Opportunities and Challenges for the Sustainable Development of Railway Logistics
Get PDFThis study assesses the current status of railway logistics development, emphasizes the rapid development of railway logistics technology in China and the strategic advantages of Thailand, and explores the opportunities and challenges of railway logistics in sustainable development. A qualitative research methodology was used to obtain primary data through interviews with three Chinese railway logistics company managers and three Thai railway logistics experts, and secondary data, such as government reports and industry publications, were content analyzed in order to integrate the results of the literature review and expert interviews. The study finds that policy support and technological innovation are key opportunities for advancing sustainable development, while infrastructure constraints, technological upgrades, and inadequate policy frameworks are the main challenges. This paper proposes recommendations to strengthen technological research, infrastructure investment, green policy reforms, and optimize international cooperation to promote sustainable development of railway logistics and provide strategic guidance for railway logistics enterprises, policymakers, and future research on the sustainable development of railway logistics

Get PDFThis predictive study aimed to examine factors influencing inhaled bronchodilator adherence among patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). A purposive sample of 222 COPD patients was recruited. Data were collected using validated questionnaires measuring medication adherence, medication concerns, perceived medication necessity, medication readiness, and social support. All instruments underwent expert validation and pilot testing with acceptable psychometric properties. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and binary logistic regression.
The results revealed that 94.14% of participants were adherent to their medication regime. Medication concerns and medication readiness were significantly associated with medication adherence (p .046 and p < .001, respectively). Medication readiness emerged as the sole significant predictor of adherence, accounting for 32.6% of the variance (Nagelkerke R² = .326, p < .001). Patients in the maintenance stage of readiness were 32.64 times more likely to be adherent compared to those in the action stage (OR = 32.64, 95% CI = 8.35-127.54, p < .001). It is therefore recommended that nurses assess patients' medication readiness as a strategy to enhance effective medication adherence.การวิจัยเชิงทำนาย เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อความร่วมมือในการใช้ยาสูดขยายหลอดลมในผู้ป่วยโรคปอดอุดกั้นเรื้อรัง กลุ่มตัวอย่างเลือกแบบเฉพาะเจาะจงจำนวน 222 ราย เก็บข้อมูลด้วยแบบสอบถามความร่วมมือในการใช้ยา ความกังวลจากการใช้ยา การรับรู้ความจำเป็นต่อการใช้ยา ความพร้อมในการใช้ยา และการสนับสนุนทางสังคม เครื่องมือได้ผ่านการตรวจสอบคุณภาพจากผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ และมีการทดลองใช้โดยผ่านเกณฑ์ที่ยอมรับได้ทุกชุด วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติเชิงพรรณนา และการวิเคราะห์ถดถอยโลจิสติกแบบไบนารี
ผลการวิจัย พบว่ากลุ่มตัวอย่างมีความร่วมมือในการใช้ยาร้อยละ 94.14 ความกังวลจากการใช้ยา และความพร้อมในการใช้ยา มีความสัมพันธ์กับความร่วมมือในการใช้ยาอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p = .046 และ p < .001 ตามลำดับ) โดยความพร้อมในการใช้ยาเป็นปัจจัยเดียวที่สามารถทำนายความร่วมมือในการใช้ยาได้ร้อยละ 32.6 (R² = .326, p < .001) กลุ่มที่มีความพร้อมในการใช้ยาระดับปฏิบัติสม่ำเสมอและคงไว้มีความร่วมมือในการใช้ยามากกว่ากลุ่มที่มีความพร้อมระดับการปฏิบัติ 32.64 เท่า (OR = 32.64, 95% CI = 8.35-127.54, p < .001) ดังนั้นพยาบาลควรประเมินความพร้อมในการใช้ยาของผู้ป่วยเพื่อส่งเสริมความร่วมมือในการใช้ยาอย่างมีประสิทธิภา
The Impact of Mobile Payments on Consumer Behavior—A Case Study of the Thai Market
No full textAs the global economy accelerates towards digitization and financial technology (FinTech) develops rapidly, mobile payment, as a representative result, is profoundly changing consumer payment behavior, especially in emerging markets such as Thailand, which has shown strong growth momentum. This study aims to investigate the impact of mobile payment on the behavior of middle-aged consumers in Thailand, and constructs a theoretical model based on the theory of planned behavior. The questionnaire survey method was used, and 427 valid questionnaires were collected from mobile payment users aged 30-50 years old in Bangkok area of Thailand as the research object. And the data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, validity analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis. The regression model verified the positive influence of attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control on mobile payment intention, respectively. This study validates the applicability of the Theory of Planned Behavior in Thai consumers' mobile payment intention, emphasizing that perceived behavioral control and payment intention are key factors that drive consumers' actual payment behavior. The findings have important practical implications for the promotion strategies of mobile payment platforms and provide theoretical support for the development of more targeted marketing strategies

