FINANCIAL RATIOS AND SPECULATIVE DYNAMICS IN THIRD-LINER STOCKS: EVIDENCE FROM THE INDONESIA STOCK EXCHANGE
This study investigates whether traditional financial ratios remain valid predictors of stock prices in speculative market environments, focusing on third-liner stocks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2012 to 2019. Using panel data regression with a Random Effect Model on 72 companies, the research evaluates the influence of liquidity (Current Ratio), solvency (Debt-to-Equity Ratio), activity (Total Asset Turnover), and profitability (Return on Equity) on stock prices. The results show that only profitability (ROE) and solvency (DER) significantly affect stock prices, while liquidity and activity do not. However, the explanatory power of these ratios is minimal (adjusted R² = 0.02), indicating that stock prices in this segment are largely shaped by speculative dynamics rather than fundamentals. These findings highlight the limitations of conventional financial analysis in high-risk, manipulation-prone markets. The study suggests the need for improved investor education, stricter regulatory oversight, and future research integrating behavioral and sentiment-based indicators to better capture price movements in speculative stocks.
ABSTRAK DALAM BAHASA INDONESIA Penelitian ini mengkaji apakah rasio keuangan tradisional masih menjadi prediktor yang relevan terhadap harga saham dalam lingkungan pasar yang spekulatif, dengan fokus pada saham third-liner di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) selama periode 2012 hingga 2019. Menggunakan regresi data panel dengan Random Effect Model pada 72 perusahaan, penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh likuiditas (Current Ratio), solvabilitas (Debt-to-Equity Ratio), aktivitas (Total Asset Turnover), dan profitabilitas (Return on Equity) terhadap harga saham. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hanya profitabilitas (ROE) dan solvabilitas (DER) yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap harga saham, sedangkan likuiditas dan aktivitas tidak berpengaruh. Namun, daya prediksi (adjusted R²) hanya sebesar 0,02, menunjukkan bahwa harga saham pada segmen ini lebih banyak dipengaruhi oleh dinamika spekulatif daripada faktor fundamental. Temuan ini menyoroti keterbatasan analisis keuangan konvensional di pasar yang berisiko tinggi dan rawan manipulasi. Studi ini merekomendasikan peningkatan literasi investor, pengawasan regulasi yang lebih ketat, serta penelitian lanjutan yang mengintegrasikan indikator perilaku dan sentimen pasar untuk menangkap pergerakan harga secara lebih komprehensif
The Influence of the Severity of Obstructive Sleep Apnea on the Incidence of Hypertension
Background : Hypertension is a condition where systolic blood pressure reaches 140 mmHg, and diastolic blood pressure reaches 90 mmHg. According to the Ministry of Health of Republic Indonesia, hypertension ranks third as a cause of death in Indonesia. Secondary hypertension arises from identifiable causes such as obstructive sleep apnea, renal vascular disease, hormonal contraceptives, endocrine disorders, stress-induced hypertension, pregnancy, burns, renal parenchymal disease, polycystic ovarian syndrome, preeclampsia, and specific medications like NSAIDs and antidepressants. Previous studies have recorded 83% Hypertension patients had OSA. Despite these findings, there are still contradictions in the literature (7), indicating the need for further research to explore the relationship between OSA and hypertension, as well as the impact of different types of OSA on hypertension.
Methods : This research is an observational analytic study using a cross-sectional method. Medical status data and polysomnography results were collected from February to April 2024 at Siloam Hospitals Lippo Village. Data were processed using SPSS 23.0 and analyzed using the chi-square method. Significant variables will be further analyzed using logistic multivariate analysis.
Result : There was an influence of the severity of Obstructive Sleep Apnea on the incidence of hypertension at Siloam Hospitals Lippo Village (OR=15.4, 95%CI 3.477 – 68.216; p-value=0.001). Besides the influence of the severity of Obstructive Sleep Apnea, other variables such as gender, BMI ≥ 23 kg/m², and a history of diabetes mellitus also affected the incidence of hypertension.

Anesthetic Management in Obese Patients Undergoing Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy: A Case Report
Background: Obesity is associated with various complications during general anesthesia, including apnea, hypoventilation, and challenges in intubation. In obese patients, these factors increase the anesthetic risks associated with laparoscopic cholecystectomy, a minimally invasive surgery performed to remove the gallbladder. This procedure is often indicated for gallstones causing inflammation, pain, or infection. Laparoscopic cholecystectomy involves small incisions, allowing most patients to recover quickly, return home the same day, and resume normal activities shortly thereafter. Compared to open cholecystectomy, the laparoscopic approach offers advantages such as faster recovery, reduced postoperative pain, and lower risk of complications.
