Fungal Urinary Tract Infections in Pediatric Age Groups

    Get PDF
One of the most prevalent and recurring bacterial diseases in kids is urinary tract infections (UTI). At least 8% of girls and 2% of boys are thought to suffer UTIs as children. The fungi are often linked to UTIs, and their antibiotic susceptibility patterns change over time and across various environments. To choose the best empirical antimicrobial therapy, it is crucial to understand the trends of uropathogenic antibiotic resistance in certain geographic areas. Therefore, this research assesses the causal organisms in urine samples and their antibiotic susceptibility profile among patients who visit Mosul's general outpatient department clinic. Due to space restrictions, our research primarily focused on fungus-related UTIs in children (2–12) years old. . Adult infections, reflux nephropathy, catheter-associated and nosocomial infections, medication assessment for particular antimicrobials, and viral and rickettsial infections are only a few examples of the subjects covered. The study intends to close a gap in the literature about how candiduria manifests in pediatric inpatients and outpatients. The current study's objective was to ascertain the prevalence of candiduria among kids visiting External laboratories in Mosul, Iraq. Additionally, isolates' sensitivity to several antifungal medications was taken into consideration

    Get PDF
On February 25, 2022 at 08:39:29 Local Time an unexpected earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 Mw struck the Western part of Sumatera, onshore, and located on the blind fault. It is very likely that the earthquake was from Angkola Fault, but there is still a possibility that there are still other active faults in this area that have not been mapped yet. The areas that were affected by the earthquake are Pasaman, West Pasaman, Limapuluh Kota, Padang Pariaman and Agam regencies. The focal mechanism from BMKG show that the dominant mechanism of this earthquake was the right lateral (dextral) strike slip. The worst devastation was in West Pasaman and the damage from this earthquake was wide spread. An estimated 6627 houses have been destroyed and 70 mosques were damaged, 41 offices were devastated, 208 schools and educational institutions, 25 medical infrastructures, and 5 bridges were damaged. An on-site post-event survey was carried out to investigate the effects. We conduct mapping ground ruptures and cracking in an effort to find surface expression of fault rupture. Right after the main shock, a few seismometers were deployed near the epicenter to monitor the aftershocks. By using macro seismic observation, micro seismic measurement, and impact documentation, we also find collateral impact that is flash flood and soil landslide which broken some access points. The destructive earthquake is a reminder of the serious future seismic threats to comply implementation of the Building Codes

    Get PDF
This paper is regarding the design and program of a Microcontroller Arduino Uno board using Arduino software to work as a photo-sensor (Active) Single Axis Solar Tracker System (SASTS). A solar panel, two photo-resistors which are also known as Light-Dependent Resistors (LDRs) on two sides (north/south) of the photovoltaic (PV,) and a servo motor are connected to the Uno board, which is previously running a code that is prepared by Arduino Integrated Development Environment (IDE) then it works as a tracking system. Here, the LDRs send the signal of the presence or absence of the light to the board and based on that signal the Uno reflects a new signal to the servo motor to rotate and find the light source. Lastly, the photo sensor single-axis tracker is made. While the system tries to move the panel face to the sun and change the irradiance intensity, in the meantime it starts a search to find the angle of the highest irradiance. Based on the results that are extracted from the data, the tracker system significantly boosts the output power ratio of the solar panel. Through using the Micro-controller Uno board, LDRs, servo motor, and specially designed mechanical base, the tracking system is constructed, determined from acquired data the influence of the STS on increasing the solar panel power ratio is tremendously obvious. Significantly, the tracker system rises the power ratio of the PV system. Significantly, the tracker system raises the power ratio of the PV. As a result, the tracker system remarkably boosts the output power ratio of the solar panel and increases by up to 32.18%

After the tremendous development that occurred in the transmission of news and events through television channels, by adopting (IPTV), which works directly on directing the data unit over the Internet instead of transmitting it through analog broadcasting, this development opened the way for content to be broadcast and received as soon as the Internet was available, and a device Newly innovative, which in turn led to increased competition in the speed of news broadcasting with lower costs than before. These modern features in satellite channels imposed on the caller or the gatekeeper additional standards in addition to the traditional media standards. The speed and high ability to transmit visual and audio information added to the responsibilities of the TV star (newscaster, program presenter, news reporter) new burdens, including ethical ones. Within the ethics of practicing the profession, which consists in deliberating and scrutinizing the news before putting it before the eyes and ears of the recipients, as well as other burdens that pertain to the professionalism of media work. The research problem was rooting to make the developments in the digital field supportive of the speed of performance in media work and the accuracy of the news. The aim of the research is to prove that digital development does not call for a decrease in the level of professional media work, but rather to upgrade it, and to engage in honest competition between satellite channels. The research tagged (IPTV Standards of Professional Practice in the Age of Digitization) was divided into five sections. In the first topic, we deal with the methodological framework for research, in the second topic, the basics of IPTV work, and in the third section presenting the added standards in media work after the development in the means of communication, while in the fourth topic The impact of the development of electronic digitization on media work and the outcome of the content analysis study are explained. The fifth section presents the results, conclusions and recommendations
