Fuzzy Logic Control Implementation for Grid-Connected Multilevel Inverter Using FPGA-Based CORDIC-PLL Synchronization
This paper discusses a novel approach to control a grid-connected multilevel inverter using Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) implemented Fuzzy controlled Coordinate Rotation Digital Computer Phase-Locked Loop PLL (CORDIC-PLL) system for achieving improved inverter performance in injecting active and reactive power into the grid under changing grid conditions of operation. A seven-level cascaded Hbridge inverter topology is used to reduce total harmonic distortion without the need for large filtering components. The CORDIC-PLL system gives fine phase information for synchronization, while the fuzzy logic controller (FLC) makes adjustment in the output of the inverter by changing amplitude factors of carrier signals and phase angles for power injection control. In this way, experimental results depicted the effectiveness of the proposed system with significant improvements related to power quality and system stability.
Design, Modeling, and Comprehensive Analysis for The Wing of an Aircraft
This study examines the design and analysis of a training aircraft wing. The methodology includes aerodynamic and stress analyses. Microsoft Excel is utilized for scaling. Aerodynamic forces, load distribution, and air foil comparison computations were performed by Xflr 5. Inventor was used for stress analysis, which yielded wing deflections, Von Mises stresses, and safety factors. AutoCAD was employed to draw wing parts. The proper design for the cross-sectional shape of the inner wing components was determined. The goal is to find the lightest cross-section, the placements and numbers of wing ribs, and calculate the wing's dimensions. The findings revealed that wing tip deflection did not exceed 0.02. The von Mises calculations also show that the chosen material meets the requisite safety factor. For I and U sections, the deflection, von Mises stresses, and safety factor were 46.52mm and 43.27mm, 219.3 MPa and 152.7MPa, and 1.25 and 1.8, respectively

????? ??????? ??????? ????? ????? ?????? ???? ????? ??????? ??????? ,??? ?????? ??? ??? ?????? ?????? ??????? ????? ?????? ?????? ???????? ????? ?????? ?????? ??????????? ?????????? ?????? ???????Through the current study, we seek to present and analyze the Tsinghua University Green Initiative quality strategy and its field applications at the Northern Technical University, based on its importance and adoption by many international universities, as it is based on a central principle represented by the "green university" as a basic pillar adopted by the university in various daily university activities. Three dimensions are essential pillars that achieve this principle represented by (green education quality, green research quality, green campus quality), starting from a main question: Does the university under study adopt the dimensions of the Tsinghua University Green Initiative quality? We adopted the descriptive analytical approach from relevant modern sources, reports, records and interviews that document the extent of application of these dimensions, in addition to the questionnaire form. The study sample included the university president's assistants, department directors, division and unit officials and their assistants. Based on the results of the study, we presented a number of conclusions, the most important of which is that the Northern Technical University applies the dimensions adopted by Tsinghua Green University with high rates of agreement. These dimensions played a pivotal role in achieving an advanced position in the field of green universities and their official classifications. Based on the study's conclusions, we presented several proposals and their implementation mechanism for the university under study in order to enhance the application of the dimensions adopted by it, noting that the study is within the fourth goal of sustainable development, which includes ensuring equitable and inclusive quality education for all, and enhancing lifelong learning opportunities for all. The current study included four main axes, the first of which is the study methodology, the second presented the theoretical framework of the study, the third was devoted to the field aspect, and the fourth axis included the conclusions, proposals and their implementation mechanism
COVID-19 Related Thrombocytopenia and Hypertension in Pregnant Patients in Erbil, Kurdistan Region
The ongoing Sever Acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) pandemic has raised significant concerns about the potential impact of the virus on pregnant individuals and their fetuses. This study aims to investigate the association between COVID-19 infection, thrombocytopenia, and hypertension in pregnant women patients, as well as to evaluate thrombocytopenia in pregnant women with COVID-19 infection and/or to detect the risk of a low platelet count in the context of hypertension in pregnant women, with a focus on their combined influence on maternal health and pregnancy outcomes. The current study was conducted in both hospital and private gynecologist clinical settings, in collaboration with medical laboratory analyzers, to collect prospective data in Erbil city, Kurdistan region, Iraq.
