What do we (not) know about agricultural economic resilience? Insights from the systematic literature review
The present paper explores the current state of knowledge about the agricultural economic resilience phenomenon. By applying a comprehensive and multifaceted literature review approach the emerging research fields in the area, current level of the operationalization of the agricultural economic resilience notion and challenges in the measurement of the agricultural economic resilience are discussed. The research is supplemented by the bibliographic analysis, which indicates the five main thematic areas in the agricultural economic resilience field evolving around food security issues, hurdles in measuring the agricultural resilience, systems-network approach on the agricultural resilience, agricultural ability to adapt to external perturbations and importance of the agricultural economic resilience in assuring the decent livelihood for the rural population of the least developed regions. The potential perspective research avenues for the future research on agricultural economic resilience are proposed
Robust computing technique for reaction diffusion 2D parabolic problems with shift
Higher dimensional singularly perturbed problems frequently appears in many mathematical modelling. Solving such higher dimensional problem is not as much easy as possible. So order reducing technique namely alternating direction method is one such good choice for solving them. Further singular perturbation problem has its own complexities like boundary and/or interior layers, hence it requires a fitted method on special mesh. Reaction diffusion type singular perturbation problem with space shift is considered in this article. The presence of space shift leads strong interior layer in the solution. To take care of interior and boundary layers, a special mesh is constructed. Hence the problem considered in this article is solved by alternating direction method and fitted difference method with bilinear interpolation. Further the convergence analysis also carried out with rate one in both time and space. Computational validation is also done

We prove analytically the existence of a uniparametric family of periodic travelling waves for a Cahn-Hilliard equation with an external forcing term modelling the phase separation of a binary mixture of fluids with thermal diffusion. Some quantitative estimates on the solutions are derived
Exploring the social and economic consequences of the metaverse: a multi-criteria approach to the SDGs
This study explores the social implications of the Metaverse, a transformative digital ecosystem, through the lens of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The research identifies fourteen key concerns associated with the adoption of Metaverse technologies and assesses their societal impact. A two-stage methodology was employed: an expert panel utilized Grey Step-wise Weight Assessment Ratio Analysis (SWARA) and Grey Combined Compromise Solution (CoCoSo) to assign relative weights and to rank these concerns, reflecting their significance in societal contexts. Following this, an international survey was conducted to quantitatively gauge public perspectives across diverse demographics. Key findings highlight substantial psychological impacts linked to immersive experiences, such as addiction and mental health challenges, which pose a threat to SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being). The environmental sustainability of Metaverse technologies is also critically examined, stressing the urgent need for green practices to mitigate carbon emissions and reduce energy consumption. Furthermore, ethical issues, particularly surrounding data privacy and user consent, are discussed, emphasizing the importance of robust regulatory frameworks to ensure safe and equitable user experiences. The study reveals the Metaverse’s potential to both foster global connectivity and exacerbate existing social inequalities, advocating for balanced, inclusive approaches to ensure equitable access. By integrating expert insights with broad public opinions, this research provides a comprehensive analysis of the complex relationship between digital technology and societal well-being, offering a foundation for future exploration of the responsible evolution of the Metaverse.

