    The reality of organizational envy at the University of Mosul

    The research focuses on diagnosing the reality of organizational envy at the University of Mosul, and the research aims to identify the most important and most consistent and influential dimensions for the administrative leaders at the University of Mosul. The most important of which is do the administrative leaders have a clear concept of organizational envy, and to achieve the goal of the research, a questionnaire was distributed to a sample of (300) respondents from the University of Mosul. The research came out with a number of results, the most important of which are: The answers of the respondents showed the existence of two types of organizational envy in the field investigated, and this in fact condemns the work in the social entities in which working individuals of different ages, social types, educational qualifications and performance levels meet.                                                                    &nbsp

    Study the Effect of Biofilm Production on Antibiotic Resistance in Proteus mirabilis Isolated from Clinical Samples in Kirkuk City

    Proteus mirabilis is one of the most infectious organisms that inhabits the environment and causes a various infections involving those of the skin, respiratory tract, wounds and urinary tract. One of the main virulence features in P. mirabilis that plays a role in the pathogenesis and antibiotic resistance is the ability to form biofilm. The aim of study was to determine the relation between the antibiotic resistance and the biofilm formation by P. mirabilis. A total of (205) samples were collected from different clinical samples (urine, wound and burn swabs) in Kirkuk city hospitals. (32) Isolates were identified as P. mirabilis. Eight antibiotic discs were used for the antibiotic sensitivity test by disc diffusion method. Also, a micro titter plate method used for the detection of biofilm. The results of the antibiotic sensitivity showed variation in the rates of antibiotic resistance, doxycycline 29(90.6%), Trimethoprim- sulfamethaxole 27(84.37%), Ampicillin 22(68.75%) and amoxicillin/clavulanic 21(65.62%) resistance were found in the majority of the isolates. Gentamicin and cefotaxim (37.5%, 40.6%) respectively were moderate resistance, while Imipenem and Ciprofloxacin have low resistance and consider the most effective medication against P. mirabilis. The results showed 8 (25%) of P. mirabilis strong biofilm producer, 13 (41.6%) moderate biofilm producer, 8 (25%) weak biofilm producer and 3 (9.37%) non-biofilm producer.     The recently used the technology of biologically producing gold particles, although not much is known about it, its effect on the plant and its development, the extent of the plant’s ability to withdraw it from the growth medium, the mechanism of its transfer to the plant and its sedimentation within it, the percentages of its accumulation and its sizes, and how it affects the plant positively or negatively. The current study aimed to reveal Gold (Au) particles in the mycelium of Fusarium oxysporum, isolated from the soil of the fields of the Agricultural Technical College, Mosul, as well as in the vegetative parts of the Indian and wild variety of mustard plant. At a concentration of 6 ml and a size of 20.90 nm. As for the two cultivars of the mustard plant, 0.2% gold particles were found in it, while the leaves of the wild variety did not have precipitation of particles, and the particle size ranged from 20.90-776.73 nm.     Abstract: The most prevalent chronic illnesses to be identified and treated collectively are dyslipidemias. They are typically identified by  triglycerides serum, cholesterol, or both, Atypical levels of related lipoprotein species, including high of very low density lipoproteins VLDL, low HDL cholesterol, high LDL cholesterol, and a predominance of small dense LDL particles, are also present. are all signs of diabetic dyslipidemia. Chronic Kidney disease (CKD) alone may result in dyslipidemia due to disruption of lipids metabolism. Hyperglycemia and insulin resistance may exacerbate dyslipidemia in diabetic patients with CKD. Patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus  bear a disproportionately high burden of cardiovascular disease , the primary global origin of morbidity and mortality, with the proportion of CVD attributed to diabetes  rising in the general population . A significant microvascular consequence of diabetes is diabetic retinopathy (DR). among developed countries, it is the most frequent cause of blindness among people of working age. The most prevalent neuropathy, diabetic neuropathy, has a variety of clinical symptoms connected with it. After the age of 50, it typically occurs, and people with long-term diabetes mellitus are more likely to experience it. However, macrovascular pathogenesis is also involved. It begins with microvascular damage to the tiny blood arteries that nourish the nerves. The aim of writing this article is that the imbalance of fats and their high concentrations in the human body of a patient with type 2 diabetes generates many complications, which over time are dangerous complications that threaten the life of a diabetic patient and lead to his death if these complications are not controlled because the high levels of sugar and fat in the human body It plays an important role in the development of the patient's condition

    Indirect Spectrophotometric Determination of Metformin Via Decolorization Eriochrome Black-T

    The research included the description of a simple indirect spectrophotometric method for the determination of Metformin, which depended on the oxidation of Metformin with an amount of N- bromosuccinimide in the presence of acetic acid and the excess amount of it oxidized the dye Eriochrome black-T, and the absorption was measured at 520 nm, and the molar absorption coefficient was 4 × 104 L / mol. cm, indicating the sensitivity of the method. And compliance with Beer's law for concentrations ranged from (2-16) micrograms. ML-1, the method was characterized by good accuracy and compatibility, with a recoverability of 100.155%. While the relative standard deviation was less than 1.0.The method was applied to pharmaceutical preparations of Metformin hydrochloride

