Reich Type Contractions on Cone Rectangular Metric Spaces Endowed with a Graph

In this paper we prove some fixed point theorems for Reich type contractions on cone rectangular metric spacesendowed with a graph without assuming the normality of cone. The results of this paper extends and generalize severalknown results from metric, rectangular metric, cone metric and cone rectangular metric spaces in cone rectangularmetric spaces endowed with a graph. Some examples are given which illustrate the results

Exponential Stability versus Polynomial Stability for Skew-Evolution Semiflows in Infinite Dimensional Spaces

As the dynamical systems that model processes issued from engineering, economics or physics are extremely complex, ofgreat interest is to study the solutions of dierential equations by means of associated evolution families. In this paper we emphasizesome notions of asymptotic stability for skew-evolution semiflows on Banach spaces, such as exponential and polynomialstability, in a nonuniform setting. Examples for every concept and connections between them are also presented, as well as somecharacterizations

    On Threshold Voltage Variation-Tolerant Designs

Scaling CMOS transistors has been used to achieve smaller, faster, and cheaper integrated circuits. However, with CMOS transistors moving deep towards the nanometer range, the eects threshold voltage (VTH) variations(besides other variations and noises) play on their reliabilities and that of the gates they are forming are worrying. For mitigating against this trend, sizing can be used to improve on the reliability of the CMOS gates. Simultaneously, sizing can also reduce power or maintain speed while only marginally aecting area. For evaluating the advantagessizing still holds, inverters of dierent sizings are compared in this paper with reliability enhanced inverters usingwell-known redundancy schemes like triple modular redundancy and hammock networks. Simulation results showthat, at the same reliability, sizing can lead to designs outperforming those obtained by the other methods on any of thedesign parameters (i.e., area, power or delay). These are reinforcing previous reports showing that space redundancyapplied at the device-level outperform gate-level solutions

Ghrist Barcoded Video Frames. Application in Detecting Persistent Visual Scene Surface Shapes captured in Videos

This article introduces an application of Ghrist barcodes in the study of persistent Betti numbers derived from vortex nervecomplexes found in triangulations of video frames. A Ghrist barcode (also called a persistence barcode) is a topology of data pictographuseful in representing the persistence of the features of changing shapes. The basic approach is to introduce a free Abeliangroup representation of intersecting filled polygons on the barycenters of the triangles of Alexandroff nerves. An Alexandroff nerveis a maximal collection of triangles of a common vertex in the triangulation of a finite, bounded planar region. In our case, theplanar region is a video frame. A Betti number is a count of the number of generators is a finite Abelian group. The focus hereis on the persistent Betti numbers across sequences of triangulated video frames. Each Betti number is mapped to an entry in aGhrist barcode. Two main results are given, namely, vortex nerves are Edelsbrunner-Harer nerve complexes and the Betti numberof a vortex nerve equals k + 2 for a vortex nerve containing k edges attached between a pair of vortex cycles in the nerve

The Role Of Students' Emotional And Behavioral Status In Sports Performance: 10.62591/ajpa.2025.13.02

    No full text
The present study explores the influence of emotional and behavioral status on sports performance among students. The relationship between the emotional state and the behaviors associated with sport is complex and bidirectional, influencing the levels of motivation, concentration, resilience and team cohesion (Ionescu, 2018). Thus, it is essential for coaches and teachers to understand these dimensions in order to optimize sports training and support the personal development of students. The paper brings into discussion various theoretical models and empirical research that highlight the role of emotional states in sports performance, providing recommendations for effective interventions

The Effectiveness Of Kinesiotherapy In Managing The Risk Of Muscle Injuries In Bodybuilders: 10.62591/ajpa.2025.13.11

    No full text
Bodybuilding, as a sports discipline, involves a rigorous training regimen primarily focused on developing muscle hypertrophy and maximal strength. Practiced at both recreational and competitive levels, bodybuilding entails systematic and progressive loading of the musculoskeletal system, resulting in significant biomechanical stress on muscle groups, joints, and myofibrillar units involved (Zemper, 2005). Repeated stress, particularly in the absence of appropriate recovery strategies, increases susceptibility to muscle injuries, which can range from mild muscle strains to partial or complete muscle fiber tears (Orchard & Best, 2002).Muscle injuries not only affect immediate athletic performance but can also significantly impact the continuity of training, functional balance, and, in severe cases, compromise the athlete’s long-term ability to compete at a high level (Järvinen et al., 2005). Consequently, preventing these dysfunctions has become a strategic priority in modern sports performance management (Ekstrand et al., 2011)

”DOG LEGENDS” BOOK SERIES-THE HERO ARCHETYPE IN EMOTIONAL EDUCATION AND THE FORMATION OF THE CHILD AS MORAL BEING : 10.24250/jpe/2/2025/MCM/

    No full text
This paper examines the “Dog Legends” book series as aneducational narrative intervention with formative potentialin moral and emotional development of children. Throughan interpretative qualitative analysis, I investigate thestructure and coherence of these stories with hero’s myth(Campbell), narrative archetypes (Pearson), theories aboutmeaning (Frankl), the child-animal relationship (Melson),and moral development (Killen & Smetana). These caninecharacters become symbolic figures through which thechild crosses stages like fear, hesitation, moral choice andinner transformation. The story functions as a symbolicspace for reflection and building meaning, in an accessibleand profound emotional framework. The results suggest theapplicability of the series in contexts like moral education, counseling, and personal growth, offering a narrativealternative to the directive models. “Dog Legends”proposes a pedagogy of accompaniment, not correction inwhich the child is recognized as a hero of their ownbecoming, not a passive recipient of norms