Methods: A 43-year-old female patient with a body weight of 120 kg, height of 155 cm, and a BMI of 49.9 kg/m² (classified as obesity) was initially scheduled for an open cholecystectomy. However, intraoperative evaluation by the surgeon led to a decision to switch to laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Anesthesia was induced using a propofol syringe pump, fentanyl (150 mcg), and atracurium (40 mg) as a muscle relaxant. Intubation was performed with video laryngoscopy, using an endotracheal tube (ETT) with a cuff size of 7.
Result: During the operation, the patient's end-tidal CO2 (ETCO2) levels increased to 40 mmHg due to CO2 insufflation, leading to worsening respiratory acidosis. Complications such as these are common during laparoscopic procedures in obese patients and require timely management to prevent further deterioration.
Conclusions: The patient’s condition was stabilized by employing specific intraoperative strategies, including positioning in reverse Trendelenburg, mild hyperventilation, and applying positive end-expiratory pressure (PEEP). These measures successfully reduced ETCO2 levels, demonstrating the importance of tailored anesthetic and ventilatory management in obese patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy
Strategi Desain Melalui Pendekatan Kreatif Terhadap Prinsip Desain Revastudio
Strategi desain menjadi salah satu hal penentu dalam menciptakan sebuah proyek yang sukses. Revastudio memiliki strategi desain yang cukup menarik dalam mencapai sebuah desain yang sesuai dengan target klien sekaligus prinsip desainnya yaitu eccentric dan energetic. Melalui penelitian ini, penulis bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh strategi desain Revastudio sehingga desainer mampu menciptakan gagasan atau karya baru yang sesuai dengan prinsip desain Revastudio dan target klien. Dalam mencapai tujuan tersebut maka, dilakukan penelitian dengan pendekatan etnografi menggunakan metode pengumpulan data kualitatif secara langsung terhadap rekan kerja dalam lingkup kerja magang. Pada akhirnya, hasil temuan dari penelitian ini berpeluang membuka pandangan baru ke dalam dunia desain interior bukan hanya pada tingkat konsultan tetapi juga bagi setiap pihak yang sedang mendalaminya
ENHANCING GEN Z’S SENSORY EXPERIENCE THROUGH MULTI-SENSORY SOCIAL SPACE DESIGN
Human existence has long been intertwined with nature and its elements. Before
modernization and technology became part of our daily lives, our five senses (sight, hearing, smell, touch, and taste) helped us perceive and interact with the world. However, in today’s digital era, we are increasingly disconnected from our environment. Our attention is consumed by screens, dominated by all things digital leading to a diminished awareness of the world around us. This disconnection is especially evident among Generation Z, who were “born to be digital”. They may not fully appreciate the value of sensory experiences, relying on technology as a substitute. This impacts their well-being through cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. Recognizing this, author proposes the design of a social space that is intended on rebuilding and reestablishing human sensory connections, especially for Generation Z, with their environment through three aspects: humans with nature and environment, with each other, and with themselves. The design of a multi-sensory social space serving as a third place for Generation Z is identified through theoretical studies, precedent studies, and questionnaires. The research results were implemented into the design through activities and programs to enhance specific sensory experiences. Consequently, design strategies include site design, access & circulation, space program & activity zoning, building massing, facade & opening, interior planning, and open space & green pattern planning.Additionally, site identification of Pondok Ranji, Bintaro was undertaken in hopes to restore the
holistic relationship between humans and their environment

Me MEMAHAMI CINTA, KESETIAAN, DAN HUBUNGAN MANUSIA DENGAN TUHAN DALAM KITAB KIDUNG AGUNG: Sebuah Analisis Stilistika Simbol dan Metafora
This study aims to understand the meaning of love, loyalty, and the relationship between human and God as revealed in the Book Song of Songs through a stylistic approach, especially the analysis of symbols and metaphors. The Book Song of Songs, which is rich in poetic language, is often interpreted not only as an expression of love between humans, but also as an allegory of the otherworldly relationship between humans and God. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with text analysis techniques to identify and interpret the dominant symbols and metaphors in the text. The results of the analysis show that symbols such as gardens, grapes, flowers, and certain animals depict beauty, intimacy, and deep longing between lovers and loved ones, which in a theological context can be interpreted as a representation of the otherworldly relationship between human and God. The metaphor of love is also used to explain loyalty and pure devotion. This paper also emphasizes that the Book Song of Songs is not only a love poem but also has a deep theological meaning of a transcendental relationship. In addition, this book teaches that true love is a gift from God, and that you must live with commitment and respect. By understanding the symbols and metaphors used, readers are invited to think about the spiritual dimensions of love and loyalty in relationships between human and God.