Cross-Ownership Control to Promote Circular Economy: Perspectives from Sustainable Supply Chain Management
No full textThe paper analyzes the relationship between cross-ownership of shares and the ability to operate a circular economy model in modern supply chains. In fact, cross-ownership can both create incentives for long-term cooperation between enterprises and potentially limit competition, hide environmental costs and reduce transparency. From the perspective of sustainable supply chain management, the study proposes an approach to cross-ownership control not only from the perspective of competition management, but also as a tool to promote accountability for resources, emissions and product lifecycle. Through a comparison of several international governance models, the paper recommends the development of a mandatory disclosure mechanism according to ESG standards combined with a limit on cross-ownership ratio according to the level of environmental and social risks of the industry. The paper concludes by emphasizing that the circular economy can only become a reality when corporate ownership structures are designed to be transparent, connected, and fully accountable for impacts across the entire value chain
The Impact of Digital Technology in Auditing and the Moderating Role of Organizational Culture on ESG Internal Audit Quality in Vietnamese Commercial Banks
No full textAmidst growing pressures for sustainable development, this study investigates the impact of digital technology on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) internal audit quality within Vietnamese commercial banks. Addressing a critical gap in literature which has largely focused on financial audits and overlooked the interplay of technology and organizational context, this research specifically examines the distinct effects of four key technologies—Big Data Analytics (BDA), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), AI/Machine Learning (AIML), and Cloud-Based Platforms (CBP)—while also assessing the moderating role of organizational culture. Employing a quantitative approach, the study analyzed data from a cross-sectional survey of 327 audit professionals, including auditors, managers, and Supervisory Board members, using hierarchical multiple regression to test the proposed hypotheses. The results reveal a significant "implementation gap": foundational technologies like Big Data Analytics (β=.248) and Cloud-Based Platforms (β=.311) were found to positively and significantly enhance ESG audit quality, whereas more advanced technologies such as RPA and AIML showed no statistically significant impact. Crucially, a supportive organizational culture was found to act as a powerful amplifier, significantly strengthening the positive effects of BDA and CBP on audit quality. Consequently, the study concludes that a mere technological arms race is ineffective. The primary implication for Vietnamese banks is the need for a dual-pronged strategy: prioritize investment in foundational data analytics and collaborative cloud platforms while concurrently cultivating a data-driven, innovative, and collaborative organizational culture. This synergistic approach is essential for building robust ESG assurance capabilities and preparing for the future adoption of more advanced technologies
การแปลข้อความวัฒนธรรมในบทแปลคำบรรยายใต้ภาพจากภาษาไทยเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ ในภาพยนตร์เรื่อง “บุพเพสันนิวาส"
Get PDFThis research aimed to analyze techniques and methods used in translating with cultural terms in the translation of the script of the movie, "Love Destiny 2", which was shown in 2022. The movie was based on a retro-romantic comedy film jointly produced by GDH and Broadcast Thai Television Company Limited. The study includes 58 Thai subtitle samples, which were analyzed using eight translation strategies of non-equivalence at the word level proposed by Baker (1992). The research found 58 cultural items translated according to Baker’s strategies. The result of this study revealed that the translator mostly used related words to paraphrase cultural terms in the source text (25.86%), followed by translation by paraphrasing cultural terms using unrelated words (20.69%) and by using more neutral/less expressive words (18.97%), respectively. The translator did not implement all translation strategies suggested by Baker (1992) since the research found no use of translation by using illustration. For further studies, there should be more analysis of translation theories given by other theorists. In addition, further research should be conducted using different movie scripts translated by other translators to understand how translators deal with cultural differences in translation.งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาการใช้กลวิธีในการจัดการกับข้อความทางวัฒนธรรมในการแปลบทบรรยายใต้ภาพของภาพยนตร์เรื่อง “บุพเพสันนิวาส 2” ภาพยนตร์ตลก-รักโรแมนติกแนวย้อนยุคสร้างโดยบริษัท จีดีเอช ห้าห้าเก้า จำกัด ร่วมกับบริษัท บรอดคาซท์ ไทย เทเลวิชั่น จำกัด ออกฉายในปีพ.ศ. 2565 การศึกษาครั้งนี้ใช้วิธีการศึกษาเพื่อเปรียบเทียบระหว่างบทบรรยายใต้ภาพภาษาอังกฤษกับบทพูดภาษาไทยของตัวละครตลอดทั้งเรื่อง เพื่อสำรวจกลวิธีการแปลที่ผู้แปลใช้ในการแปลข้อความทางวัฒนธรรม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้กลวิธีการแปลข้อความในกรณีที่ข้อความในภาษาต้นทางและปลายทางไม่มีคำเทียบเคียงกันได้ของเบเคอร์ (2535) ซึ่งเสนอไว้ 8 กลวิธี ผลการศึกษาพบว่ามีการใช้กลวิธีการแปลบทบรรยายใต้ภาพที่สอดคล้องกับกลวิธีเบเคอร์ 58 ข้อความ โดยพบว่ามีผู้แปลใช้วิธีการถอดความโดยใช้คำที่เกี่ยวข้องกันมากที่สุด (ร้อยละ 25.86) รองลงมาคือการถอดความโดยใช้คำที่ไม่เกี่ยวข้องกัน (ร้อยละ 20.69) และ การแปลโดยใช้คำที่มีความหมายเป็นกลางมากขึ้น/เบาลง (ร้อยละ 18.97) ตามลำดับ นอกจากนี้ยังพบว่าผู้แปลไม่ได้ใช้กลวิธีครบทั้ง 8 วิธี เนื่องจากไม่พบการแปลโดยการยกตัวอย่างประกอบ ในการศึกษาครั้งต่อไป ผู้วิจัยในอนาคตอาจศึกษากลวิธีการแปลที่เสนอโดยทฤษฎีอื่น ๆ หรือศึกษาการแปลบทบรรยายใต้ภาพในภาพยนตร์เรื่องอื่น ๆ เพื่อให้ศีกษากลวิธีการจัดการกับความแตกต่างทางวัฒนธรรมที่พบในการแป

The study found that the book provides clear and concrete examples of how to apply affect theory to social and political issues. Ahmed offers a framework for understanding cultural politics that can deepen our understanding of social and political phenomena such as nationalism.