Multiple Normalization Rating Analysis (MUNRA) and its application to digital supplier selection in the textile industry
The rapid development of digital technologies – such as IoT, AI, blockchain, and digital twins – has transformed supply chains into interconnected ecosystems, making digital supplier selection both critical and complex. For the first time, this study proposes a novel multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) method, Multiple Normalization Rating Analysis (MUNRA), for ranking alternatives. It integrates linear, vector, and non-linear normalization to improve robustness, reduce rank reversal, and enhance decision accuracy. A case study of digital supplier selection in the textile industry is considered for a real-life application of the method. Results highlight technology integration, flexibility, and technological capability as the most influential criteria for selecting digital suppliers. Moreover, the final ranking of the six digital suppliers is as follows: DS5, DS4, DS2, DS6, DS1, and DS3. Validation through comparative MCDM methods, Spearman correlation, and sensitivity analyses confirms the credibility of the method. It is also shown that it is free from the rank reversal phenomenon. The research presents a computationally efficient and rigorous method for evaluating digital suppliers, offering strategic insights for digital supply chain management. The application of MUNRA to a larger decision-making problem further illustrates its scalability and cross-domain applicability
Accuracy of the corner coordinates of a building surveyed with nine points in RTK GNSS method
In this study, measurements were made to compute the coordinates of a building’s corner with only one steel tape measure and two GNSS receivers in the field. First, three circle arcs were drawn in the field using a steel tape measure at a distance of 1 meter, 3 meters and 5 meters from the corner of the building, and three points were marked spontaneously on each of these three arcs. A total of nine points were obtained and the coordinates of these nine points were determined by using RTK GNSS technique. The coordinates of the corner of the building (K1) were computed by using the coordinates of nine points on 1 meter, 3 meter and 5 meter circle arcs. In this calculation process, the coordinates of the building corner are obtained by taking the average of the values by using nine points on the three circle arcs. When the building corner coordinates obtained with the total station and the coordinates obtained by marking nine points on the arcs were compared, the maximum and minimum differences were found in the range of 5–6 centimetre. Considering that it is advantageous in terms of time, this new method takes completely about 85 minutes for all of the points
An integrated system for evaluating the impact of firm-based innovations on GDP
The study analyses the impact of innovation on the economy in the EU and related countries (Norway and Switzerland), highlighting the large differences between these countries. An integrated measurement framework is proposed to assess the long-term impact of firm-based innovations on GDP comprehensively. The literature analysis sheds light on the link between firm-based innovations and economic growth, and the study follows a three-step methodology: firstly, data on innovation and GDP are collected from Eurostat and OECD, followed by an econometric analysis to identify the links between firm-based innovation performance and economic growth, and finally, a cluster analysis is performed. This cluster analysis grouped countries according to their level of innovation and economic performance. The empirical results showed that Germany, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Ireland have high innovation and GDP growth rates, and their innovation ecosystem contribute significantly to economic prosperity. The study confirms that innovation drives GDP growth, but its impact varies across countries depending on R&D investment, workforce skills, and policy environment. Therefore, policymakers should develop innovation strategies that consider each country’s specificities following the results of cluster analysis to maximise the economic impact
Advancing civil infrastructure with digital twins: a review of applications and challenges
The digital twins (DTs) technology has emerged as a ground-breaking approach in the management and maintenance of civil infrastructure, providing a virtual representation of physical systems which are continuously updated with realtime data from IoT sensors and simulations. Initially introduced in the manufacturing sector, the concept of digital twins has been extended to civil engineering, offering a significant potential for real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, optimized asset management, and enhanced decision-making. This paper provides a comprehensive survey of the applications of the digital twins technology in civil infrastructure, with a particular focus on structural health monitoring (SHM), predictive maintenance, smart city frameworks, and disaster response systems. By reviewing existing methodologies, case studies, and practical implementations, this paper highlights the transformative impact of DTs in improving the efficiency, safety, and sustainability of infrastructure systems, including bridges, buildings, and transportation networks. Despite the numerous advantages of DTs, several challenges impede their widespread adoption in civil engineering. These challenges include high implementation costs due to the need for sophisticated sensors, high-performance computing, and advanced simulation tools. Additionally, data integration and interoperability issues between various data sources and platforms hinder seamless adoption. Cybersecurity risks associated with real-time monitoring systems and the protection of critical infrastructure are also discussed. This survey identifies these barriers and outlines the necessary technological advancements which may help overcoming the barriers. These include standardized data formats, enhanced AI-driven predictive models, and scalable cloud solutions, among others. This paper concludes by highlighting future research directions to address the identified challenges, emphasizing the need for collaboration across academia, industry, and government to fully unlock the potential of DTs technology. With continued advancements in machine learning, edge computing, and secure data protocols, DTs are poised to revolutionize infrastructure management, contributing to smarter, safer, and more efficiently built environments
Quality of designed landscapes and the possibilities for their assessment
This paper explores the concept of quality and the possibilities of assessing the quality of designed landscapes in an urbanised environment. Quality is examined in the context of urban green space issues. The quality of urban green spaces is an important factor for human health, well-being and the effectiveness of urban green infrastructure. However, its assessment remains a challenge due to different terms, quality data and assessment methods. Drawing on international and national sources, the tangible and intangible dimensions of quality, objective and subjective methods of assessment, and key quality criteria are discussed. Examples from Lithuanian cities (Vilnius, Lazdijai, Naujoji Akmenė) are given, revealing discrepancies between planning decisions and user experience. The paper proposes the integration of evaluation models based on both quantitative and qualitative data, including innovative methods such as the analysis of geographic information provided by social media or smartphone apps.

