The Holy Quran Revelation: Copper and it’s Astonishing benefits for Humankind from a Chemical Perspective
One of the most important grants of God Almighty to mankind is iron and other metals such as Copper. The reality that there is mention of copper (Cu) in the Holy Quran can be considered as a sign of it’s big importance for the human life. The fact that copper was mentioned several times either under it’s pure form or alloyed with iron might be a sign this metal is so useful for us and without it the human civilization would not progress. Verses "Ayat” of the Holy Quran are rich in meanings and words that need to be deeply managed and checked for understanding. The interpreters have begun to explain these meanings and words for thousands of years. However, as is well known, the Qur’an has lot of secrets that make it renewed and parallel to every age. In view of the modern scientific discoveries, many of the words of the Holy Quran have potential aspects of interpretation which are useful in understanding the purpose of these words. Therefore, most scholars have many scientific ideas and terms that explain the interpretation of the verses of the Quran and some of the Qur’anic terms from a scientific perspective that illustrates the scientific miracles in the Holy Quran. In this study we have addressed the Qur’anic word "Qitr" which was interpreted by the exponents as the dissolved copper in the field of Chemistry
Uptake of Wildlife Research in Botswana: Summary of Findings
This study set out to identify and understand whether research carried out in or about Botswana has been focused on producing useful and used work in the area of wildlife and related natural resources, with a view to improving the management of these resources. The study investigated this by examining the interactions of researchers and stakeholders engaged in the management, conservation, and use of wildlife resources in northern Botswana. This work draws on the idea that broader societal impact of research can be estimated by following interactions of researchers with potential users of their research throughout the research process. This approach, based on the idea of productive interactions, acknowledges the difficulty of attributing the uptake, use, and impacts of research findings, and moves the focus of investigation from outcomes at the end point of investigation to all the stages and processes of research. Interactions of researchers with potential users of the research - its stakeholders - increase the likelihood of research findings being put to use. In the thesis, this process is viewed through the concept of an extended community of practice that demonstrates mutual engagement, joint enterprise, and shared repertoire. The study used a mixed methods case study approach including literature review, surveys of principal investigators working under Government of Botswana permits and audience members of a public outreach event, interviews, analysis of document content and bibliographic records, and ad hoc participant observation to establish patterns of interaction among researchers and stakeholders working in northern Botswana, and to investigate perceptions of research use. The study found that the northern Botswana's research community of practice consists of a strong core of researchers based in academic institutions and Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) who interact with more loosely connected members of the private sector and several levels of government, and with local community members. Findings included that researchers who engage with non-academic stakeholders outside the inner core of this community of practice at early stages, and throughout the research process, are more likely to see their research applied. Their success also appears to be linked to their commitment to working longer-term in northern Botswana, which allows for more, and deeper, interactions with stakeholders. Findings of this study point to validation of the concept of productive interactions in a local community of practice, with effects that extend beyond Botswana and southern Africa. While productive interactions are already taking place in this community, many of them brokered by NGOs, increased deliberate incorporation of the productive interactions approach into the practice of government managers, researchers, and the tourism private sector is likely to increase the relevance, awareness, and uptake of the resulting findings, and to build trust and understanding among research stakeholders

Business leaders with aptitude for using data intelligibly will be able to perform better post COVID-19 outbreak era (McAfee & Brynjolfsson, 2012). Businesses can no longer ignore the role data plays in making crucial decisions about the next major step to be taken, particularly during the time of disaster or facing potential threats resulting from COVID-19 or similar occurrences. Data informed decision-making will be beneficial to leaders who need to be at the vanguard of knowledge generation within the realm of ideation. COSTA Technique on the webQDA software provides organisations with cutting-edge technology using mix-media applications and web-based strategies to keep up with current trends, insights and muti-perspectival stakeholder analysis in real-time with high levels of efficiency and integrity. This paper presents ideas adapted to the capabilities framework developed by Jia, Hall and Song (2015), addressing five key dimensions in decision-making, such as data governance, data analytics, insights exploitation, performance management and data integration. Using the COSTA Model technique with webQDA, we present how large volumes of textual data, also known and referred to as “big qualitative data” may be transformed to structured, coherent, meaningful and timely decision-making enablers
A Diachronic Analysis Of The Socio-Semantic Features Of Igbo Personal Names
This paper examines Igbo personal names from the perspectives of anthropological linguistics, socio-semantics, pragmatics and diachrony. It traces the evolution of name-giving within three major eras, pre-Christian (before the 1850s), early-Christian (from 1857--1960s) and Pentecostal (1960s to date) among the Igbo. The data for the study are 300 personal names sourced through interviews with both old and young members of the Igbuzo-Igbo community as well as from class registers of some nursery, primary and secondary schools in Port Harcourt. This paper reveals three interesting and important findings. First, indigenous Igbo names are culturally, semantically and pragmatically significant. Second, the principles and practice of name-giving have undergone some drastic changes through the eras. During the early-Christian and Pentecostal eras, the forces of Christianity, modernization and globalization have resulted in new names that reflect these changes. Third, indigenous names which belong to the core vocabulary of the language are seriously endangered. The paper concludes that if the indigenous names that are replete with meaning, and portray the values, identity and the beauty of the Igbo culture are allowed to die through lack of intergenerational transmission, then this aspect of the language and culture will also die
Teacher-Students’ Relationship and Students’ Academic Performance in Public Secondary Schools in Magu District, Tanzania
This study explored the influence of teacher – students’ relationship on students’ academic performance in Tanzania using Magu District as a case study. The sample for this study was 130 respondents that were drawn from six public secondary schools both by using rondom sampling and purposive sampling; 6 school Heads, 57 teachers, 66 students and one District Educational Officer. A descriptive survey approach was used in this study. In order to get information, the researcher used questionnaire and interview as instruments. The results of this study indicated that teacher–students’ relationship is a crucial determinant and catalyst to academic performance in Tanzanian public secondary schools. The study identified among others that teacher - students relationships helps students to feel cared for by their teachers, helps students to have freedom of expression in the classroom and help teachers and students to be an integral part of the classroom as they participate actively. From the findings, it is concluded that despite the fact that teachers and students were aware of the elements of teacher- students relationships poor teacher – student relationships were still recorded in schools. Therefore, it is recommended that teachers should introduce close relationshis with students. Also, the study recommended that, performance of students can only be attained if teacher – students relationships will be maintaine

Modelling Geometric Measure of Variation About the Population Mean
Measures of dispersion are important statistical tool used to illustrate the distribution of datasets. These measures have allowed researchers to define the distribution of various datasets especially the measures of dispersion from the mean. Researchers and mathematicians have been able to develop measures of dispersion from the mean such as mean deviation, variance and standard deviation. However, these measures have been determined not to be perfect, for example, variance give average of squared deviation which differ in unit of measurement as the initial dataset, mean deviation gives bigger average deviation than the actual average deviation because it violates the algebraic laws governing absolute numbers, while standard deviation is affected by outliers and skewed datasets. As a result, there was a need to develop a more efficient measure of variation from the mean that would overcome these weaknesses. The aim of this paper was to model a geometric measure of variation about the population mean which could overcome the weaknesses of the existing measures of variation about the population mean. The study was able to formulate the geometric measure of variation about the population mean that obeyed the algebraic laws behind absolute numbers, which was capable of further algebraic manipulations as it could be used further to estimate the average variation about the mean for weighted datasets, probability mass functions and probability density functions. Lastly, the measure was not affected by outliers and skewed datasets. This shows that the formulated measure was capable of solving the weaknesses of the existing measures of variation about the mea