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami makna cinta, kesetiaan, dan hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan sebagaimana terungkap dalam Kitab Kidung Agung melalui pendekatan stilistika, khususnya analisis simbol dan metafora. Kitab Kidung Agung yang kaya akan bahasa puitis, sering kali dimaknai tidak hanya sebagai ungkapan cinta antarmanusia, tetapi juga sebagai alegori hubungan antara manusia dengan Tuhan di alam baka. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik analisis teks untuk mengidentifikasi dan menginterpretasikan simbol dan metafora yang dominan dalam teks. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa simbol-simbol seperti kebun, anggur, bunga, dan hewan tertentu menggambarkan keindahan, keintiman, dan kerinduan yang mendalam antara sepasang kekasih dan orang yang dicintai, yang dalam konteks teologis dapat dimaknai sebagai representasi hubungan antara manusia dengan Tuhan di alam baka. Metafora cinta juga digunakan untuk menjelaskan kesetiaan dan pengabdian yang murni. Tulisan ini juga menegaskan bahwa Kitab Kidung Agung bukan hanya puisi cinta, tetapi juga memiliki makna teologis yang mendalam tentang hubungan transendental. Selain itu, penelitian ini mengajarkan bahwa cinta sejati adalah anugerah dari Tuhan, dan bahwa kita harus hidup dengan komitmen dan rasa hormat. Dengan memahami simbol dan metafora yang digunakan, pembaca diajak untuk berpikir tentang dimensi spiritual cinta dan kesetiaan dalam hubungan antara manusia dan Tuhan.

Penerapan Cooperative Learning Tipe STAD, Guided Inquiry dan Problem Based Learning dalam Perspektif Kristen [The Implementation of STAD-Type Cooperative Learning, Guided Inquiry and Problem Based Learning in Christian Perspective]
School and learning are inseparable. Meaningful learning looks at several aspects in its implementation, such as the school environment, classroom management, student character to the model or lesson method used. Teachers in this case play a role as agents of reconciliation who can introduce God to their students in the classroom, this can also start from the teacher choosing a learning model. One of the learning models that can be chosen is cooperative learning which uses a model of cooperation in learning. There are various kinds of cooperative learning models, but in this study, there are three discussed. Thus, the purpose of this research is to find out the cooperative learning type STAD, Guided Inquiry and Problem based Learning in Christian perspective. With the literature review method, the results of this study are that the use of the STAD learning model has a positive impact on students, and by the philosophy of Christian education emphasizes the importance of human relations with others as the image and likeness of God. The application of the guided inquiry learning model requires the active involvement of a teacher to guide students both cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual in learning. Project-based learning in its implementation is expected to be able to direct students to holistic growth in accordance with the role of Christian teachers in the discipleship process.School and learning are inseparable. Revisiting Culture: Reforming Christian Cultural Identity
This paper discusses the impact of Christianity on today’s culture, so it is written from a Christian perspective. Culture, whether we realize it or not, has a powerful impact on human life. It shapes people's worldview, thinking patterns, life habits, goals, pursuits, choices, and desires. This paper aims to recall the engagement and activeness of Christians in culture, for if not, then Christianity will not have any impact in people's lives, rather it is the world that will influence and shape Christianity. The method used is a literature review, specifically the fine and incisive literatures on the cultural engagement of Christianity. This discussion of cultural engagement will use a four-question structure: "Who Am I, Where Am I, What's Wrong, and What's the Remedy." It is intended that the results of this study will reawaken the consciousness of every reader to reflect on the urgency of Christian cultural engagement in the formation of culture today. At the end, when Christians could re-engage in culture again, Christ and His lordship will once again shine, influence and permeate all aspects of human life for the glory of God
Metode Pembelajaran Berbasis Pengalaman sebagai Upaya Mengembangkan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa dalam Konteks Pendidikan Kristen
The goal of Christian education is to enable students to connect theological concepts with their everyday lives and to apply these concepts through their actions and behavior. To achieve this, it is essential to cultivate students' critical thinking skills. However, a common challenge in the learning process is students' lack of initiative to think critically, which is often influenced by the teaching methods employed. One method that shows promise in fostering critical thinking is experiential learning. This paper aims to explore, from an epistemological perspective, how experiential learning can serve as an effective method for developing students' critical thinking abilities. The study adopts a literature review approach. Human beings are endowed by God with the capacity for reason as an expression of His grace. Epistemological concepts can support the development of this reasoning ability. However, true knowledge of God can only be attained when students base their critical thinking on the truth of God’s Word as the ultimate source of knowledge. Through experiential learning, teachers can foster student awareness by providing meaningful stimuli. This method also enables students to better fulfill cultural mandates through personal experience. Future research should include more concrete examples from relevant literature and a deeper exploration of the epistemological foundations of critical thinking.

