Currently, nursing education institutions have embraced the teaching and learning methodologies that incorporate simulation-based learning. This approach empowers learners to engage in nursing practice that closely mirrors real-world clinical scenarios, thereby facilitating experiential learning. Following the scenario’s completion, a debriefing session enables learners to engage in reflective analysis of the events, including the rationale behind their decision to practice and their emotional responses during the scenario practice. This approach facilitates a visual recognition of the situation, providing a hands-on experience that promotes more enduring knowledge retention compared to passive listening to lectures, demonstrations, and the subsequent reverting of demonstrations further enhances this learning process. This approach is advantageous for nursing students as it enables them to acquire practical experience, fostering the development of proficient clinical decision-making skills. Furthermore, it enhances their critical thinking abilities and instills confidence in their capacity to provide effective nursing care to patients. Despite its merits, this teaching method necessitates the instructor to adhere to a series of steps, including selecting suitable simulators that correspond to the scenario and course objectives. Consequently, nursing educators and institutions face the challenge of achieving optimal effectiveness in their capacity to educate learners. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to disseminate information and knowledge regarding the application of simulation-based learning in nursing education and other relevant disciplines. The objective is to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of learning experiences for students.

    No full text
The purpose of this study was to enhance role compliance among fine arts education student-teachers during their educational internship phase at public universities in Nanning City, China. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative literature review. The quantitative phase included a stratified random sampling method to select 412 fine arts education student-teachers, and structural equation modeling was conducted using SPSS and PLS. The qualitative phase involved a systematic literature review to provide a comprehensive understanding of the theoretical background and existing research on role compliance. The study identified the impact mechanisms of educational collaboration, teacher learning, role mindfulness, and role identity on role compliance. The results indicated that educational collaboration, role mindfulness, and role identity are key factors in enhancing role compliance. Specifically, educational collaboration significantly influenced teacher learning (β = 0.657, p < 0.001), role mindfulness (β = 0.468, p < 0.001), and role identity (β = 0.293, p < 0.001). Role mindfulness positively influenced role identity (β = 0.281, p < 0.001) and role compliance (β = 0.314, p < 0.001). Role identity also positively influenced role compliance (β = 0.227, p < 0.003). The study recommends that universities and internship schools optimize educational collaboration models and strengthen the cultivation of teacher learning, role mindfulness, and role identity to further enhance role compliance among fine arts education student-teachers. This not only improves the quality of educational internships but also lays a solid foundation for the future professional development of teachers

Legal Protections and Discrimination Against LGBTQ+ Individuals in Thailand

    No full text
This research investigates LGBTQ+ rights and societal attitudes in Thailand, a nation celebrated for its cultural acceptance of diverse sexual orientations and gender identities. Through interviews and focus groups, participants highlighted a disconnect between cultural visibility, particularly in media, and the lack of comprehensive legal protections. Key gaps include the absence of gender recognition laws, same-sex marriage rights, and anti-discrimination measures in healthcare, education, and employment. While societal tolerance has progressed, structural inequities and biases persist, especially in rural areas and among conservative communities.      The findings reveal that cultural acceptance alone does not ensure equality, as many LGBTQ+ individuals face marginalization, workplace discrimination, and healthcare bias. Opinions varied on whether legal reforms or societal attitude shifts should take priority, but there was consensus on the urgent need for legislative measures to close these gaps. The study emphasizes a dual approach: advancing legal protections while fostering education and awareness to combat prejudice. Strengthening legal safeguards is vital to promoting equality, protecting human rights, and positioning Thailand as a leader in LGBTQ+ rights in Southeast Asia. &nbsp

    No full text
This study investigates the challenges in cross-border trade between Myanmar and Thailand, focusing on the Myawaddy Border Trade Zone. It aims to identify and study in detail the present challenges to cross-border trade in the Myawaddy Border Trade Zone and to explore feasible solutions. Using a qualitative research approach, data was collected through semi-structured interviews and analysed using a thematic analysis method. A total of six traders and two government representatives were selected to provide diverse perspectives on the challenges faced in the Myawaddy Border Trade Zone. The findings reveal four main issues: transportation difficulties, fluctuations in exchange rates, changes in export policy, and border instability and security challenges. To address transportation issues, traders have started using alternative routes and maritime options. To address exchange rate fluctuations, traders suggest implementing advanced payment methods and adopting bilateral currency usage. To address changes in export policy, traders suggest delaying policy implementation until the end of the 2024-2025 fiscal year. To address border instability and security concerns, traders have opted for war risk insurance and collaborated with local authorities. The study recommends that the Ministry of Commerce maintain consistent trade policies, stable export and import regulations, and enhance trade facilitation. The Central Bank of Myanmar should focus on stabilizing exchange rates and addressing inflation. Traders should adopt advanced payment systems, expand supply chains, and collaborate with local authorities

The Effect of Livestreaming on Purchase Intention in the Fast-Fashion Local Brand Industry Among Gen Z in Vietnam

    No full text
This study aims to explore the effect of live streaming on the purchase intentions of Gen Z consumers in Vietnam's local fast fashion industry. With the rise of social commerce, particularly the widespread adoption of livestreaming shopping, local brands are increasingly relying on this digital tool to attract young, tech-savvy audiences. The study seeks not only to examine the overall effect of livestreaming on purchase intentions but also to analyze the influence of five specific elements: host engagement, real-time product demonstrations, instant promotions, exposure frequency, and viewing duration. A structured questionnaire was distributed to 400 Gen Z respondents who had watched fashion-related live streaming within the past six months. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and regression analysis. The results revealed a significant positive correlation between livestreaming and purchase intention, with host engagement identified as the most influential factor, followed by instant promotions and viewing duration. While exposure frequency and real-time product demonstrations also showed positive effects, their influence was relatively weaker. This study adds new evidence to the field of digital consumer behavior research and provides practical insights for Vietnamese local fashion brands to optimize their live streaming strategies targeting Gen Z audiences
