No full textIn modern school teachers are the main actuators and initiators in the process oflearning, upbringing and development of pupils. The paper considers how futureteachers perceive the social impacts on their musical preferences. The research partbrings the results of the empirical research conducted with 78 students of the Facultyof Education in Užice, Serbia. Students’ opinions on social factors that influenced thedevelopment of their musical preferences, changes and influences on them duringtheir growing up was examined. The results show that students’ musical preferenceschanged over time in relation to different social influences
RESEARCH ON THE FACTORS LEADING TO EARLY SCHOOL LEAVING
No full textThe consequences of early school leaving affect people throughout their entire livesby increasing their risk of unemployment, poverty, and social exclusion, includingthrough reducing their children’s chances of succeeding at school. In thespecialized literature, there are several explanatory mechanisms for early schoolleaving phenomenon, and the factors that influence it are distributed in differentorders or on different priority levels. In this paper, we present an analysis of thefactors leading to early leaving from vocational education and training, based ontwo types of research, background research, and through questionnaires,conducted within an Erasmus+ project, in six European countries. In spite ofdifferent educational systems, the factors leading to early school leaving do notvary that much from country to country. Some factors sometimes have almostsimilar values and preferences, and sometimes they differ, less or more, even tillthe situation they are opposite, from a participating country to another

No full textThe effective teacher's mediation specifically take place in adapting learning content and learning environment, according to the students' learning needs. As the studies confirm, technologies do not directly effect on students' learnings if they are not used in multimodal way by the teacher. This leads to a rethinking the teacher's technological and digital skills and to deepen the teacher’s multimodal ability to integrate teaching resources. Starting from the researches on teaching differentiation, the proposal describes an in-depth study on the multimodal strategies of an history teacher in case of a student with Autism in a Primary School class. The triangulation analysis of data highlighted emerging aspects concerning three levels of differentiation strategies: content, process and product. These findings, confirming the meta-analyses already known, offer insights on the teachers’ multimodal skill and lead to deepen the studies on the relationship between digital resources and school inclusion

No full textSocial networks are gaining more and more users among adults and adolescents. Socialization is not done anymore, nowadays face to face, but online. One of the major effects of this phenomenon is the socialization difficulties that preschool children have when entering kindergarten. The purpose of the present research is to improve the socialization capabilities of preschoolers, using as a method the counseling of parents. The counseling process lasted two months and have been approached topics related to parent-child relationships, parent’s identification of the child's stimulation needs, ways of meeting these needs, parents 'involvement in the children's games, parents' collaboration with the kindergarten represented by educator and social worker. The intensity of the difficulties of socializing the children was appreciated at the beginning and the end of the experiment. The results show that if the parents are more involved in the activities of the children following the counseling by the social worker, then their ability to socialize will see significant improvements

Get PDFThe period of adolescence includes an ensemble oftransformations that tend to a bio-psycho-social and extremelynuanced evolution. This period represents a complex stage ofdevelopment on the road to maturity and includes a series ofconflicting states: revolt, annoyance, stress, anxiety,restlessness, pressure build-up, etc., all of which take place asa result of cognitive, social, emotional and physicaltransformations. The high school profile followed byadolescents can determine their involvement in achievinggood results, and certain personality traits can influence theirschool outcomes.Research hypotheses:1. It is assumed that there is a significantcorrelation in student performance and their personality traits.2. It is assumed that there is a significant difference in studentperformance and the profile of graduate high school.Research instruments:To conduct this research we used theFFPI Questionnaire, and for evaluating students’performances we analyzed the overall average of each year ofhigh school and the average in the first semester of the 12thgrade. Participants were trained to give the first answer thatcomes to mind that matches their usual behavior. To keep thedata confidentiality were used only the questionnaireidentification codes without mentioning personal data.Lot of participants:Considering that normality andhomogeneity conditions were met, we applied the T Test forindependent samples to verify Pearson's first hypothesis andthe correlation for verifying the second hypothesis. Samplingwas stratified by choosing from each class the first fivestudents and the last five students as school performance. Thesample comprised 100 students in terminal classes from realand socio-human profiles.Conclusions:School performance is influenced by personalitytraits, and school performance differs depending on thelyceum profile. Vocational students are oriented towardssocial issues, working with children, while those in theoreticare concerned about the concrete aspects of life. Moststudents already have a system of interests that they set upduring high school

Get PDFAll around the world, there is a explosion of cosmeticsurgery industry, growing daily. An emerging literature indicatethat the cosmetic surgery industry should be more strict about thechoice who they accept for treatment. Recent studies assesing theprevalence of body dismorphic disorder (BDD), and the multiplepsychological aspects of this menthal health disorder by patientsseeking help and hope in plastic/esthetic surgerys andcosmetic/MI (minimally invasive) interventions. This paperexamines, as suggested by recent literature, severalpsychological aspects of menthal illness BDD. We discuss theimplication of these finding and offer direction for futureresearch. The results shows how many symptoms are includet inthis disorder and that the individuals who have BDD areconsidered high risk patients.Conclusion.We conclude that, allthe teams involved in the cosmetic surgery industry should bemore strict about the choice who they accept for treatment.Theawairness of plastic/estethic surgeons using screening tools, asstandardised daily practice, to identify patients affected byBDD.The refferal after the recognition of BDD, to a psychiateror psychologist are important steps to an adequate treatment.Forpatient safety to etablish standards tools for minimize thelikelyhood of intervention complication and to avoidpsychological complication