Kraštovaizdžio architektūros objektų kokybė ir jos vertinimo galimybės

Šiame straipsnyje nagrinėjama kraštovaizdžio architektūros objektų kokybės samprata ir vertinimo galimybės urbanizuotoje aplinkoje. Kokybė nagrinėjama analizuojant miesto žaliosios erdvės problematiką. Miesto žaliųjų erdvių kokybė yra svarbus veiksnys žmonių sveikatai, gerovei bei žaliosios miesto infrastruktūros efektyvumui. Tačiau jos vertinimas išlieka iššūkiu dėl skirtingų terminų, kokybės sričių ir vertinimo metodų. Remiantis tarptautiniais ir nacionaliniais šaltiniais, aptariamos pamatuojamos ir nepamatuojamos kokybės dimensijos, objektyvūs ir subjektyvūs vertinimo būdai bei pagrindiniai kokybės kriterijai. Pateikiami pavyzdžiai iš Lietuvos miestų (Vilniaus, Lazdijų, Naujosios Akmenės), atskleidžiantys planavimo sprendimų ir naudotojų patirties neatitikimus. Straipsnyje siūloma integruoti kompleksinius vertinimo modelius, pagrįstus tiek kiekybiniais, tiek kokybiniais duomenimis, įtraukiant ir inovatyvius metodus, tokius kaip socialinių medijų ar išmaniųjų telefonų programėlėmis teikiamos geografinės informacijos analizė. Šis tyrimas rodo, kad kraštovaizdžio objektų kokybė yra daugialypė ir reikalauja aiškiai įsivardintų vertinimo priemonių, siekiant užtikrinti ekosistemos paslaugas teikiančią, socialiai teisingą ir naudotojų poreikius atitinkančią miestų aplinką.

Exploring search strategy for systematic literature review: evidence from the International Journal of Management Reviews
Systematic literature reviews (SLRs) advance management theory and practice by synthesizing knowledge in a structured and transparent manner. However, inconsistent reporting of search strategies limits replicability and methodological rigor. To address this gap in reporting standards, the main objective of this article is to explore successful search strategies for SLRs in management research. We further propose a distinction between transparency (conceptual replication) and practical replication to clarify what constitutes a replicable review in this field. We conducted a systematic review of 57 SLRs published in the International Journal of Management Reviews and propose five criteria that search strategy reporting should meet to ensure replicability: (1) provision of a search query, (2) reporting of the query execution date, (3) indication of the search timespan, (4) clear presentation of inclusion/exclusion criteria, and (5) specification of the document sections screened (e.g., title, abstract, full text). Our findings show that most reviews support conceptual replication by providing the search query, timespan, inclusion/exclusion criteria, and screened document sections; however, practical replication remains rare due to missing details – especially the search execution date. To improve future SLRs, we recommend: (1) disclosing the review team’s underlying research paradigms and beliefs to clarify the perspective behind the synthesis, and (2) ensuring diverse team composition from the outset – or, if constrained, explicitly acknowledging such limitations.
