PROMOTING TURKEY IN NEW MEDIA: AN ANALYSIS THROUGH DIGITAL SERIES, FILMS, AND VIDEO GAMES
DETERMINATION AND COMPARISON OF THE TYPES OF PERFORMANCES OF “HEZİN HEZİN GİR KAPIDAN” IN AFYONKARAHİSAR REGION “HEZİN HEZİN GİR KAPIDAN” ADLI ESERİN AFYONKARAHİSAR YÖRESİNDE YAPILAN İCRA ÇEŞİTLERİNİN TESPİTİ VE KARŞILAŞTIRILMASI
It is important to learn Turkish folk music works by listening to local artists in order to learn the attitude and style of the region. Local artists reflect the cultural elements of the society and geography in which they live; traditions, customs, customs, feelings and thoughts of the people through music. Considering the presence of local artists in the regions, it is obvious that there may be more than one performance style and variant of the works. A source person can perform the same work differently at different times. In the sheet music of the piece “Hezin Hezin Gir Kapıdan” from the Afyonkarahisar region, which belongs to the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT) repertory, it is seen that the source person is Abdullah Uluçelik. In another recording taken in an Meşk environment, it was determined that Uluçelik performed the piece differently than the note belonging to the TRT repertoire, and this was determined as the problem situation of the study. Likewise, it has been determined that the performance of local artist Ömer Yarşi, who is a student of Abdullah Uluçelik, in the album recording is different both according to the notation belonging to the TRT repertoire and according to the performance of his teacher Abdullah Uluçelik in the album recording. From this point of view, Uluçelik and Yarşi's recordings were used and various performance examples and variants of the work were recorded by the field research method carried out by us in the region to determine new ones. As a result of the field research, a total of five different performance examples, including the recordings taken from Fikret Güzeldemir and Nevzat Topuzlu (Altındağ), were notated by us and compared in order to reveal the differences in melody and lyrics. In this comparison, the notation in the TRT repertoire was used as a reference. Each performance was analyzed by comparing with the reference note. This study is limited to the performance examples of the piece in Afyonkarahisar center, Çay and Bolvadin districts

Intraoperative Massive Hemorrhage and Management in Thoracic Surgery
Massive hemorrhage (MH) is most commonly seen in acute trauma, complex cardiac surgery, obstetric hemorrhage, and coagulopathic patients. However, it can also occur during any intraoperative event and remains one of the greatest challenges for anesthesiologists. Major intraoperative bleeding is less common in thoracic surgery than in the past. The use of minimally invasive surgical techniques and the widespread implementation of patient blood management strategies starting from the preoperative period can be considered among the contributing factors. Although the incidence of MH in thoracic surgery is low, its mortality rate is high. Massive airway bleeding (hemoptysis) and major vascular injuries have been identified as conditions with a high risk of MH. In thoracic surgery, MH is a rare but life-threatening condition. Effective communication between the operating room team and the blood bank, along with a well-organized approach, is crucial. Ensuring adequate intravenous access during MH is a priority. Additionally, patient positioning should be carefully managed to increase preload and cerebral perfusion. Intraoperative MH is a rare but highly fatal condition in thoracic surgery
Repeatability of radiomics parameters in cone beam computed tomography volumes
Introduction: This study aimed to evaluate the repeatability of radiomic features extracted from cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) images and to identify specific radiomic features suitable for use in CBCT studies. Methods: In this study, radiomic analysis was conducted using the 3D Slicer program on two CBCT scans obtained at different time points from each of 33 individuals, using the same CBCT device. A total of 107 radiomics features were extracted from the segmented C2 (Axis) data in all cases. The results of the radiomic analysis were evaluated using the Intraclass Correlation Coefficient (ICC) in the SPSS program to assess repeatability. Results: As a result of the analysis, 25 out of 107 radiomic features demonstrated excellent repeatability (ICC > 0.90). These included nine of the 14 shape-based features, four of the 18 first-order features, two of the 24 GLCM features, three each from the 14 GLDM, 14 GLRLM, and 16 GLSZM features, and one of the five NGTDM features. Conclusion: The grey-value dependent second-order radiomic features obtained from CBCT images have been found to exhibit lower repeatability compared to shape and first-order features. The poor repeatability of grayscale parameters should be taken into account when performing radiomics analysis of CBCT volumes
Enhancements in morphology, biochemicals, nutrients, and L-Dopa in Faba bean through plant growth promoting rhizobacteria and arbuscular mycorrhizal Fungi
Faba beans are among the main food sources grown since ancient times; seeds contain higher protein (23-41%) than other legumes and are rich in healthy secondary bioactive components. This study was carried out to determine the effects of plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) on the biofortification potential of faba beans. The study utilized Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus megaterium, and an AMF mix to examine changes in growth parameters, chlorophyll content, bioactive compounds, and mineral nutrients. AMF and PGPR treatments significantly enhanced various traits in faba bean pods compared to untreated control plants. Bacillus subtilis treatment increased the antioxidant capacity by 128% and the total phenol content by 230%. AMF inoculation elevated the L-Dopa content, an essential compound for Parkinson's disease prevention, by 92%. Protein content increased by 51% with Bacillus megaterium inoculations. The macro and micronutrients exhibited the highest enhancement in AMF treatment (Ca; 33.6%, K; 49.4%, Mg; 22.7%, P; 10.5%, Fe; 37.7%, Zn; 24.5%). The study results suggest that AMF and PGPR inoculation to faba bean seeds improves the morphological characteristics, bioactive compounds, and mineral nutrient content and is an excellent tool for obtaining biofortified faba beans through sustainable practice