       The weakness of technical and economic knowledge of beekeepers is one of the factors affecting profit as well as the optimum production volume achieved for economic efficiency, which led to economic problems, among those problems is the decrease in the quantities supplied from bee honey production. The research aimed at studying the most important factors affecting the profit function as well as estimating the function production costs. Cross-sectional data were used in the light of a random sample that included (120) beekeepers from Nineveh Governorate. The results of estimating the profit function showed that the parameters of the function agreed with the logic of the economic theory and the statistical and standard tests. It was shown by the size of the parameters of the function that the amount of output has a great importance in profit compared with the rest of the price variables and the average production costs. As for the ratio for estimating the function of total costs, the results of the study showed that the cubic model is the most suitable for therelationship adopted in the study according to economic theory and statistical and standard tests. Depending on the cost function only, the volume achieved for the economic efficiency of honey production was obtained at the level (10,386) kg / cell. The study also showed that the technical efficiency in honey production amounted to (86%), as well as the estimation of the maximum production volume for honey in the short term, which amounted to (13.885). We infer from the study that the economic resources used in the production process were not optimally invested, which led to a decrease in production efficiency. The results of the studyrecommend working to follow production policies aimed at increasing the economic efficiency of a single cell and achieving optimal use of available resources, which is reflected in an increase in efficiency in the use of productive resources and an improvement in the efficiency of honey production

    This study was conducted to evaluat the toxic influenceof the applied malathion in the liver and kidney tissues in Quail. 18 Quails were distributed in 3 groups. 1 as a control group. Group 2 treated one day every week for 28 days. Group 3 treated one day every two week for 56 days. The result showed in G2 decreases in BW, G3 noticed increased in BW. G2 the hepatocytes plates architectures are disrupted appearances, congestion in sinusoid and in hepatic central vein. Enlargement of portal vein.in G3 showed moderate spread damage of hepatocytesand proliferation of bile duct. congestion in the portal vein & artery. The sinusoid & central vein was expanded & congested. degeneration in the endothelium of central vein. the histopathological changes in the kidney in G2 showing atrophied of the glomeruli ,congestion & infiltration ofl lymphocytes of some glomeruli, in G3 showing congestion , distraction & shrinkage of glomeruli. .In conclusion ;exposure of Quails to local malathion result in marked histopathological changes in G2 more than G3 in liver &kidney tissues and a significant injury in kidney tissues more than liver tissues

    Molecular identification with sequences of infectious bronchitis virus isolations from broiler chickens in Nineveh

    One of the most dreadful infectious viral disease that cause great economic losses for the poultry industry is the infectious bronchitis IB. The present study conducted to epidemiology and the molecular sequences of infectious bronchitis virus from broiler chickens’ fields in Nineveh governorate. The study covered seven regions around the Mosul city included (Al Msayed, Badoosh, Al?Qayara, Wanna, Basheeka, Al-shalalat , Al-hamdanya, and Bartalla) for the period extends from September 2022 to May 2023. The result recorded 16 suspected cases of IB. 14 of them have been diagnosed as IB virus by means of Polymerase Chain Reaction (Nested PCR). Most of the infections were in October and March, five cases of them were recorded in October, four cases in March, two conditions in September, and one case in other months of the study.     Utilizing Fingerphotos with Deep Learning Techniques to Recognize Individuals

    Biometrics based personal verification for mobile phone devices are currently well-known. In this study, a verification approach is suggested depending on fingerphoto pictures. Couple of Deep Fingerphotos Learning (CDFL) approach is proposed, where two Deep Learning (DL) networks are involved. A fingerphoto picture of the index finger is verified using the first DL network. To recognize a fingerphoto picture of a middle finger, another DL network is used. Then, the outputs of the two networks are integrated. Fingerphoto pictures from the IIITD smartphone fingerphoto dataset are used in this work. The results yield that the accuracy of the first DL network is reported as 76.95% and the accuracy of the second DL network is reported as 86.33%. Whereas, the overall accuracy of the proposed CDFL method after integrating both DL networks is benchmarked as 96.48%

These words are specific to certain communities, hindering comprehension for those outside. Natural language processing tasks, like translation and summarization, struggle with informal vocabulary and local dialects. Although existing models can translate informal words, comprehensive solutions are elusive due to regional and contextual variations. Developing natural language processing models that consider informal words and local dialects is crucial for future research. This paper presents an updated dataset of informal English words tailored to current usage. Multiple models from the Transformer core library on the Hugging Face platform were trained and evaluated, with the facebook/bart-base model demonstrating high accuracy (training data loss: 0.05299).