Tujuan dari pendidikan Kristen adalah memampukan peserta didik menghubungkan konsep teologis dengan kehidupan sehari-hari mereka serta menerapkan konsep tersebut dalam tindakan dan perilaku. Dalam rangka mencapai tujuan ini, sangat penting untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Namun, salah satu tantangan yang umum dihadapi dalam proses pembelajaran adalah rendahnya inisiatif peserta didik berpikir secara kritis, yang seringkali dipengaruhi oleh metode pengajaran yang digunakan. Salah satu metode untuk menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir kritis adalah pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk melakukan kajian secara epistemologis terhadap metode pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi pustaka. Manusia diciptakan dengan kapasitas nalar sebagai anugerah dari Allah, yang mencerminkan kasih karunia-Nya. Konsep-konsep epistemologis dapat mendukung pengembangan kemampuan bernalar ini. Namun, pengetahuan sejati mengenai Allah hanya dapat dicapai apabila peserta didik mendasarkan pemikiran kritis mereka hanya pada kebenaran Firman Tuhan sebagai sumber pengetahuan yang utama. Melalui metode pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman, guru dapat menumbuhkan kesadaran peserta didik melalui stimulus dan respon yang bermakna. Metode ini juga mendorong peserta didik untuk menjalankan mandat budaya melalui pengalaman pribadinya. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk menyertakan contoh konkret dari literatur yang relevan serta eksplorasi yang lebih mendalam mengenai landasan epistemologis dari kemampuan berpikir kritis.Pendidikan Kristen memiliki tujuan utama agar peserta didik mampu mengaitkan konsep-konsep teologis dengan realitas kehidupan sehari-hari serta menerapkannya dalam tindakan dan perilaku nyata. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, keterampilan berpikir kritis menjadi aspek penting yang perlu dikembangkan. Namun demikian, sering kali ditemukan kurangnya inisiatif dari peserta didik untuk berpikir secara aktif selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Kondisi ini turut dipengaruhi oleh metode pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh pendidik. Salah satu pendekatan yang diyakini mampu mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis adalah metode experiential learning atau pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman. Makalah ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara epistemologis metode experiential learning sebagai salah satu strategi pembelajaran yang dapat mendorong pengembangan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah tinjauan pustaka (literature review). Dalam pandangan iman Kristen, manusia dianugerahi rasio dan kemampuan berpikir oleh Allah sebagai bentuk kasih karunia-Nya. Konsep-konsep epistemologis dapat menjadi landasan dalam membantu peserta didik mengembangkan kapasitas berpikir secara kritis dan reflektif. Akan tetapi, pengetahuan sejati tentang Allah hanya dapat diperoleh apabila kebenaran firman Tuhan dijadikan sebagai sumber utama dan dasar dalam berpikir kritis. Melalui penerapan metode experiential learning, pendidik diharapkan mampu menumbuhkan kesadaran peserta didik melalui pemberian stimulus yang sesuai, serta mendorong keterlibatan aktif mereka dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode ini juga memungkinkan peserta didik untuk melaksanakan mandat budaya dengan lebih baik melalui pengalaman langsung yang bermakna. Untuk penelitian selanjutnya, disarankan agar dilakukan pengkajian yang lebih mendalam disertai dengan contoh-contoh konkret berdasarkan literatur yang relevan guna memperkuat pemahaman epistemologis terhadap pengembangan berpikir kritis
