    No full text
This research examines the perceived influence of teacherprofessional training on pedagogical practicesand student performance in biology. In order to facilitatethe investigation, three (3) research questions and two (2)hypotheses were formulated. A multistage samplingtechnique was employed to select a cohort of 14 biologyeducators and 200 students. A questionnaire wasutilized to extract data from the educators, while studentperformance metrics were employed to gatherinformation from the learners. Cronbach Alphareliability coefficient was utilized to evaluate theinstrument's reliability, resulting in a coefficient of 0.78.Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) wasutilized to perform descriptive statistical analyses, specifically mean and standard deviation, to address theresearch questions, whereas inferential statistics was explored to evaluate the hypotheses posited at a significantlevel of 0.05. The findings indicate that teachers’training and development programme significantlyinfluenced lesson planning and delivery. Similarly, the coefficient of teachers’training and development programmes significantly influenced students’performance in Biology. Based on the outcomes of ourfindings, it is recommended that educators shouldengage in continuous training and professionaldevelopment programmes to remain informed andcurrent in both biological content and pedagogicalmethodologies

Stability Analysis Results Concerning the Fuzzy Control of a Class of Nonlinear Time-Varying Systems

The paper offers new stability results concerning the Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy control systems dedicated to a class of Single Input-SingleOutput (SISO) nonlinear time-varying systems. Lyapunov’s approach based on quadratic positive definite Lyapunov function candidates is emplyedto derive a suffcient uniform asymptotic stability condition. An illustrative example validates the stability analysis results by the design of a T-Sfuzzy control system for a SISO nonlinear process

A-Double Sequence Spaces and Double Statistical Convergence in 2-Normed Spaces Defined by Orlicz Functions

    No full text
The main aim of this paper is to introduce a new class of sequence spaces which arise from the notion of invariant means,de la Valee-Pousin means and double lacunary sequence with respect to an Orlicz function in 2-normed space. Some propertiesof the resulting sequence space were also examined. Further we study the concept of uniformly (¯;)-statistical convergence andestablish natural characterization for the underline sequence spaces

Satellite Formation Control Using the Approximating Sequence Riccati Equations

In this study we develop a reliable algorithm to control the satellite formation using the Approximating Sequenceof Riccati Equations(ASRE) minimizing the fuel consumption and the deviation of the orbit from the nominal orbit. The nonlinear Clohessy -Wiltshire(CW) equations of motions are used to describe the motion of the satellite formationabout a virtual reference position maintained at the formation center. The nonlinear dynamics of the system will befactorized in such a way that the new factorized system is accessible. The problem is tackled using the ApproximatingSequence Riccati Equations(ASRE) method. The technique is based on Linear Quadratic Regulator(LQR) with fixedterminal state, which guarantees closed loop solution

In this paper, we introduce the generalized Kannan type alpha-admissible mappings in the setting of cone metric spaces equipped with Banach algebra. Our results generalize and extend the fixed point result for Kannan type mappings in metric and cone metric spaces. An example is presented which illustrates our main result

Effective Methods For Assessing General Strength In High School Students: 10.62591/ajpa.2025.13.08

    No full text
Physical education and sports have particularly large social tasks, and this aspect constitutes a signal of attention for physical education and sports teachers, as high school students are approaching the completion of biological growthThe motor quality strength is present in school curricula at each level of study. In the preparation of students, interdependent relationships are created between the components of the preparation, between the development of motor qualities, the development of morpho-functional indices and the acquisition of motor skills. As research objectives, we aimed to: carry out initial testing on 4 control samples in different classes of the high school cycle and in SAM classes; go through a system of lessons intended for the development of the motor quality strength, a system with increasing intensity and complexity from one year of study to another; establish a set of measures necessary to improve the current teaching and evaluation system in the discipline “Physical Education”. The materials, methods and means used were adapted to the working conditions in an improvised gym, with reduced height, width and length. We specify that there is no possibility of developing strength in a coherent system of lessons due to the delicate period we are going through. The development of motor qualities is necessary to achieve the other requirements of the curriculum. Knowing the level of development of the motor quality strength, as well as its evolution curve is of particular importance, therefore, as results, correlating the data obtained from parallel classes, for each test, as well as for the evolutions recorded in them over the course of one or two years, the values obtained are calculated, differentiated for boys and girl

The Importance Of Selection And The Influence Of An Assisted Training Program On The Development Of Motor Skills In Children A Comparative Study: 10.62591/ajpa.2025.13.12

The multiple aspects related to the importance of selection in the sports field are one of the fundamental requirements and, at the same time, the premises for successful results in the long term. The objectives of this study were to achieve a rigorous selection, adapted to the specifics of athletic events, considering a variety of parameters that, integrated, outline the general sports profile of the children included in the research. The methods used included the initial and final testing of the students remaining in the study group, in order to obtain a more objective and precise assessment of the individual motor skills. Before deciding on the inclusion of children in the specialized training process, it is recommended that they follow a unitary basic training program, lasting between 1 and 3 months, to balance the initial level of motor development. The results obtained highlight significant differences between the two analysed groups. The final mean values support the hypothesis that the students in group A (experimental), who benefited from an additional assisted sports training program, structured according to a SWOT analysis, obtained superior results compared to the control group. This demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed intervention and the relevance of a well-founded selection, followed by a period of preparation adapted to the specific needs of each child
