, p < 0,01). The research identifies a critical marketing expenditure threshold of 21,6 %, at which the adverse effect of online attention is completely neutralized, with further analysis showing this mitigating role is particularly pronounced for travel companies but not statistically significant for the airline sector. Consequently, the study concludes that online attention is a double-edged sword, and that marketing is not merely an expense but a strategic investment in "reputational assets," acting as an effective risk management tool that safeguards firm value against information shocks

Prevalence of Post-Pandemic Pneumonia in Children Under 10 Years of Age at Ambato General Hospital
Introduction: community-acquired pneumonia (CAP) remains a significant cause of pediatric hospitalization in Latin America. Following the COVID-19 pandemic, changes in the seasonality of respiratory viruses and a predominance of viral etiologies have been observed. Local factors such as altitude and the rainy season in the Andean region of Ecuador may influence incidence and severity. Methods: a retrospective case series study was conducted based on the clinical records of children <10 years old hospitalized for pneumonia at Ambato General Hospital between March 2023 and January 2024. The denominator comprised total pediatric discharges (n = 1,720). Cumulative prevalence, temporal distribution, and demographic, clinical, etiologic, and therapeutic variables were calculated using descriptive statistics. Results: ninety-five cases were identified (5.52% of pediatric discharges). Cases were concentrated between September 2023 and January 2024, peaking in December. The median age was 3.9 years; 61.1% were female, and 67% were <5 years old. The most frequent symptoms were respiratory distress (70.5%), wet cough (69.5%), and hypoxemia (52.6%). The main etiologic agents were influenza A (33.7%) and rhinovirus/enterovirus (15.8%). Two-thirds of patients required oxygen, and the majority received empiric antibiotics. No deaths were recorded. Conclusions: post-pandemic pediatric pneumonia in Ambato presented moderate prevalence, delayed seasonality, and viral predominance. Most patients had favorable outcomes. The study, limited by its retrospective and single-center design, highlights the urgency of strengthening vaccination, optimizing antibiotic use guided by biomarkers, and improving seasonal surveillance, recommending prospective multicenter research for results validation.Recommendations: Under the One Health approach, it is urgent to restore vaccination coverage and implement integrated surveillance to anticipate seasonal peaks