From 150 blood sample pregnant women, 100 who tested positive for COVID-19 through PCR and 50 control group was collected. Based on the statistical analysis, our results reveal that 15.1% of individuals exhibited both a low platelet count and low blood pressure. Approximately 93.8% showed normal platelet counts with corresponding normal blood pressure levels. Notably, no cases were reported with high blood pressure and thrombocytosis, compelling evidence emerged suggesting a potential causal link between COVID-19 and an elevated risk of pregnancy-related hypertension disorders. Our findings reveal a statistically significant association between COVID-19 infection and an increased risk of hypertension due to thrombocytopenia in pregnancy (p-value less than 0.05).
In conclusion, among mothers infected with COVID-19 an increased incidence of hypertension in pregnant women due to thrombocytopenia has been reported compared to the control group
Thermodynamic Study of the Tautomerism Schiff Base derived from para-aminophenol by Catalyst
Ortho-Methoxybenzylidene-para-hydroxyaniline, meta-Methoxybenzylidene-para-hydroxyaniline, and para-Hydroxybenzylidene-para-hydroxyaniline, as numbered 1,2,3, were synthesized by standard methods. The chemical structures of these compounds were confirmed previously by physical methods in addition to chemical tests. The tautomerism reactions of the above mentioned imine in this paper required the measurements of ultraviolet absorption spectra of imines under study. The tautomeric equilibrium constants of the Schiff bases under study were determined at five different temperatures ranging from 10°C to 50°C, facilitating the estimation of the equilibrium constants of the tautomerism reactions and the thermodynamic functions, namely ?G, ?H, and ?S, of the Schiff base tautomers
Legume Peptides as Novel Antibacterial Sources for Human Pathogenic Bacteria
Many studies have focused on the use of natural alternatives in the treatment of multidrug-resistant pathogenic bacteria, so the interest focused on Nodule cysteine-rich (NCR) peptides from legumes, exploiting their effect on the differentiation of Rhizobium bacteria within root nodules and inhibiting their growth by affecting the permeability of the bacterial cell membrane. Therefore, concentrations of 50-1.6?g/ml of four NCR peptides extracted from four legumes were used to study their antimicrobial activity on the growth of five genus of multidrug-resistant human pathogenic bacteria. The study was carried out using a disc diffusion method to examine the impact of these peptides on these pathogenic bacteria. It became evident that Gram-positive was more affected by these peptides than Gram-negative bacteria. Using the microplate method, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus showed clear sensitivity to peptides 1 and 2, while Acinetobacter baumannii and Proteus mirabilis were completely resistant to all types of peptides tested. Results in the infected mice revealed that 6.25µg/ml was superior to 50 µg/ml of Medicago sativa peptide in completely healing wounds in laboratory mice 17 days after infection with both Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus. This is the first local study that used NCR peptides from legumes as selected alternatives for antibiotic use

Simulation Bending Behaviour of Shape Memory Alloy Graphene Nanotubes-Reinforced Polymers by Multiscale Finite Element Method
Shape memory alloys (SMAs) have been researched and used in numerous applications. This article discusses a general methodology for the bending behavior of SMA, and the validation of this bending behavior was achieved by reinforcing polyurethane and epoxy polymers with graphene nanotubes using a finite element model. Polyurethane and an epoxy were impregnated with different amounts of graphene volume percent (25, 40, 50, 60, and 75). Some of the mechanical properties that were being studied included tensile strength, strain response, and modulus of elasticity. The results show that with the rise of graphene concentration, reductions in deformation and material are enhanced by stiffness as it changes its ductility and flexibility. An examination of the bending moment of 177 N.mm to determine the variation in the composite stiffness was also done. The results showed that the deformation always decreased with the increase in the quantity of graphene, thus proving the strengthening effect of real bending forces
