Enhancing Redis Cache Efficiency Based on Dynamic TTL and Adaptive Eviction Mechanism
Common caching strategies used in Redis are often inefficient when dealing with complex data structures, leading to inefficient memory usage and degraded system performance. This work presents the idea of decomposing complex data structures into simpler sub-elements and a custom caching strategy is applied to each of them. This custom caching strategy is based on dynamic Time-To-Live (TTL) determination and an assessment of real-time access patterns to more accurately balance data retention and eviction. It determines the need for eviction based on the combination of the weight of each key along with the advantages of the Least Recently Used (LRU) and Least Frequently Used (LFU) algorithms. Developed using C# on the.NET platform with the StackExchange. Redis library, the suggested solution aims to improve cache hit rates and reduce memory overhead in high-load scenarios. The results of the experiment confirm the promising nature of the developed adaptive strategy.Taip / Ye

The possibilities of applying Kansei engineering and eye-tracking to enhance the user experience of the website
Kansei engineering focuses on developing or improving products and services by projecting the customer’s
psychological feelings and needs into the field of product design. The main objective of the presented paper is to analyze
Kansei engineering and the use of eye-tracking on a specific website, focusing on consumer experience when using
the website and on its selected elements. The study includes a questionnaire survey the results of which are processed
using IBM SPSS and GRETL software. For calculation of the required metrics over the time frame of interest, the multimodal
software package Imotions is used. The research sample consists of 54 respondents (Management students),
of which 52% (N = 28) were female and 48% (N = 26) were male aged 18 to 26 years. The results obtained indicate
that there are several statistically significant correlations between the examined variables, namely between website design
and clear understanding of controls, website transparency and color, product variety and order placement, and
between easy website navigation and information display. Discussion of these results allows to identify which products
or areas of a webpage are attractive to users and why. This approach can be applied to various types of websites, from
e-shops to information portals, and makes it easier to propose effective improvements aimed at increasing interaction,
satisfaction and conversions.Taip / YesScientific Grant Agency of the Slovak Ministry of EducationVEGA 1/0428/2
Optimization of steel frame thin-walled member cross-sections
Disertacijos tema paskelbti 5 straipsniai: du – mokslo žurnaluose, įtrauktuose į Web of Science duomenų bazę, vienas – tarptautinėje duomenų bazėje referuojamame leidinyje, du – tarptautinių konferencijų darbų leidiniuose. The dissertation investigates steel thin-walled structures and their calculation methods. The load-bearing capacity of steel thin-walled structural elements subjected to combinations of compression and compression-bending forces is limited by different buckling modes. The local buckling mode is predominant in thin-walled structures. It has been established that thin-walled cross-sections with internal or edge stiffeners are more effective. The distortional buckling mode appears in the cross-sectional stiffeners. Ultimately, the structures are subjected to global buckling. Therefore, the selection of an optimal thin-walled structural cross-section is a complex process. The main goal of the dissertation is to optimize steel thin-walled structures and their cross-sections. The possibilities of forming thin-walled cross-sections and calculation and optimization methods are investigated to achieve the dissertation’s goal.
The dissertation consists of four parts, including an Introduction, three chapters, Conclusions, and References.
The Introduction reveals the investigated problem, the importance of the dissertation, and the object of research. It describes the purpose and tasks of the paper, research methodology, scientific novelty, the practical significance of results, and defended statements. The Introduction ends by listing the author’s publications on the dissertation’s subject and presentations made at conferences and defining the structure of the dissertation.
The First Chapter revises the literature used. It presents calculation methods of steel thin-walled structures, introduces thin-walled built-up cross-sections, and reviews studies on cross-section optimization. Finally, it presents the investigated steel thin-walled cross-sections of portal frames. At the end of the chapter, conclusions are drawn, and the tasks for the dissertation are reconsidered.
The Second Chapter formulates the optimization problem for the cross-section of thin-walled steel structures. It describes a developed and verified method for calculating the resistance of internal stiffeners of steel thin-walled cross-sections to distortional buckling to obtain more efficient cross-sections.
The Third Chapter addresses the optimization problems of column and portal frame element cross-sections. It proposes closed-type thin-walled cross-sections for portal frame elements, which are more efficient than open-type cross-sections, and suggests a solution for portal frame joints with optimal cross-sections.
Five articles were published on the dissertation topic: two in scientific journals referred to in the Clarivate Analytics Web of Science database, one in the international journal database, and two in peer-reviewed international conference proceedings

Contribution of community-based tourism to fostering sustainable tourism development
The purpose of the present study is to investigate the effect of community-based tourism factors on sustainable
tourism development, investigate the consequences of community-based tourism on local communities, including
the distribution of benefits and any potential negative repercussions, and explore the long-term viability of tourism
ventures and their influence on local resources. The emphasis on sustainable tourism development in Oman arose as
the nation sought to reduce its reliance on oil according to Oman Vision 2040. The contribution of CBT to this vision
necessitates a shared understanding among policymakers, tourism practitioners, and local communities. Preliminary
data was collected through online questionnaires from 402 respondents from local community, representatives of tourism
sector and tourists in Dhofar region of Oman. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was used to analyse the data
by WarpPLS software. The findings indicate that the three factors of community-based tourism (i.e., Economic Factor,
Social Factor, and Environmental Factor) have significantly affect Sustainable Tourism Development (STD). This work
is among the first empirical studies in this field, and its results can be useful for tourism sector to increase a better
awareness of the potential advantages and difficulties of CBT as well as how to apply it in their particular domains.Taip / Ye
